We recently discovered this store and we were completely blown away. We have 3 small dogs and was able to find beds, leashes and the best find was the special food at about 1/3 less than we have been paying. They have everything from fish (fresh and salt water)and fish supplies to dogs, cats, and so much more. I qualify my rating here because it depends on what kind of mood the cashiers are in if it's a good experience. Generally the prices here are pretty good. I buy Nulo for my Yorkies and often try different kinds of raw food and sometimes the refrigerated type. Generally, their prices are lower than the big box stores. They have really a large selection of treats in all price ranges, and the best price on the wholesome lung trees that I have found anywhere like I said if the cashiers are in a good good mood, you're more likely to have a good experience sometimes they are grumpy and not so friendly as was my experience today. I made a mistake because I thought that something was two for one. And I got a attitude from the cashier when she had to have a manager come and void the sale. Sometimes she's super friendly. I'm still a very big fan of Pet Club for the same reasons mentioned in my original review. Some items have experienced jumps in prices by the manufacturer since rona, so I shop smart. My cat LOVES Fromm's canned food (best pate) and certain other pate canned foods like Nulo, Kasik and First Mate (both Canadian), so I get them here. Very reasonable prices. My cat is extremely picky about dry food. Fromm's turkey & wild game pleases him. I buy it here and I like their first 5 ingredients. Generally, any processed food, the first 2-5 ingredients are the main ingredients. So I scrutinize them. The live animals here are focused now on fish. But if you want specialty dog or cat food, cat grass, CBD cat/dog products, reptile or small animal supplies, pay Pet Club a visit. Don't see what you want, ask. Corey and the staff here are fantastic people and they may have it or can probably get it. I love pet club prices but the pet club in Roseville has the worst worker and she's always there. Her name is Jamae or Jamiya oh I don't remember exactly but she has blonde hair, wears glasses, and is older...She is HORRIBLE! She's so rude every time I go in there. She should NEVER work customer service. The owner should be ashamed that they keep her on as an employee (must be desperate because they seem to not be able to retain employees). I will get her correct name and write another review on her poor customer service. She needs to move on in a field where she doesn't interact with people!! Please get rid of her. She makes going there unpleasant. You would have more business if she was not there. read more

i was just in line with another customer for i believe 10 minutes before two men came from a back room. i even called the phone trying to get the attention of someone. almost left the store. the door makes a sound when people come through it so i'm not sure why the men weren't out right when customers came inside. will not be shopping here again. read more

Great place to get pet supplies. When we were shopping for a Furminator, I was hesitant to buy online because I had read that often there will be counterfeits on Amazon, etc. So I called around all the local pet stores and was pretty surprised at how pricey they were. My sister-in-law suggested we check out Pet Club and said usually their prices were lower. And indeed they were. Pet Club's price for a Furminator was almost $10 less than other stores in the area. So I decided to stop by to pick one up. Before I went there, I came on Yelp to read some reviews of what to expect. (I had heard rumors that Pet Club only accepted cash...which is not true). I read that they give pet food samples here so I made a mental note to ask for some samples when I visited. (Which I did...and our kitten loves the samples!) Fast forward several months later and we regularly frequent this Pet Club. We've found that it's a lot bigger and more spacious than other Pet Clubs we've been to. While they don't carry all brands of pet food, they have a wide selection. Recently we visited and were impressed by employee Eric. His energy and enthusiasm were very contagious. We loved how happy and peppy he was. He really seemed to love his job. :) I think the managers at Pet Club are really fortunate to have someone like Eric work there. I love Pet Club! I always choose to go to Pet Club over other pet stores because of their amazing prices and wide variety of products. I have a rabbit so I constantly need Timothy Hay. Pet Club always has the lowest prices on Oxbow Timothy Hay (which is the best hay in my opinion). The store is organized nicely. I have never seen a product misplaced. The staff does a great job of keeping every aisle organized. The staff members working the floor are always helpful and friendly! Pet Club is my favorite pet supply store in the area. I don't know where to begin...it felt like an episode from the twilight zone. We got in the checkout line and proceeded to have to listen to the cashier (Jamai) drone on and on about her dogs, what she thought the customer's dogs ahead of us and then brought out her phone and started sharing pictures of her animals to the bewildered people trying to checkout. After what seemed like an eternity, it was our turn to checkout and the motormouth never bothered to say hello or even acknowledge us...until my wife asked her how she was doing today? I guess she must be bipolar. She should have said sorry for the wait....The cashier Heidi at the Rancho Cordova store runs circles around this cashier. I'm giving one star due to what I saw in the fish tanks. I don't know much about fish and their habitats/care but I've NEVER seen a fish tank look this bad. Seeing this made me so upset because it looks so unsanitary and unhealthy for those fishes. There seemed to be only two employees working too which shows there isn't enough attention being shown towards the animals/fishes there. So sad. I went to this store for VIP vet inoculations. I bought some dry dog food that the sales rep talked me into. I also bought fresh pet, dog bed, chew bones. My dogs liked the fresh pet dog food, so I didn't want to get another dry food and I was told I could return with my receipt. I stood by the cash registration while customer made a purchase, then walked up to the checker, he started to ask me what I needed. I started to respond when some little bald man started to say "there are customers before you, etc., the clerk and I continued our conversation Once I came back to exchange the dog food for the fresh pets, the clerk needed authoration to make the exchange and money, the same little bald man came to the register. I asked how long the food lasts in frig, he said sarcastically I have no idea. Then gave me the refund by practically throwing the down. I won't buy anything from that store again. read more

We were long-time Petsmart customers because our pets love Blue Buffalo products, but the prices were killer. Pet Club is by FAR the best prices we've found for both cat and dog Blue Buffalo food. For us, it's even better than Amazon Prime, and that seriously NEVER happens! It's incredibly clean, customer service is always prompt and courteous, they have a huge variety, and the hours are great. We go their often to get cat grass. There are plenty of employees yet they do not acknowledge you. They will pay more attention to boxes than serving a customer. We recently bought some cat grass and found a slug/snail which are extremely poisonous to cats and dogs. We will not be going back ever. read more
