The place is modern and clean with a welcoming vibe. You order at the desk and the food is delivered to your table. They do not serve alcohol but the owner said you can bring you own . I religiously order the cinnamon rolls on Thursdays. Delicious and a Vegan treat I haven't found anywhere else. They are always hot out the oven when I arrive. The food portions are generous. The taste is flavorful and delicious and fresh and so satisfying. If you love Ethiopian as much as I do and want something authentic but different than the usual, then this place is for you. The style of food is trendy - so to speak - because the menu changes daily. You can buy tacos, parfait's, Injera Combo's, smoothies and more. All healthy and Vegan! It's near DTLA so for someone who lives on the East side it's more convenient than driving to Fairfax. And I really enjoy being able to call ahead and pick up my food at my preferred time. We don't understand the hype. We stopped in for a late lunch and tried the Eat the Rainbow combo which came with 4 small bowls of legumes and vegetables and 4 small pieces of injera. We were shocked by how little food we were given for $20. We asked for more injera and they charged us an extra dollar per piece. Each piece is equivalent to only a third of the typical injera roll at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant. In addition to the bad value, the injera was served cold, so we asked if they could warm it and the chef refused because she thought that it would dry it out too much. Guess it doesn't matter what your customers prefer. The red lentils and turmeric garbanzos were served luke warm, so we also had to ask them to heat them up as well. At least, the purple cabbage with potatoes and sauteed greens tasted good and a little awaze, a hot chili sauce that you have to ask for, helped spice up the red lentils. With every bite, we were missing Nyala. read more

I would say this restaurant is certainly one of the best they have to offer! The produce is high quality and thoughtfully paired for dynamic flavour. I was recommended the Rainbow. It's all vegan (I'm vegan) but it's SO buttery. The flavors are truly magical. I love sauces and dips and creaminess and it's all in this dish. When I first heard about this culinary experience, I was hooked. I followed on Instagram for a while, drooling over T&T lifestyle's cinnamon rolls. Learning they were organic but that they use date and coconut sugar, I knew I needed to order. The process was so easy and she is so warm and welcoming. I picked up my rolls at her beautiful, eccentric. It was adorned with herbs and aromatic senses. I ordered coconut and cinnamon- she also threw in some apple cinnamon rolls/ which were divine! Hoping she offers them soon on the menu honestly, you couldn't tell that they were vegan! I've tried to find a delicious vegan cinnamon roll for 2 years and she hit the mark!
