Food was decent however service was the worst i have ever experienced. My fiance and i were the for 2.5 hours just for dinner. We had a fairly new waitress and a different one came to us and basically tried to tell us it was all her fault.. again, food was good. Went for a late dinner with the husband and daughter after rolling into town. I had the Cobb Salad (awesome!) He had a French Dip (really awesome, I love that they put cheese and mushrooms on it.) and our daughter had the fish and chips. Also really good. I have been driving past the place for years and the parking lot is ALWAYS filled. That is why I tried it on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Nice seating layout. It's a primarily a bar with extra seating for the restaurant. Seating was comfortable. Easy visibility to several TVs (sports on). Service was quick and friendly. The menu was wide ranging without being overwhelming. Food was excellent (tried fish-n-chips & Slim Jim) Added this to me short list of regular haunts. read more

This is a sad day when we have to say that we will never go back to Bentleys Roadhouse after years of Friday night dinners, birthdays and celebrations. I understand that there is new staff but the treatment that we received tonight killed all the years of faithful patronage to this restaurant. We look forward to relaxing and enjoying our meal. We received our salads and while having an enjoyable conversation all of a sudden our meals came to the table, we were only half way through the salads. The Kitchen runner offered to take the meals back to the Kitchen and reheat it when we were ready,(what would they do with the meal, one was Prime Rib)?? I stopped eating my salad and gave it up. My boyfriend was finishing his salad, but the kitchen runner took his from under his fork while it was still eating it. That killed the mood of the table in that split second. Our waitress showed up at the table and my boyfriend explained what just happen and he told her to explain the problem to the owner, who was walking around the dinning room at that time. We were very surprised that the owner did not come to the table to offer is apology for the service today. When paying the bill the waitress gave my boyfriend an attitude and talked back as if we should accept this level of service. We finished our meal and left, while leaving the parking I decided to call the Owner from the car. As soon as he got on the phone I stated that we just left and that we were not happy with the service and we were surprise that he didn't stop at our table after our waitress explained to him that there was a problems with our meal today. Have to say, was shocked with the food! My office ordered for lunch and we went through the specials. I got the Buffalo chicken wrap and it was just awesome! I personally can not rate upon full service and the facility since I did not interact with the staff of go pick up the food, but did wise, just awesome! read more

Loved this place. I went there for a friend's party and the calamari was recommended... Sweet mercy was it amazing. I will never look at calamari the same. They didn't fry it, but instead sauteed it with capers, artichokes and tomatoes and it was out of this world. Instead of the calamari being chewy, like at some restaurants it was much softer and had more of the consistency of fish. You have to try it. That was just the appetizer, the meal I ordered was cooked to perfection and the staff was super attentive. I got a frequent diner's card and will be back soon. read more

Used to be our place to go for a higher end carryout. Now they are consistently forget something in the order. Food quality has also gone down. An $11 Cobb salad should not consist of bacon bits and iceberg lettuce! In fact bacon bits should never be used in anything!! The blue burger was a favorite.. but they are not able to cook it to medium well.. seems like all burgers will be medium rare.. like it or lump it. We're lumping it , done with Bentley's. read more

I dig the square pizza. And the firecracker shrimp. And the wings, French onion soup, burgers, chicken n waffles, blackened salmon Caesar salad...you get the point. These guys do a great job and that's why the locals pack the joint almost every day. It's got a great casual, friendly vibe. I frequent this place at least twice a month, and honestly my experience seems to be fully related to my server/waitress. There are two older women in there that seem to really hate their job, they take forever to get to your table only to be irritated when they arrive. The refills on our drinks are never brought without us having an empty glass and waiting about 5 minutes for her to revisit the table. The food is consistent, and if you can manage to get Rose as your server, you are bound to have a great time!! It seems that the older women I'm speaking of work the day shift on the bar side, so just avoid that time of day. The bands that come in are pretty good. It can get pretty packed for those events so I recommend getting there early to ensure that you get a seat. read more

Often wondered why this place barely had any cars in the lot on weekend nights. Last night I found out why when we went to have some drinks and watch a friends band play. We had appetizers (cheese wedges and breaded mushrooms), 2 glasses of house wine and 3 captain morgan drinks. Total bill before tip $52.43 WOW the Captain morgan alone was 19.50 for 3. I can buy a litre for that amount. I am all for a business to make money, but when they gouge like this based on a drinks popularity I have an issue. It seems that the public agrees by how few people there. Worst service ever! Went there on recommendation of sister who had visited many times with enjoyable experiences. After sitting in booth for awhile no server even brought menus. Finally waved to bartender to get someone's attention. They were not very busy, only one other table in dining room had guests. Still no server. One member of our party had to hunt for someone to bring menus and take drink order. Appetizer was overcooked and meal was only mediocre. Yikes! I waited a couple weeks to write this review. We've been here several times, and had very good experiences. This time, however, we had dinner while a band played. We were seated right in the dance area, along with others wo were dining and drinking. It was extremely busy, and so loud my ears were bleeding. Well, I would expect certain things to give since it was extremely crowded, and could give away on the poor service, which since the waitress could barely make it back to our table. However, the one thing that was very very disappointing was that 2 of us ordered the $20 sizzling steak. I've had this a few times previously, and it was very good. Unfortunately that was not the case on this visit. Not only did it come to the table not sizzling, and overcooked for both of us, (both of which I could get by with given how busy they were), however, the quality of the steak was so bad that neither of us could finish it. The gentleman eating with us actually almost choked on a piece of grissle. The entire steak was grissle. We couldn't complain to the waitress or send it back, because it took her so long to come back to our table. Finally when she came back to our table, she couldn't even hear us, as the band was way too loud. When I called the restaurant a day or so later , just to let them know that the steak and quality of the meat was a very bad, I got very flippant responses. Not very happy. Very unfortunate experience. Will I be back? Yes, necause honestly I've enjoy ed better meals here before. But, I will not eat dinner when a band is playing. Reserve that for drink only. I suggest you doo the same. Hopefully, they other comments on the grissle in the steak, and make some changes with their purveyor. read more

We've been coming in here for years but unfortunately the food quality has been in a steadily decline for the past year. The owner has seen my wife and I at least 100 times but still pretends he doesn't know us. I think he's only interested in hanging out with his "buddies". The last time we went there the food was overcooked and the portions were small. It's too bad because we've had such good meals there in the past. We will not be returning until the quality picks up. Try the River Rats down the street they are much better. read more

We have been here many times before as we live in the neighborhood but tonight the service was awful. There were not many people in the place yet it took over 45 min to get our burgers which were on special. We complained to the waitress and were only told that it would be a few more minutes. I honestly have never had a bad meal here, and we go here quite often. Prime rib is great, the burrito, nachos, steak tips, Cobb salad... everything is so good! I highly recommend bentlys! Kelly is amazing (my absolute favorite) and the owner is very friendly also. It's nice to see an owner actually talking to the guests and making sure they are having a great experience. What a terrible bartender. My girlfriends and I visited 30 minutes before kitchen closed and she told us it just closed. Other people did receive food. She was just in a hurry to leave and did not want to do her job. We asked for bread and she told us they were all out.
