This establishment claims to close at 10pm. It was 8:20pm on a Friday night, doors locked and employee mopping ignored us.

I had no idea this place even existed until the smell hit me walking by, it was like the gelato was literally calling me inside. And wow...I had the Tiramisu and let me tell you it was creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. It was so good it didnt even make it to my car I was like a little kid having ice cream for the very first time. I probably had it all over my hands and face, but I didnt notice or care because it was worth every second because it was THAT delicious. On top of that, the service was wonderful--friendly, patient, and welcoming. The shop is clean, cozy, and has such a warm ambiance. Benedetto Gelato is one of those hidden gems you don't expect to find, but once you do Benedetto Gelato is a hidden, everything about it makes you just instantly fall in love with. Most delicious gelato in the IE (and possibly SoCal)! I highly recommend the Dubai chocolate and one of their newer flavors that has white chocolate, honey, and lemon. I don't recall the name but it was so good! The staff there are always welcoming and patient as I ask for samples. The inside is super clean and there is seating outside where you can eat your gelato while you enjoy the view. A great evening treat! read more

I didn't get a chance to take a photo :( but I can say it was superrrr good I got the Dubbai chocolate and the dulce de leche. The dulce was refreshing, the dubbai was really thick. I'm in love with it. It reminds me of rocky road lowkey. It's scary that this is only a 7min drive from me they have a reward system at least! I will be back soon obviously. Saw some fancy type online about this place and decided to try it out last min. What I saw on instagram looked amazing well guess what? I didn't see shit because everything was out that I wanted. Wtf?!? Did fucken Jesus make the gelato to be that good and pricy?!? Nah it is not! Tf is 10 bucks for one gelato mofos are fucken trippin mane? Some of these flavors also are absolutely DIABLOCIAL!!! Also, I show up and no one is there?!? They are on break what?!! AMAZING!! Best Gelato hands down!!! Honestly this place just made me a gelato fan. I got the pistachio and vanilla my husband got strawberry, mango and vanilla. Nice friendly staff. Clean. A little pricey but worth a try. I really hope this place stays successful. read more

Phenomenal gelato. Absolutely delicious and great flavors. I love that you can do 2 flavors in a small cup. I had the pistachio & cookies n cream. The hubs had the Dubai chocolate and a caramel one. I think it's pretty expensive but it is really fantastic so you get what you pay for. read more

The service was quick, the esthetic was bright, clean and pretty. Parking is not convenient if coming on the weekend at night but it is a short stroll to the Farmhouse Collective where Benedetto is located. We were able to chat with the staff and taste a few flavors before deciding on tiramisu and marscapone with berries in one cup and then mascarpone with berries and Belgium chocolate. Not so yummy! Riverside needed a really good gelato place and this checks all the boxes. Next time I want to try the Dubai chocolate floor. We were able to eat our gelato and listen to some great music outside on their barn stage. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures but go give it a try for sure. You won't be disappointed. read more

Delicious gelato!! The gelatos taste so quality with real, rich ingredients. My cousin and i were really excited to try out the gelato. We waited some time because the couple in front sampled nearly all of them. When it was our turn, we were told no more than 3 samples per person, that's fair but why didn't that apply to the middle aged white people too? My cousin commented on how much smaller her samples were getting as our server was getting frustrated (a big line came in 15 min before closing). And we got a snarky response back. This was the fastest downhill eatery experience that I've had -- in under 5 minutes! I am not taking it personally, maybe she had a rough day and asking to sample before spending $11 on ice cream was just beyond her bandwidth at that moment. To the owner, please make sure your employees have ample help, she seemed overwhelmed. Maybe she needs a raise for all the work she's doing, seemingly alone. Whatever it is, she obviously needs more compensation or support to be bothered to serve gelato. read more

This place was highly recommended by a few local residents. It seems like they built their brand around an award winning chef's partnership. However, partnership doesn't always equate to quality. When you label your product as 'the best' and charge around $8.00 for a small size, you should intend to give high quality ingredients and gelato that sets itself apart from others. My first red flag was the embellishment and the way the product was displayed. The product was mounted high above the containers, with no covering to keep the gelato cold and its consistency intact. I do not think this product should be labeled gelato because authentic gelato should be stringy, have natural ingredients, and bold flavors from the natural nuts, chocolates, fruits, etc. This place didn't even have stracciatella. I tried several of their top sellers and was disappointed by the consistencies and flavors. I typically love tiramisu but was very saddened when I tried it because it tasted like concentrate was mixed in it, not genuine espresso or coffee. I actually liked the flavor of their chocolate gelato but again, the consistency fell flat. There were tiny chunks of icy crystals in there which hinted at errors in their storing procedures. Not a single 'gelato' had the stringy/pull consistency that sets it apart from ice cream. Aside from the product, I will say this: the staff were nice and professional, the area is beautiful, and the layout is well-designed (aside from the small parking area) and I would likely return to enjoy the ambiance. As a reference, I have tried gelato all over the country and in Europe as well. America in general does not have the same caliber of ingredients that Europe does unless they pay an abhorrent amount to get them from those countries. In my opinion, the best gelato in California still reigns as An's Dry cleaning. read more

Nice to see the Inland Empire get a great gelato place! The flavors I chose actually taste like real fruit -- not fake or overly sweet. Mango passione, strawberry, and berry naturale were my end picks! Might I add I did have the option to try as many flavors as I wanted! The service was speedy and friendly. More importantly, it melted way too fast, not sure if they are keeping gelato at appropriate temperature. And finally, I think the price point is ridiculously high. Benedetto is THE gem in this fun little collective of stores and restaurants. You cannot go wrong with any of their flavors but the Mascarpone and Frutti de Bosco is absolutely amazing. I also had the Dulce de Leche with chunks of dark chocolate. Everything is clean, presented beautifully, and the staff is friendly. Can't wait to get to Benedetto again soon! read more

I've seen folks commenting that it's expensive and I'm honestly surprised by that critique. That small size will fill you up! They will even fit three flavors in that cup and it will be overfull. The young lady working the front counter was incredibly friendly and offered suggestions - noted that she offered the rewards program to everyone that she served. We stopped in on a hot, Saturday afternoon, and there was quite a line when we arrived but she handled it amazingly and still managed to make personalized suggestions to everyone. I don't eat dairy- so it was very nice to have so many vegan sorbet options. The only downside to our experience is that we got two scoops in a waffle cone and couldn't eat them fast enough before they started to melt and it dripped onto my husbands shirt from the bottoms of the cone. Perhaps a little chocolate plug at the bottom would help to alleviate this - just a thought. Or a wrap of some kind. We were offered extra napkins but they are small, so just ask for more of you eat slowly like us. Overall a great experience and the flavors were amazing! We will definitely be back. read more
