Neighboring business owners raved their fair and honest services, and I felt my car was left in good hands. I rented a car and drove home, returning 5 days later to pick up my car. They diagnosed and repaired the problem and suggested one preventative repair, as a result of the near overheating issue, and I appreciate the foresight. While I appreciated getting my car up and running, and the work of the mechanics appear good, the price quoted can only be described as gouging for the work performed. As a San Francisco resident, I am accustomed to high prices, but their quote, which I approved, was simply jaw dropping. I paid it, but that does not mean it was fair, I was a stranded captive audience. My local SF based mechanic quoted me 1/3 the price for the same diagnostic, parts and repairs.
