    Steak and Eggs

Stopped by here after the hot chocolate run. got on the waitlist and by the time we got there, our table was ready. The place was busy, the staff was very helpful and got us seated right away and got us waters. Spent some time looking over the menu and ordered a few things. The place is on the Main Street and there is street parking plus a parking lot about a block or so away. Good ambiance and clean restaurant with high tables as well as booths and tables. I got a steak Benedict and on the table, we got steak and eggs, the brunch burger, French toast, omelette, pancakes, side of the hot chicken and the burrito. The food took a few minutes to come out but it was a busy day and they had a full restaurant so that's understandable. The server was friendly and helpful and was attentive to our needs. My Benedict was good. The béarnaise sauce had good flavor and the steak was cooked to temp. The breakfast potatoes were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside. The burrito was packed and had decent flavor and the steak and eggs were good with the same béarnaise sauce that was on the Benedict. The burger was overcooked but the egg on it was perfectly cooked. The kids were not a fan of the pancakes but the star if the show were the French toast. We shared one order of it and it was enough for the table as a sweet ending to the meal. Overall, this is a decent place for brunch. There are definitely other places that have better brunch in the cities. I wouldn't mind going back there if a group wants to go or if we are in the area. I wouldn't seek it out if make a point to go out of my way to go there.

This is a brunch spot we frequent with its close proximity to where we live, reliability with the waitlist "wait times" and pretty spacious interior. The food is not the most "flavorful" on its own, but there are plenty of seasonings and sauces on the table - very Minnesotan. Service is always pretty great here, which I appreciate! Most recently, I tried to breakfast potatoes thinking they'd be the cute little cubes. They were big potatoes (hah!) so next time I'll go back to hash browns. Prices have certainly increased slowly over the past year(s) but still seems reasonable for the area!

We absolutely love this spot! We recently moved to Plymouth and we're looking for a nearby breakfast spot that wasn't super busy. My wife and I also really enjoy eggs Benedict so this spot made sense to try out. Plenty of parking nearby although might be a short walk to get to entrance. Hasn't been too busy when we go around 8AM on weekends. The service is great and the food is delicious. Highly recommend going here for breakfast/brunch.

Wowowow was this place great: 4/5 classic Benedict - the ham was shaved a little too thin, otherwise excellent flavor. 4/5 gravlox - the tomatoes were cut a little too big, wish they were sliced instead of chopped. Also didn't like that I had a tomato core. But well balanced, great flavor. 4/5 French toast. So good, just wish the whipped cream was smaller dollops. Amazing experience. Great service. Loved how the server asked if we were sharing and offered extra plates right away. Waters and coffee was always filled. Will absolutely return.

This was my second time here, but my first visit was yearsss ago! Everything was better than I remembered - it's the best breakfast we've eaten out in ages (maybe ever?). Everything was delicious & the pancakes were served with real syrup, which is a BIG + from me. Service was great too, engaging but not overbearing. This spot would be especially great for a summer brunch since it's right by the lake. Everything inside is nice, bright and happy with high ceilings.

Stopped by on a Tuesday morning around 10 AM, and it was surprisingly busy -- definitely a popular spot! I tried the tater tot hash, and it was excellent -- crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. I also got an almond latte, which was smooth and well-balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness. The atmosphere was lively, and although it was a bit crowded, the service was still friendly and efficient. A solid breakfast/brunch spot -- I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu!

Had a great breakfast! Went with the California Benedict and it was a nice dish. Could have had a little more flavor but the ingredients were fresh and the portion was substantial! Loved the breakfast potatoes- super crispy and perfect amount of salt. Service was great and it is a fun, upbeat atmosphere. Had a great experience overall!

    "The Classic" Benedict. Yummy!

Stopped in for a girls brunch on a Friday morning. Despite being quite busy, it had a relaxed vibe and the sever was attentive, but we didn't feel rushed as we spent time chatting and relaxing. We all had "The Classic" Benedict. It was well prepared with the requisite ham, egg, and hollandaise. It wasn't the best Eggs Benedict I've ever had, but it would rank in the top five. You have a choice of sides- I went with hash browns- they were wonderfully crispy and not oily. The coffee was tasty and our sever kept our cups full- which we appreciated. Benedict's is a great breakfast/brunch spot- I would definitely return.

I ate breakfast here yesterday for the second time and this spot is so delightful. Fresh squeezed orange juice and amaretto oat milk iced coffee to start the day. The smoked trout Benedict and Nordeaster lobster Benedict were delicious. Benedicts are my favorite breakfast food and the smoked trout exceeded expectations. I am also a big fan of sweet potatoes and their side of such was perfect! Our server was incredibly pleasant! I was surprised to be sat immediately during Sunday brunch.

I really enjoyed the Monte Cristo sandwich. And the staff were very friendly and efficient. This place definitely has a nice ambiance, but I will say that during busier times the seating can feel a bit cramped.

Sat at the bar with a friend. The service was just ok. I think the bartender gets slammed with taking orders plus making drinks for the restaurant. We waited a long time for our food. My friend had an omelette and I had the chichidas. We both enjoyed our food.

Food was great! Service was great as well. I had the smoked trout Benny with a pancake side. Trout was fresh and seasoned. Pancake tastes like a cornmeal mix but still was good. We enjoyed the music and decor. The mocha was delish. We will definitely be back!

Second time coming to Bennedict's, this time on a Saturday morning. Good brunch spot, loved the biscuits and gravy and the strawberry/S'mores pancakes were good as well. Both times the service was a little slow because of the crowd but a solid breakfast/brunch spot and no complaints.

We arrived at 11:15 a.m. and waited 20 minutes in line to order. My sister and her kids received their food in about 20 minutes. My daughters and I, however, waited nearly 50 minutes after ordering (over an hour total) and never got our food. When I finally went up to check on our order, I had to wait another 15 minutes to speak with manager Meghan Walsh. She couldn't find our order, interrupted me mid-conversation to help someone else, and only located it after I suggested she search by my credit card. She was defensive and unpleasant the entire time. She argued with me when I requested a refund, eventually offered only 50% off, and later came to our table to blame the delay on a busy Sunday while disputing how long we had waited, despite my receipts. What should have been a memorable family meal turned into one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. I will never return to The Grocer's Table.

For my entrée, I ordered the lobster roll, and it did not disappoint. The lobster was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned, while the toasted roll complemented it perfectly. It's easily one of the better lobster rolls I've had and was a highlight of the meal. Other dishes at our table included wings, flatbread, and the cauliflower dip, all of which were excellent. Portions were generous across the board, especially the apple crisp, which was large enough to share and a great way to finish the meal. What truly sets this place apart is the atmosphere. The restaurant buzzes with activity, creating a vibrant setting where friends and families can gather, socialize, and unwind. It's extremely noisy, and the tables are very close together. We had to listen to a little boy watching cartoons on his phone the entire evening, which was NOT what I was planning for our 25th anniversary dinner. Touching on our anniversary, I called and made a reservation 3 weeks prior and begged the host on the phone to put us in a quiet corner, not in the middle of the room. I had very special plans and was going to present my wife with a beautiful new diamond ring to replace the one she got 15 years ago on our 10th. When we arrived, we were placed at a very small table right smack in the middle of the room!!! I asked the host when she tried to seat us if she could please put us in the corner table, which was vacant, and was told no, this is the best table we can give you. I was NOT HAPPY!!! The most uncomfortable thing is finding a place to park. If you can't find a spot in the lot, tracking down a street spot that isn't only 1 hour can be a challenge or a bit of a walk. We started with cocktails and Bread is Life appetizer (5/5). Bread is indeed life. We needed two baguettes to eat the three butters/sauces. The whipped ricotta and honey was my favorite, but the chimichurri was a close second. For entrees we split the Beet and Watermelon King Salmon Salad (3/5), A Fat Burger (5/5), Chilled Lobster Roll (4/5), and the Spicy Lobster Mac and Cheese (5/5). The salad was good, but the salmon didn't have enough seasoning for me. It's also more of a traditional watermelon salad vs lettuce salad. The lobster roll was good, but of course mostly bread. It was a hardy sandwich and filled more than other restaurants. The burger was in fact fat, cheesy and juicy. The sandwiches come with hand cut fries (5/5) and an aioli. While the Mac and cheese says it's spicy, it's more of a Minnesota spice. It's a shareable portion, but no more than 3 people if they have other food. For dessert we ordered the Mud Moon Pie (4/5). When they say it's served with a knife they mean it. The portion size is huge! Like 6-12 people could eat on it. We ended up sharing with the table next to us. We were warned it was shareable, but I wish there would have been a smaller portion option to select. We felt so wasteful not being able to eat even half of it. We loved our server. We never felt rushed, our water glasses were never empty and she split the bill with our individual dishes and then split the shared items (I love when they do this vs giving us one bill). While the prices are a little high, the portion sizes and quality of food make it worth it.

By the time I made reservations there was only space for patio seating which which not as pretty actually had better lighting for photos it was pouring rain at times and I wondered how the patio roof would hold but it did really well just a few drops and the floor got wet so they helped us move our table over a bit Food and drink: I started off with the cocktail of the moment it was a mezcal drink with raspberry and made with Calabrian chilis came topped with a cute little pepper on tops. The chicken was great too!!

Be prepared if you go at dinner time parking will be busy and slightly hard to come by. If you find a spot, take it! We had a reservation, but I don't think we really needed one. We sat in the bar area. The decor was absolutely beautiful. I loved the vibe and being able to see the wood fire pizza oven. We ordered Burrata for the table and ended up needing an additional order of bread. The dip to bread ratio is always off. The burrata was more creamy rather than a ball of cheese. I really enjoyed the kumquat with it, but wish there were more of them. We also ordered crispy Brussels sprouts for the table. I love a Brussels sprouts. These were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. I ordered the Mafaldini Cacio E Pepe. It really was pepper forward and I wasn't mad about it at all. I thought the serving size could have fed two people, especially if you are sharing other items. A couple things that I was not prepared for. This is a "dinner should take hours" type of establishment. We were picking at the appetizer and the server had to come over and ask if we were done and if she should put in the order for our entrees. Meanwhile we were still eating the appetizer because we thought we were waiting for the entrees. And then when it came time for the check and getting boxes for left overs they will take your food and box it up for you. I didn't realize this when I asked for the check and someone's food was taken as she was mid bite (oops). They also did one check for three people and never asked if we wanted to split the bill in any sort of way. They also only gave us one bag for our left overs, even though all of us had food to takeaway.

My expectations were very low. I am thrilled to report that Ruby's exceeded all of my expectations with a pleasant place to eat, fantastic service and quality food at a very affordable price. Jackpot! In this small restaurant, we saw what seemed to be a large number of locals. They have a very strong breakfast selection that is offered all day long. Since we were there at lunchtime, we decided to focus of the lunch offerings. My wife had the chicken salad, which was artfully arranged. The Chicken Salad comes with mayo, celery, onion, mixed lettuce, dried cranberries, fresh apples, mandarin oranges and poppyseed dressing., as well as an English muffin for $15. My wife thought it was one of the best chicken salads she has had! I ordered the Clubhouse Sandwich which came with lettuce, turkey, ham, bacon, cheddar, tomato and mayo on Texas toast, as well as a side of excellent fries for $16. Honestly, if this place was closer to us, I'd be here at least once a week, maybe more! I very highly recommend Ruby's.
