Came in on the first day of school for a treat. Came in only for boba. Service was fast. The guy behind the counter was nice and answered all my teenage daughters question with patience. We settled on the brown sugar boba her at full sugar mine at half. As we were waiting I saw the sushi chef creating some items and I decided to add some on. It doesn't leave a great look when I pay $8 for eel avocado roll but it has a lot more avocado than eel. The taste is fine since it's a cooked fish roll. The spicy scallop tacos were really greasy and the mayo sauce drowned out the scallops that I was looking forward to. The scallop sashimi I ordered was good quality so I enjoyed that. But this just makes me disappointed at what the spicy scallop tacos could've tasted like. I did like their ginger on the side, since it's rare for a delivery place to have nice pickled ginger. I placed a takeout/delivery order and my review is simple: The food is definitely delicious but it is overpriced for what you're getting. I can't speak to the ambiance of the restaurant as I have not been inside. Maybe the price reflects the restaurant quality and service, I'm not sure. The special roll I ordered was really small (and everyone knows a roll with shrimp tempura is usually massive). But I can't complain further because it was pretty yummy. The bubble tea was average and small for the price. Nothing bad to say there. The crispy rice spicy tuna was the best thing I ordered it was so good. Next best thing was the gyoza. I was using a debit card so I was informed there is a $10 minimum. The staff suggested a brownie for $3 so that's what I got. I really enjoyed the milk tea. It was yummy and a generous amount of boba. I took a menu home with me. Upon coming home I realized the menu is outdated and lists the milk tea at $5.50. I don't see brownie on the menu so I don't know what price that used to be. I understand prices are rising these days but I hope they update their menu to reflect the current prices. Honestly was surprised about this place, this is truly a family owned business through and through and when I found out the kids had taken over I had to try it out. The beef tataki on the cucumber bedding was a refreshing take compared to the other things I've had in the area. They also gave me samples of the beef hibachi and boy can I say I would definitely make this a daily lunch place. They also do phone orders so the foods pretty much ready when you get there and everything is made to order. You can tell that everything is made from scratch and they really use the freshest of ingredients. The sushi is freshly sliced right in front of you and you can hear the chef sautéing the food in the kitchen. Overall I've had an amazing experience here and I look forward to trying out anything new they have on the menu. read more
