He is a recent rescue in our lives with a traumatic past and Maddy was very understanding. Very Disappointed With the Service…read more We first brought our puppy here for her first vaccine, but no one explained to us that she needed to return for a second vaccination. We only found this out when we brought her back in July for her rabies vaccine. At that appointment, we were told that her first vaccine had already expired and that we would have to start the vaccination process again. She received her first vaccine again along with her rabies vaccine, and we were specifically told that she needed to return on August 6 for her second shot. We registered her on August 3 for the August 6 vaccination clinic between 3-5 PM and received a confirmation. However, when we arrived with our puppy, the staff member told us that she was not registered for that day. This has been extremely frustrating. First, we were not properly informed about the required second vaccine, which caused her original vaccination to expire. Then, after following their instructions and registering for the next appointment--and even receiving confirmation--we arrived only to be told that she was not registered. Very poor communication and organization. When it comes to a puppy's vaccinations, owners should be given clear instructions and confirmed appointments should be honored. I would not recommend this place based on our experience.

He let me know some of the items I would need and which products were the best. We walked around a bit and checked out all of the critters - from snakes, to different types of lizards, to scorpions, tarantulas and even cockroaches! My daughter settled on a very cute 3-4 month old Bearded Dragon that we took home along with some essentials like a rock cave, fake plant, water and food dishes and even some Mealworms and Silkworms! The Serpentarium offers lots of different meal options for your critters as well - which is nice to know that it is a one stop shop! They carry the best brands for all of your tank needs as well. We were helped by another employee once it was time to check out and she was also very friendly and knowledgeable. The Serpentarium staff made me feel very comfortable with my purchase and answered all of my annoying questions with ease which I really appreciated. The Serpentarium will also take any surrendered reptiles as long as it is during operating hours which is nice to know that people have an option if they have no other choice. While several others were brought out that we could interact with and or hold. I liked that the larger birds were primarily hand raised, which traditionally makes them more social and pet friendly. Definitely something we were looking for, as far as temperaments, for birds. That we'd like to have out of the cage, and that were be socialized with by the family. It was a little light on the amount of birds at the time of our visit, to which one of the store reps noted to come back between March-May. As that's when a lot of breeders would be stopping in with baby birds. So there will be a larger selection coming in within the next couple of months. I waited too long and had such a small window, but Shell squeezed him into her insanely busy schedule just simply out of the kindness of her heart. When I picked him up he looked incredible, easily one of the best grooms he's ever had in nine years. Then, when I went to pay, she told me she was covering the entire visit. I tried to argue, I was so determined to pay and tip her big, but she wouldn't budge. She just said, 'You have enough going on.' I completely broke down crying right there. I've told this story to so many people this week and I cry every single time, watching them tear up too. *Shell, your talent is amazing, but your kindness and compassion is what I'll never forget.
