Simple interior, cool mural and great ice cream. Nino and Ben were super warm and nice. Loved trying all the flavors. Halo halo was mind blowing. An entire halo halo flavor in an ice cream was so gooooood. They were put of langka that day so i settled with mango and halo halo. My husband had halo halo and macapuno which was also freaking amazing. Dont miss this place. The spot is kinda hidden in a corner inside a shopping plaza. read more

Delicious ice cream served with friendly service! Recommend you come in and support this local and small business. I had two scoops in a cup: rocky road and pistachio. Both were creamy and deliciously refreshing on a warm day. The rocky road was made with Guittard chocolate, fluffy marshmallows, and walnuts. The pistachio was chock full of California pistachios. I loved that every ingredient was distinguishable and that the ice creams were not too sweet. The almond brittle is also a must try. The only way to improve them is to cover them in chocolate. First time at Ben Scoops and glad we walked down from Thai BBQ on Father's Day 6/16/24. After a nice lunch at thai bbq on father's day, we were craving for dessert. So we decided to walk down the plaza to Ben Scoops. They have so many delicious flavors. The ice cream is delicious, varying from different flavors. I ordered the mango, jackfruit and halo halo ice cream flavors and loved them! Our party of 11 people also ordered various flavors and everyone raved about how good the flavors were. The service was great, the young lady who was managing the store managed to provide good customer service in spite of the chaos and loud noise from our group. She offered samples and was very patient with all of us. The prices are on the higher side but everything nowadays is high! Just wish the scoop was bigger but nonetheless we enjoyed everything! I am so very happy that my friend introduced this spot to me. The ice cream is SO GOOD! The texture is so creamy and thick. Such an awesome wide variety of flavor options, including many Filipino favorites. I got the langka (jackfruit) and toasted almond, so delicious! Service was very friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions and let me sample a few flavors... it was hard to practice some self control and choose between two flavors! Interior was simple but cute with handmade wall art and figurines that remind me of the Philippines. All very inviting and welcoming. Indoor and outdoor seating options. You have to try this place, we almost couldn't find it. It's tucked away in the corner of the complex. Nino was AMAZING! it was mine and my co workers first time ever here and I have to say the ice cream is beyond delicious! Nino was generous enough to let us try many flavors making it difficult to pick and take home. Should've taken a picture but it was to good to wait another second. On our back to the office we got stopped by a lady asking where we had gotten the ice cream from and stated she was going to make her way there! Already referring all around! Located off E Carson St in Carson. Parking is shared with the other businesses in the little plaza. The place is small they don't have any tables inside they do have about 5 stools to sit on and there are tables outside. You can sample the flavors before you decide. I got the New York Cherry which was cherry ice cream & maraschinos cherries and the grasshopper pie which was mint chocolate chip, Oreo cookies and fudge swirl both were yummy and will be a repeat for me. The owner (I think he was the owner) was really nice and explained stuff like the service charge for using a credit card. Debit cards there are no service charges. I gotta remember cash next time. Overall a good ice cream place. I only wish they were opened a little later like till 10 but they close at 8pm daily. read more

I hardly write reviews, but the service from owner Ben is always so positive and friendly. He always has a smile on his face and is welcoming with providing samples. He never makes us feel hurried. Ben Scoops is THE new summer spot. Tasting the fresh & flavorful ice cream really brought me back to my childhood, making this spot my go to for ice cream now. The ice cream itself was creamy, sweet and fills that sweet treat craving. Personally, I would've like to order something else, but the samples buttered me up on getting these sweeter flavors. One thing to note is that they did not have signs or ask about allergens prior to offering samples. I ended up trying a sample that had peanuts and I completely forgot about my friend having a peanut allergy and I let them sample it as well. Thankfully, nothing happened. They were accomodating and offered us a free water bottle and waffle cone to get the peanut taste out their mouth. There's ample parking in the parking lot, it's part of a mini plaza. It's right down the street from Redondo Beach which is nice! Customer service was great! I thought the lady and man working were friendly and inviting. I hope they fix their AC or whatever the issue was with feeling so yucky inside!
