The entire experience was great. We requested seating outside. The view was great as well as the service. The food was delicious.

Great guy, and great view.

Right to the point. View is great, chef was good, and our waitress was great. Food didn't taste good because it had old oil taste to everything we had. They need to do full scrub/clean those grills or replace it. Just cleaning it with scraper and towel isn't going to get that taste out. What a shame because everything else was great.

Our first Benihana experience took place in Key West. Seating at the famed hibachi tables had a two-hour wait so since the weather was beautiful, we thought we would sit outside facing the water. Our server, Matt, was welcoming and offered recommendations. I had the tasty Spicy Hibachi shrimp while my daughter opted for the Shrimp Yakisoba. Our meals were amazing: perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was a great way to end our trip with one flaw: midges. Those little bites stung and interrupted what was a great dinner.

Edgar was such a great chef and was truly a gem there. The food was so good and he made wonderful hot dipping sauce just for me, creative! We have been to many Benihana locations and could say this is the very best, what a wonderful & unexpected tastes!!! The server needed more training but the manager was on point. His cooking skills, charisma, funny personality, witty demeanor and professionalism represented everything Benihana stands for. Nicely executed and highly recommended! We wish him a nice vacation with his family and look forward to next visit.

Food was amazing with a great taste. In one word Delicious and beyond our expectations. We were so happy that we chose Benihana as our last Restaurant before leaving Key-west. Staff were very friendly. From the entrance the Host welcomed us and we could sit at the bar take one drink while waiting for our table. Our server were very friendly and super attend. The ambiance also good. We enjoy every minute we were there. We will definitely repeat Benihana again.

This chain never disappoints! If you are looking for a safe option for quality food at a good price then look no further. Your experience is always heightened by the personality of your table side chef, and luckily for me on this visit he proved to be a few joints short of a good Dave Chapelle episode. Very entertaining! As far as my food went, and that it did...right into my stomach, everything tasted pretty spot on. I would have added some more salt and black pepper to the cooking process but I guess they really a lot on that garlic butter paste thing they add they everything under the sun. My shrimp and scallops we a little bland, but when I added some spices, it turned out to be just fine. Overall great dining experience and would highly recommend giving any one of their locations a try! I left full, content and ready for bed!

The four of us were tired of fish/seafood and Benihana's was walking distance to our resort, so reservations were made. Yes it's touristy, but not all places frequented by tourists have great staff. I am here to say that our server, Camille was perfect. She was helpful and attentive and most of all friendly. She is a gem. And our Chef, Juan, was a hoot, or as he said, Juan in a million. The food was delicious and he kept us entertained throughout. I'd go back if I was guaranteed to have this duo at my table! Anyway, an enjoyable evening was had by all.

We had fun here sat with strangers but we all had common interests and we were all talking to each other and making jokes as the bomb food was being made. We met a couple from England and another couple that had just got married and we're on their honeymoon. The food was amazing and left overs were fresh the next morning . Drinks were very good and got what I wanted

So, we really wanted to believe the hype. The only thing that was hype was our bill. Our "chef" failed to acknowledge my husband's birthday, and was not very interactive. For 89.00, he could at least throw a grain of rice in my mouth. The process itself of preparing our meal was confusing. The vegetables were cooked separately, as in the onions arriving last. The portions were small. Like, Thumbelina small. I could've gotten full at Sam's Club. The shrimp had so much pepper it looked like a Dalmatian. The chicken portion was equivalent to two chicken McNuggets. I had a small baby with me, and our hostess had the audacity to say, "Oh you're going to let mommy and daddy enjoy their meal right?" As if my baby was a problem. You'll leave here with both your stomach and your wallet hungry.

We didn't have reservations, but they were able to seat us outside. It was a cool evening, but still pleasant. Food: We started with several appetizers: fried gyoza, soft shell crab, spring rolls, and shrimp tempura. The standout was the tempura, with a crisp coating and tender shrimp inside. The soft shell crab was good, though it could have been fried a bit longer, as it felt slightly soft. The spring rolls were unfortunately very greasy, to the point of being unpleasant. For my entrée, I ordered the sashimi appetizer. The fish was fresh and flavorful across all three selections, salmon, tuna, and hamachi, but the portions were thinner than expected. When I order sashimi, I usually expect thicker cuts than what you'd find on nigiri. Others at the table ordered different specialty rolls, with the favorite being the Happy Birthday Roll. All of the rolls were good. Service: Service was somewhat inconsistent. They appeared busy, or possibly short-staffed. The staff were cheerful and helpful, but interactions felt rushed. We received water and menus promptly, but waited a while before the server returned. The appetizers and main dishes arrived in a reasonable time. However, there were moments when we could have used a bit more attention, such as needing extra utensils or napkins, which I ended up retrieving myself. Atmosphere: We dined outside on the small patio and didn't go into the main dining room. The patio was pleasant, with red brick and subdued lighting. The tables were generously spaced, making it easy to carry on a conversation. Overall, it was a good meal, but not a place that made it onto our "must return" list.

The little seats were also comfortable and the breeze was so nice. The Thai tea was the perfect combination of sweet to tea. It was light and creamy. I definitely would recommend if you can stop by! Food: There were six of us, and we ordered a mix of different items. Everything was very good, super fresh, and each dish looked like it was prepared with care. Of everything we tried, the Pork Belly and Grouper Cheeks buns were outstanding. Each featured slightly different pickled vegetables and sauces, which made them especially memorable. The Tempura Shrimp was delicate, with just the right amount of light, crisp coating. The accompanying squid salad was crunchy and fresh. The three ramen dishes were good overall, although one person felt the broth wasn't as rich or complex as expected. Service: When we arrived, we weren't entirely sure about the process. The lone server, who I believe was also the owner, explained that we could take the large table and then brought menus and water. He had a serious, efficient demeanor and stayed focused on his work, with minimal small talk. As the restaurant filled up, it was impressive to watch him manage all the tables on his own. Most of the cooking took place in the back kitchen, but some finishing touches were done behind the counter, adding to the experience. Atmosphere: The space is small and well organized, with front windows that bring in plenty of natural light. It has a unique character without feeling overdesigned, creating a relaxed and comfortable environment. There are tables for groups of various sizes, as well as counter seating for individuals. Definitely a place we would return to and recommend to friends.
