I grew up in the town and to be honest I've never gone to Belmont Pizza all that much because the food and service has never really been all that great but it is a staple. It's been there forever so I went recently because I used to somewhat enjoy the steak tip dinners, and it just was awful. It wasn't cooked correctly. The portions were bad. It was overpriced. I asked for a salad they just threw in some random crappy lettuce with a little bit of other stuff. I didn't want that to kinda be my defining choice there so I did go back a few weeks later and just get some fried dough because you know I can make fried dough at home. I figured I'd save myself the time and it was just a little fried balls, not like they used to make it. It really wasn't done well at all, and I got a slice of pizza and the pizza was burnt on the bottom. The cheese tasted almost sour . The ambience is the same as it's always been. It's looked the same for the last 40 years, which isn't saying much it wasn't great then it's not aging well I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

They have specials every day and an affordable menu. I always see people in and out of here. I'm not a big fan of their pizza, but today I did have their wings, and I do like that they are breaded. I got a cheese burger, cajun fries (so good), 10 wings, and 2 sodas for $23. The staff is cool and works together, I love that cause it gets things done. read more

Very good! Great under carriage, cheese and dough both flavorful. I've only done pick up - at least 10 times now, and the guys are very friendly/easy going. Consistent pizza! I don't usually give full stars but this place takes the cake for Belmont!. Inside is old school pizza place - the same kind I use to go to after little league baseball games. I was recently pizza hunting in Massachusetts during my vacation & this place was on my list. I made the drive out from NYC & it was definitely worth it. I watched the video from OneBite about Belmont Pizza & have been wanting to come ever since. It is so old-school & vintage inside- I LOVE IT! Most places like this have either permanently closed or been renovated to a more modern & hip look. Belmont Pizza management, if you're reading this, please don't ever update your shops look...leave it looking vintage as is. It's a portal & time machine into the past. The pizza maker told me he's been doing the pizza biz for 26 years & the experience reflected in the pie. It had the perfect tasting dough with a delicious blend of cheeses. I give this spot a solid 8.7 They still have the old-school menu with letters on it inside & the old Coke sign. I can't wait to come back! read more

So I need to change my review from last year. Granted, I wasn't a huge fan of the sub I got here. It tasted good, but it was woefully underfilled. However, I was recently very happy to discover that their pizza is much, much better than their subs. In fact, there are three pizza shops all within throwing distance of each other. This place easily has the best pizza of these three! Their chicken fingers are also amongst the best I have had in a long time. While Theo's across the street is where I will continue to get subs, Belmont Pizza will be my go-to for pizza. read more

I live in Belmont and have been coming to this place regularly for 10 years. I usually get a slice of pizza and a drink. I am a senior and cannot eat two slices in one setting and I don't like to take it home and heat it up later. I can eat one slice . this has never been an issue, they know me , I always pay with a debit card and put a tip on it. today I go and ask for one slice and a drink. Guy says $4.75, so the minimum he says is $5. I say add a tip on it, but I can't eat two slices . he with a smirk on his face refused to sell me one slice like he doesn't know me. so I walk down the street to Lisa's Pizzeria, get my slice and drink without shaming me for eating one slice. Saw this recommended through the One Bite app. and ordered some slices after work! This place is fantastic. Though no one goes for pizza based on the decor, the interior is old school, out of the 60s/70s--just vintage, traditional, old school--LOVE IT! Exactly what a pizza parlor should look like. It is the classic, prototypical interior! Perfect. As for the pizza, it was really unbelievable. I usually never eat the crust, but this place had amazing crust. The slice was thin, a little crispy, toms of flavor, great sauce, right amount of cheese, just amazing all around! This is my new go-to spot in the Belmont area! An absolute gem!!! But there was too little cheese, it felt like I was eating straight up tomato sauce on bread. Sauce a bit sour for my liking and the crust at the end tasted way too whole wheaty. I also saw multiple rats in the establishment but that I don't really care bout that since a lot of kitchens got rats in them. Overall just average pizza, would probably not visit again. read more

I've been coming here since I was a kid. Now I bring my kid here. Super nostalgic as many of the staff members are still the same. While they are occasionally skimpy with toppings, they're relatively cheap when it comes to pizza these days so I feel like you get what you pay for. A large two topping for less than $20? Yes please. I've been getting extra cheese on the pizza and it's perfection. Kid friendly, it's my picky 5 year old's favorite. It's a little dingey inside, we usually grab to-go. Great, well-priced pizza. I love the almost cabin-like feel to the interior. I felt like I'd gone back in time, just hanging out in an old-fashioned pizza parlor. Got a slice today fresh out of the oven and it was perfect. Wish I had taken a photo before I gobbled it all up! As some other Yelp reviewers have said, their crust is delicious. Belmont Pizza has really good pizza, just know that they're not exactly consistent. Sometimes the burger will be grilled on the flame, other times it's on the flat top. Sometimes the pepperoni is great, and sometimes it's the small rubbery ones. Sometimes they'll put BACON in a BLT and sometimes they'll put bacon (see pic). But veggies were fresh and delicious. And sometimes they'll wear a mask, and sometimes they won't. So just be prepared, but it is delicious. read more

I don't recommend this pizza place not for the quality of food but the quality of customer service. It is right now 10/20/23 Friday call to order four pizzas for pick up. I was told they were very busy and to call back in 30 minutes. This is totally unacceptable customer service I have never been told that before ever. I am 55 years old and it's been 55 years never ever call the pizza place and they told me too busy call back in a half hourended up taking my business elsewhere. This is not good for business. I received a message from the owner which shows me they're listening and they care about their business and I am impressed by that. To be honest if it were easier to park I would have done things the old fashioned way and picked up my pizza and avoided this whole issue However, the owner expressed concern I still did not get an explanation of the Service charge which again was 5.00 in change ....On top of the Grub Hub fee ...I have recently been informed that somehow Grub Hub is intercepting online orders so we are kind of being tricked into using them whether we want to or not Going forward if I get delivery I am going to call the establishment directly and go from there ....Your pizza looks amazing and I will get over to try it one of these days ....Sorry about this read more

My favorite pizza place in the area, hands down. They actually make their own fresh dough and it shows - the crust is actually worth eating, tastes like a fresh dinner roll you'd want to spread some butter over. I love that they're not stingy at all with the toppings, their supreme pizza comes fully loaded with as many toppings as the pizza can handle. Also - go for their steak supreme sandwich. Never thought of putting salami and pepperoni in a steak and cheese, adds another layer of flavor there. read more
