This is nerve damage that won't get better with time. We discussed options and while I ultimately decided not to purchase the aids right now (these things are very expensive - from every/any where), the office has remained a tremendous help. Just today I requested a copy of my test, and information about how to cancel a financial account. I got my answer back within minutes. Definitely will go back here when I decide to take the next step. Really great people - providers and front desk.

My insurance did pay some of it but they only allow $3000 per ear. Which left me paying the rest. The average cost of a pair of hearing aids is around $4-6,000. Their bill was $3490 over that. And this does not include hearing test or office visit.

The 1st time was for glasses and they helped me find a pair I liked and my wife liked when I got home. The 2nd time I went because I bent the ear piece and lost the screw. They could not fix it perfectly and gave me a new pair. The 3rd time I was having a problem w/the hearing aids which I had purchased in my winter home town but which they also carried. I brought in the case and charging wire and thought I would be paying to replace them both. They quickly evaluated the situation and said I only needed a new cord. When I asked "how much?" they replied no charge as they had an extra one in stock. That's what I call customer care!

My last audiologist didn't do that. She doesn't try to sell you something you don't need. She gave me plenty of supplies for my hearing aides. I highly recommend her!

Can not say enough good things about this practice..Husband's PCP sent us to Berry's for a hearing…read moretest and they were rude to us...We left and went and walked into AudioNova..Explained what we needed and why..They were so concerned that they saw him the immediately..did the hearing test with concerning results...They called and got him into a specialist the next morning..called the PCP's office and had them send a referral..They worked with my husband for more than an hour and there were no charges for the service!!! My husband saw the specialist got a shot in his ear they scheduled him an MRI and sent him home with a script...If not for the knowledge and professionalism of the AudioNova staff doctor and staff this could have been a lot worse...I highly recommend AudioNova in Topsham, Maine

She takes the time to get to know you and answers any questions you have. She always ensures that each visit is a great experience and that I do not leave with any doubt about our plan to maintain my health. There was one visit where I waited in the room for a little over 30 minutes, but the Medical Assistant keep checking in on me every 10 minutes to update me on the status and to offer water. The fact they kept me informed and provided a reason for the delay was satisfaction enough that the Doctor and the Medical Assistant care about me as a patient. The doctor was very apologetic when she came in, but I was not unhappy with my experience. I will continue to go here for my primary care needs.
