Stopped in here with my sister and our two pups the other day and was so impressed with the selection! They have an incredible selection of dog + cat food. Employees were super knowledgeable and we were given a few samples to take home and try as well. They carry a TON of natural and grain-free foods. I'm very happy these guys opened up as I've been wanting to buy my dog food from somewhere that isn't a huge retail chain. We left with some great quality chews for the pups and I'm looking forward to returning for dog food as my pup transitions into adult food! read more

So happy I stumbled upon Ben's after shopping at the grocery store! I came in looking for new food to feed my puppy and was given so much information about the different types of dog food out there. My sister (who has cats) and I were given a bunch of free samples to try out. After a few days, I went with the food my boy liked best and ordered online and was able to get it delivered. The customer service is so on point here and the owner/manager I believe his name is Jeff (looking at the other reviews) is so helpful and informative. Never once did I feel pushed into buying anything, I was even encouraged to do my own research on different dog food brands. I love the shop. They have all of the top ingredient pet foods for cats and dogs. The service is excellent very friendly and they know their stuff. They even offer different herbs and products to help detox your pets. I could spend the same price on my dog food at pet Food express but I choose this place to support a local owned business that supports our community and service fees top Wurlitzer pet food! Wanted to try something different and see a different selection for our two adored doggies and couldn't have been more glad that we did! Not only was the store very well stocked and clean, which is a blessing during these crazy times but the staff were super knowledgeable as well, and able to answer any questions we had. Jeff and Carly were awesome and definitely added to the wonderful shopping experience. They also have a self service dog wash; you just need to bring a towel! And a great rewards program that is highly worth it. Overall I was shocked to be in so much awe about the shop and will absolutely becoming back more! read more

Been waiting for this store to open. Been to a few pet stores locally and none has really met my expectations. This is a smaller store but feels inviting and more intimate than other stores. Met the manager Jeff and Priscilla. OMG!!! How knowledgeable they are. Nothing forced and pushy like the other pet store on Bascom. They weren't here to sell to me but to inform me and educate me instead. What I liked about it was they tell you to research information too and not take everyone's word for it. Been trying to find a replacement for RAD cat and couldn't find anything my cat would like. Just had my cat try Savage Cat today and they loved it!!! Thanks Ben's!!!! Jeff was awesome! He's super helpful and knowledgeable. I trust his opinion over some of the veterinarians opinions. This was our first time and we were just looking for a few suggestions and he shared with us so many options and a lot of great advice. We will definitely be going back and making this our regular pet food store. He gave us great samples to try too. He taught us how feeding our dogs better now will help us down the road showing that he genuinely cares about our dogs health and not just upselling products. read more

I called Ben's Barketplace and spoke with Precilla. I called in distress after my 17 yr old cat hadn't eaten any of its last couple meals. She was super empathetic and got right to work preparing me a mixed bag of dry, wet, freeze dried and frozen raw food options for my cat to try out. I just got home and already the first thing I tried got his attention. And while I was writing this review, Precilla called me to check in. I couldn't recommend this place enough!!
