Horrible everything. From my experience here both times at least 2 people in my party of 4 have gotten nothing right. The food was chewy and one persons food was raw didn't get any water at any point, also the waitress put in our order 10 minutes late, someone asked for mash potatoes and we never got them. Manger is very nice but won't take any action in making an order good. The wait staff was polite and prompt. The noise level in the restaurant was distracting. The large dining area and bar seems to reverberate everyone's conversations. My husband's halibut was good but my hanger steak was lacking in salt, chimichuri was too oily and the fries were way too salty. Not sure we will be returning. read more

Great atmosphere! My team and I of 15 people had an event there and we were greeted by our server Tammy with a smile. Tammy was friendly and on it, she brought water to our table, the drinks were never empty and the appetizers came out quickly. Tammy checked back in periodically to ensure we were doing well and to take our entree order as well as ensuring the main entrees all came out together so nobody was left waiting. Tammy did have insights on the food and all of her suggestions were spot on as the food was great! Knowing how good the food and service was that Tammy gave us, I returned several more times with a couple of customers and requested her section, we were not disappointed as the service was again exceptional as she had that same fantastic attitude, she had with the group of 15. I would definitely recommend Bennet's and make sure you request Tammy. She will take excellent care of you and your guests. read more

Don't like one star reviews but I have to put this. First time customer and got the chicken which was so dry I couldn't eat it. The kids fries were extra salty. We had to pat the fries to remove the salt. Drink was ok. 6 prawns for $23, a little overpriced. The only reason for one star is the service was good otherwise I would not have given any. Omg!! Me and my fiancé had the BEST experience and food here. This food is phenomenal. It truly took best restaurant in our area for both of us. We started with a glass of wine complimentary since we had to wait a lil for our table. Then we ordered the smoked chicken wings for an app (amazing!!) then I had the halibut that melted in your mouth and came with creamed corn and prosciutto (talk about umami) and my fiancé had their lasagna (to die for). Of course we ended with the butter cake for dessert. Mmmmmmmmm mmmmmmm mmmmmm. This place is amazing. I will definitely be back soon. It also is so pretty in there now with their remodel. Met 2 friends there 2 nights ago. The ONLY complaint I have is your hostess. As soon as I walked in (at 5) and said I was meeting 2 friends for Happy Hour, I was met with "do you have a reservation?" For Happy Hour? No. She acted like she would "try" and find a table. Looked around a bit with RBF and then just said "follow me". Set our menus on the table then walked away. The friend I met said she did the exact same thing when she was in last. I was there on Tuesday just before 5. That's your first chance to make a good impression. I let the manager know in all he said was that it was the cook staffs fault but here is a free dessert. Totally not worth it. We had a 6:30 pm reservation on December 10, Saturday. The table was waiting for us. You NEED a reservation on a Saturday. Big Bang shrimp appetizer was excellent , with a little heat on the back end. Chicken skewers were also fantastic. They do prime rib only on weekends. My son had his medium rare. I'm always afraid of it coming out too rare, so I ordered medium. Either way, both were perfect, tender and delicious. Being an oenophile, my eyes instantly noticed the Beringer Knights Valley Cabernet for $20 a glass. I get this same one delivered directly from the winery, so I'm familiar with it. It was served at a proper temperature and had "opened up" already, as if the bottle had been allowed to breathe for some time. It was a great pairing with the prime rib. The mashed potatoes paled in comparison to everything else. Our server was Jennifer, who was knowledgeable and personable. She eyeballed the table each time she passed. Checked out this new location, the vibe inside is great and lively; they opened up the interior from the previous restaurant and the flow really works nicely. The cocktails were a 10/10 (always a guarantee for Bennetts!) and the happy hour menu has a great selection. My two complaints are the serious lack of vegetarian dishes and lack of flavor (needs more seasoning, was a bit bland) for several of the dishes our group tried. Hopefully as they have some more time to settle in the food will improve but please please add more vegetarian ENTREES to your menu! I left the restaurant hungry but buzzed. Overall, it's a good happy hour/drink spot but could use some fine tuning and more diverse choices. read more

First time trying the new Westside grill in Rocklin. I was very impressed with how nice it was inside the restaurant. The covered patio is also very nice. The service was exceptional. I'd go as far as to say it was the best restaurant service we've had in a couple years (i believe our servers name was carly, she was amazing). We tried their brunch and the food was 10/10. Literally everything is made in house, down to the potato chips for the spinach dip. They even fresh squeeze juice for the mimosas! Every single person in our party loved their food. Had a great first dining experience at the new Bennetts Westside Grill. The 4 of us went for happy hour and enjoyed all of our bites and drinks off the HH menu. Our waiter Brandon was great and offered suggestions to our tastes and wants. Our table enjoyed the burger, wedge salad, short rib tacos, and Parmesan garlic fries. Everything was great and everyone wanted my short rib tacos, they smelled and tasted heavenly! We were celebrating a birthday and notified the waitstaff, they mentioned they would bring out an ice cream sundae to share but also recommended the butter cake. We couldn't resist, here's where the great comedy of the night began. The cake arrived and we dug in, it was good but then we started to notice it had a cornmeal texture with chunks of corn, alerted Brandon and he was so apologetic it appeared we had gotten the cornbread by mistake! We all had a good laugh and awaited the new butter cake they were going to remake. The new cake arrived and after a few bites it appeared it was the cornbread again, we all had a great laugh, alerted the wait staff and management and they soon came to find out the batters had been mixed up and they had been serving cornbread all day as butter cake. We all enjoyed a good laugh and it was pretty good cornbread just not cake. Sara the manager quickly took care of the check as well as made up for it with sending us home with take home desserts. Who knew we would be in for a great happy hour and good laugh, thank you Bennetts for making the mistake, handling the correction and good laughs! We are from out of town, here in Rocklin for one night. We had been on the road all day, so I ordered takeout to eat in our room. I mistakenly placed the order at Bennett's in Roseville which was at least an half hour away with Friday traffic. Sara Woods-Schuetz, Operations Manager, at Bennett's in Rocklin took care of transferring my order and bagged it as a takeout even though they are not set up for takeout yet. She and the staff were incredibly kind to me! The restaurant was very busy and they still took time to take care of me. The food was delicious and we were able to enjoy it in our hotel room. I hope I can pay forward the kindness shown to me. read more

I liked this place, the cocktails, food and service was quite good. Only issue is my husband's dinner was cold. Consequently I spoke to some of my friends and they said their food cold as well so maybe it's a common issue?
