My wife called to ask about the ingredients in the pizza dough and toppings because our toddler has an egg allergy. Instead of being treated respectfully, she was put on hold and could hear an employee saying, "OMG, she asks ten thousand questions about tomato and cheese." That was extremely rude and disappointing. Families dealing with food allergies are simply trying to keep their children safe. We also felt the dismissive attitude may have been influenced by my wife's accent, which made the experience even worse. Stopped by to grab a loaf of bread to go with sauce I was making. They bake the bread fresh daily and you can buy it. It was so delicious and fresh. Nice crust on the outside but soft in the middle. I can't wait to try some of the other breads they make. I of course grabbed a slice of Sicilian pizza which was once again delicious. Got my daughter a regular slice of cheese and she loved that. I was in the area around lunchtime and was looking for a place to grab a slice of pizza. I drove by this place and noticed that they had cases with slices on the counter. A quick yelp search revealed good reviews so I parked nearby and went in. The place is very small and while there are a couple stools for dining in, I'm not sure I would recommend it as it would be tight with customers waiting for pick up In the case, he had two thin crust, pizzas, one pepperoni, one cheese and a Sicilian pizza I got two slices of cheese to go because they were likely fresh out of the oven based upon the time they did not need to be reheated The two slices in a bottle of Coke was $11 There was only one guy working, but he was very friendly and fast moving. While cashing me out, another person came in and asked him if he could provide him two fives for 10. This gentleman had to say no and then profusely apologize for not being able to do so. The slices were packaged in a paper bag, and when I opened it observed that he had folded the slices inside paper plates inside the bag, which was pretty ingenious, so the cheese did not stick to the bag Because the slices were warm, but not piping hot. They unfolded without removing all the cheese to one side. The slices were very flavorful in the undercarriage was crisp with a bit of char In the glass case while waiting, I observed a number of several rules which looked like they were freshly baked from the pizza oven and would make unbelievable sandwiches I will definitely return if I am in this area of Watertown again read more

Pizza Roma has retuned to being a neighborhood stand by for a good pizza. We get a special order small cheese with no red sauce, mushrooms, spinach and onions. Each time it tastes better and better. The crust is light and airy. The cheese is soft, melty and buttery tasting. No onions made it to our pie tonight even after they clarified it but hey, it's a Friday night! read more

I ordered a white pizza with mushrooms on it two days ago, I wanted to let some time pass before I wrote this review, to let me ponder my experience. First, the service was good, the staff was friendly, made some attempts at small chat, and quickly whipped up the pizza as I arrived early. I recognize these positive aspects. The place is a takeout place mostly and on the small size, but you could grab some slices and eat them there. Bottom Line: The pizza, the crust was light, I asked for it well done, but it wasn't what I was looking for in doneness, but that is minor, the mushrooms spoiled the whole pizza. Someone should taste these toppings before they put them on the pizza, they made anchovies seem saltless. The level of salt was nothing I ever encountered, It made the pizza almost unedible. In total half the pie was gone and shortly into it I just started pulling all the mushrooms off and my dining partner stopped eating it. Any taste on the pie other than the salty mushrooms was obscured. Now maybe this was a fluke, I ate a few slices from here and they were pretty okay several months ago, so I went back. Maybe, if I had just ordered a cheese pie I would have been pleased, but in the end this bad experience will keep me from going back. Lastly, on a white pie I am accustomed to it having a garlic flavor, riccota and maybe even a little truffle oil, if any of these were present I couldn't detect them, Maybe if I added them and ordered no mushrooms I would be writing a different review, who knows. read more

Two meatball calzones and a garlic bread for under $40! Absolutely delicious meatballs, not too dense and perfectly seasoned. Garlic bread was fresh with real garlic. Interior was spotless and the gentleman who took our order made sure we got exactly what we wanted. We will absolutely be back. read more

This is the newest Roma. Absolutely the best in Watertown now!! I was always die-hard Stellas, but the newest Roma has become the king!! Had some slices here that were exactly like Italy. So damn good. Also had a steak sub, which I guarantee is the best Ive had in my life!! They should change the name to reflect that its not the old school Roma (not that it was bad- just different). This place is just like Italy. Even makes biscotti, which I also got- awesome. This is a MUST if youre looking for pizza subs or whatever Italian food you think of. This little hole in the wall is a great find! Went looking for a roast beef sandwich and got so much more! The bread is baked fresh and it is amazing choice for a bomb! Really good old-school local pizza joint. Friends mentioned that it's the local pizza place that most closely resembles New York pizza. I'm not such a pizza connoisseur, but I definitely thought that the dough was of an excellent texture, that the cheese was particularly yummy, and that the toppings were plentiful. For my taste, I probably wanted a bit more yeast in that dough to make it rise more. The meatball topping could be a bit more seasoned, and definitely could have used a lot more tomato sauce. This is such a difficult review. The pizza is probably the best (or close to it) in the area, but the service is so lacking that it's difficult to recommend. Food: I've ordered pizza here 3 times. First time was an interesting combo, and it only tasted okay, but I didn't fault the establishment. I ended up ordering pepperoni pizzas the next two times and they were incredible, with the only flaw being that I wish the crust was a bit crispier (however, I have an idea that mine might be an outlier for reasons below). Service: Not good. The last two times I've ordered here, I've called in my order and was given a wait time (first time was a Friday so it was 45min, second time was a Thursday, so it was 25 min). I arrive there at the 40 and 20min marks, respectively and they have no record of my pizza being ordered. These orders are then, most likely rushed, resulting in pizzas coming out faster (and longer wait times for me). There's no apology for this mishap, either time. I'm torn on whether I want to continue supporting the business or just take my business elsewhere for pizza. My personal recommendations for the business (these are just recommendations, feel free to ignore): 1. Please add a card reader to your business and just raise prices by 3-4% (if people decide to pay by card). I'm sure more customers would appreciate this too. 2. Come up with a better system (maybe electronic) for order taking, that also prints out a receipt. 3. You can support our cops (and other heroes like firefighters, military, EMT) while not having a blue lives matter flag on display in your business as that flag sends a different message. read more

Under now ownership and has gone down hill. Don't be fooled by the positive reviews they were for the previous owner. This is what they call a margarita pizza. Finally tried this local legend! We're so glad we did. Got a Sicilian pie - cooked to perfection, fresh ingredients, yummy sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and an amazing crust. This is genuine pizza. The kind that is rare now. The Arancini was delicious too. The best part - how well everything heated the next day - few pizzas are so delicious second day now. They're so thin, charred, dry. The pizza was excellent and the salad was the same as ever. The person who took my order was pleasant and the staff were friendly when I arrived. A great upgrade is they now take credit cards. Had the most awful experience with Pizza Roma today. Ordered a meatball sub and took it to go to eat at work. 2 bites in, I bit into something hard. At first I thought it must have been an errant bone in the meat. I was astounded to pull a 3/4" screw out of my mouth. This should NEVER happen, but sometimes things do. I've owned a small business and did not want to cause any unnecessary problems for a local restaurant. I did not plan to make a big deal out of it, but I returned to the store for 2 things 1) my money back (not unreasonable) and 2) more importantly - to make them aware of the issue in case there was another one in a pot of meatballs that might injure someone. To my shock, not only did he (owner?) not care at all, he immediately starting yelling at me an accusing me of planting it! I barely got halfway through a sentence. He didn't want to hear it. He got in my face and said he was going to call the police. At that point, I walked away from him and out of the store and called the police myself. And the Board of Health. Neither of which needed to happen had he talked to me and showed any level of concern at all. For the record, and before he responds here, his "proof" of me planting it was watching me walking around to the passenger side of my car, right in front of his business, and take out the sandwich, which was still in the cardboard container. I had placed the screw, which came out of my mouth, onto the container and when I pulled it out of the car I reached into the container to pick out the screw. WHY would I ever think to do something like this? And if so inclined, for whatever demented reason, would I do so right outside his front window? Insane. My suggestion to him? This was a 3/4", self-tapping sheet metal screw. You might want to stop blaming your customers and inspect the metal work around your hood, etc., before someone gets seriously hurt. read more

Traveled here from Columbus, OH and, as is tradition, had to try a local pizza shop. We were not disappointed. I ordered over the phone and arrived 25 minutes later. The lady told me it would still be a few minutes because she accidentally burned my first pizza. So the one I got was super fresh out of the oven. While I was waiting, I was offered a free drink. I declined, but it was a very nice gesture. Got the pizza back to my family and we demolished it in no time. Nice, thin, foldable slices with plenty of cheese and the right amount of sauce. In fact, one of the slices was so thin it had to be eaten with a fork (cardinal sin, I know, but it had to be done). The pizza was delicious. We got the Sicilian Margherita and small White Roma pizzas. The white roma had a thin crust and was made of delicious garlicky goodness.
