The result of negligence at this service center

WORST Toyota Service center in Arizona! Do yourself a favor and schedule your appointments at one of the many others in the Phoenix area. I went in for a routine oil change (the first one for my brand new $80K+ truck), picked up my truck a couple hours later, parked in my garage, and noticed a few hours later that my entire garage floor was covered in almost 8 liters of oil. I had to have my Brand new 2025 Tundra TRD pro towed back to the dealership and was without it for two days due to this happening on a Saturday. They ended up redoing their work, blamed it on a seal plug that they improperly installed, and claimed they would have a professional cleaner come out to clean my garage floor. Here we are at the end of the week and I still haven't got a call from a manager or a cleaning company either apologizing or scheduling an appointment to fix their fuck up. There was no offer to compensate me for my time or loss compensation for work. In fact, there wasn't any sort of goodwill gesture whatsoever. Joe Ramirez and his team are not who you want taking care of your vehicle. Stay away from this service center if you value your vehicle!

Avondale Toyota was honest, had them in stock, and was forthright with pricing. Advertised at 33k and was priced at 33k for an Prius XLE.

Had a very good and then meh experience at Berge Toyota. Overall Berge is a great dealership with excellent service, communication, and professionalism. I was impressed by the staff, showroom, layout, and experience from start to finish. Shoutout to Nico and Elijah! (They were five stars...I'd even say 10 stars when you compare them to Camelback or Right Toyota) The first time we arrived to check out a Corolla Hybrid SE which we we saw online on Toyota Smart Path at $27,324 (MSRP $25,940) The sales associate was very professional and let us test drive a similar model and make as the vehicle was still in transit. Afterward, we were presented a bloated initial package with protection, tinting, extended warranty, and gap insurance for 39k total out the door. After two rounds of negotiations, we got a very attractive offer for 33.5k. The second time I came out to check out the Prius LE I met with Ricardo the internet manager. The Prius was listed at $29,874 (MSRP $29,045) but from the get go I felt like I was getting hustled with the ADM here. (additional dealer markup) I was quoted 48k OTD on the first estimate with 6k in dealer add-ons and 6k in protections/warranties. I was told that was the new MSRP and there were plenty of others who would take this price if I didn't like it. The second offer of 40k was a bit better but he still couldn't tell me why I was being charged so much in dealer markup and add-ons other than that it was mandatory. I tried to reject his 3k paint protection and his 2.5k door guards and he became very irritated. The mandatory markups here left a sour taste in my mouth with the amount of gouging Berge and Toyota were doing because they could. (Experienced this elsewhere at Camelback, Right and Earnhardt as well. Avondale and Penske do not seem to resort to these tactics) On the plus side, they are one of the more transparent dealers in Phoenix in terms of pricing to you which is nice as others don't even include pricing sheets unless you want to sign. (Make sure to look at FIO and DIO on your term sheet though as they tried initially to stuff the 1st estimate with as much product as possible. Factory included option/Dealer included option) The downside is they are very aggressive with their ADM markups. Can't beat Toyota of Avondale who will treat you right and get you a good price without the games. (Funnily enough, I was offered two different Prius LE & XLE's with addon's included there for MSRP at 33k & 35k)

My go to for Toyotas I've personally bought two trucks from them and had my friend buy her Rav4. Cesar's is super helpful and awesome to work with. Ceasar super knowledge and if he doesn't know the answer, he finds it for you right away. He honestly has made my car/truck shopping experience easy! read more

**Warning - stay away from this please. Extremely disrespectful when don't play the game. We walked in that door with pre approved from the credit union ready to buy the car we drove. The next steps should have been very easy....But when the "finance" manager came rolling out showing totals and numbers that included things I did not want, he kept telling me "I needed those to make I was covered" and then would not apply the extra .5% discount for a 2.99% total APR and started to argue and continued to be smug...we left. walked out and did not make our purchase. I hate dealers because they cannot be transparent and treat people with respect - and this interaction just sealed that deal read more

My parents and I had a great experience at Riverview Toyota with Ricardo. We had previously gone to another Toyota dealership in Phoenix and found the car salesman there to be extremely pushy so we decided to go to Riverview instead. We weren't sure if we wanted to get a used car or a new one. After Ricardo showed us a few used cars, we asked about the newest model of the Camry. He was extremely helpful and kind, and because of the reliability of the new models, we decided to go with one of those. We were told that because there was a shortage, we would have to wait for the car to be built and shipped. In the meantime, he offered us a loaner vehicle. The car was delayed a bit but when it came time to come in and sign the contract, Ricardo answered all of my questions about financing, and we ended up with a 2021 Camry model for the loaner. A few weeks later, my brand new 2022 Camry came in :) read more

Berge Toyota is still locally owned and it feels like it. They'll be getting my business in the future. Although it is 20 miles further from my house than the other Toyota dealership I recently reviewed, this is worth the drive. I've only used the Parts Department but if the rest of the place is run like this, I recommend it. I called to ask about some random bulbs for a 2007 4Runner. David answered the phone after 2 rings and I explained my issue. He asked for my email and sent me a screenshot of what he was looking at so we were on the same page. He had most of what I needed and ordered what he didn't have. My parts arrived the next day and although David was busy, his colleague helped me out and verified I had the right parts. While there, another customer came in to get parts she had ordered. Guess what? She was avoiding the same other dealership. read more

If you're looking for a new truck/car used or new this is the place to go!! I was in and out of the dealership in less than 2 hours!! I went to the dealership shortly after they opened and Rico was right there to assist me! I told him what I wanted and that I had financing available already. Rico not only got me the truck I wanted but also at an affordable rate! He didn't try to upsell me on anything and was very attentive to my wants and needs! The amazing service didn't stop there Travis helped me get an event better interest rate than what I was offered at my credit union! The Team here is top notch and honestly in my opinion unbeatable. I've been numerous dealers before that always try to upsell on things I never wanted or needed nor did they listen to what I wanted. The Team at Berge's Toyota listens, cares, and will always make sure you're taken care of! This will be my go to Dealership for ANY future purchases! I'm telling all my friends and family to come here for their automotive needs! Keep up the amazing work guys! read more

went in for an oil change and all of a sudden my trucks alignment is off and I got speedshakes going up and down hill on Thursday that made it perfectly fine 3 days before on Monday and never got my stupid walk Thur video on my truck. I also asked them to throughly look underneth my truck while they were down there.. it ended up being 10 $ dollars cheaper made me sign an extra paper, I had another appointment I had to make , couldnt stay and make a seen. it was bummmper to bumper going home and when I left in the morning for up north my whole truck shook up and down hill. .....,,,,,,by 'm pretty pissed off, cant seem to even get it looked at?! it has never had anything screwed up the nicest truck I personally will ever own,, and I can't seem to find that customer service they keep bragging about. read more

Recently upgraded from my old high-school 07 Civic to a 2023 4Runner a few days ago. My experience with Berge Toyota had to have been the least stressful car buying/window-shopping experience I've had. I've visited many different dealerships and many times I've felt gaslighted, pressured, and overall stressed when it came to finding a car. Bait and Switch - Don't waste your time at Brent Burge's Riverview Toyota in Mesa, AZ. The Internet Sales Director lured me in for the purchase of a 2022 TRD Pro 4Runner, which according to the sell sheet that they sent was $56,385 including port installed packages and Accessories, delivery and processing. When I came in to sign the deal, the Internet Sales Director insisted on adding a bunch of dealer options, tint, new tires, door edge and clear coat protection, leveling lift and tires for nearly $10,000! None of this was shown on the sell sheet they sent me the day before and printed when I walked in. They would not budge on these added non-requested items, giving a hard to believe story that these items are already pre bought and absolutely must go with this vehicle. Note: The vehicle was still in processing at the port and was not expected at the dealer for weeks! I walked, but beware! I get paying for a few things 1 or 2k worth of dealer value added items, but it should be my choice and to insist the vehicle I was told was $56K is really closer to $66K is classic Bait and Switch. It's unfortunate that I wasted my time dealing with Brent Berge's Riverview Toyota in Mesa, AZ. I highly recommend you stay away! read more

I called in to see if they had a specific vehicle in stock. When the sales guy said they did, I told him I would be there in 10 minutes. Within 6 minutes I was called by "Enrique an internet director." I didn't ask for a call back. I didn't ask anyone for any further info. I told the sales guy that I was on my way. So I was annoyed at the clear fact that they captured my phone number and the call back and Enrique said he was calling to give me a dealer point of contact. I didn't ask for one nor did I need one. I already had the name of the guy that I already told I was coming. When I arrived, I was asked for my name by 3 different people and I was already annoyed that I was called. When the sales guy brings up the vehicle I began looking through it and "Enrique" surfaces and literally starts shutting the doors of the car and closing it up and takes the keys from the sales guy and says "we're not the dealer for you" and tells me to leave before he calls the police. I can't make this up. I was so gob smacked. It was hard for me to find any words to say in retort to this absolutely asinine abysmal immature and childish behavior. So let me get this straight. I make a single phone call to a dealership I get an immediate call back then when I show up I have three different people. Ask me what my name is AFTER I met the sales guy I was talking to and then when I am clearly irritated by this I get thrown out of the dealership? If you go to Burge Toyota, my advice to you is keep quiet, nod and smile, and do exactly as you're told because if you hurt anybody's feelings, they will throw you out of the dealership and threaten to call the police on you. read more

I really love the energy and positive vibe that Ashely Cude greeted us with when we entered the dealership. She had contagious and radiant smile sending great energy and feelings showing she really cares about our needs and constantly helping us find the specific aspects we were looking for in the vehicle we purchased. I also got the chance to interact with the Sales manager by the name of Aaron Hammer who helped in the sales process, he was very helpful in trying to help us to meet a reasonable agreement with both the term and monthly payments which we found to be very fair. Was a very pleasant experience and was really happy with the way we were treated and the way both Ashley Cude and Aaron Hammer handled our service. Was looking for a 2021 Tacoma.Nobody had the color I wanted in stock locally. Set up appointment to go see 3 dealership in Phoenix first one was Riverview Toyota. They had the truck waiting for me. We visited Berge's Riverview on 10/22/20. From the moment we walked in we were treated as family by all of the staff. It was our first time experiencing an honest car dealership. BARRY FOX was our salesman and there was no hard sale, gave us a extremely great price and a pleasure to deal with. I would like to add we were given the car fax and a sheet of vehicle information which showed the inspections and fixes done on the used car to bring it like new and to make an informed decision. We will buy out next car from this dealership as they made sure we were satisfied with our purchase 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sport and the car in excellent running condition. Shout out to Patrick who helped Barry showing us all the nuances i.e. how to take the roof off, how to tow behind our RV, and the fancy instrument panel. read more

My son(I went with for support) went in today to discuss a 2022 Toyota Corolla Hatchback with a base price of $24,000 and an MSRP of $27,000. Hebtold them on the phone he did not want dealer options and they said to come in and they'd discuss options. Well we drove in from Maricopa, and what a load we received. Quote "while other dealers just mark up the cars, we add options with value (to get extra money). Dealer options are not an option at Berge Toyota, but a requirement for sale. Now mind you, this vehicle is on a ship coming from Japan and they have to install these options. Two years ago only idiots paid MSRP. Well guess what, not only would they not accept MSRP. but they Demand $5000 in dealer options. Unethical, unfair, and literally Criminal as proven by the Local Nissan Lawsuit results where dealers have been sued and beaten by upset customers. Imagine expecting $27,000 before tax, license, and docs... andbthen being told you have to pay more than $40,000 out the door for a Toyota Corolla, that's right, $40K for a freaking Corolla. Avoid this dealership at all costs. Fortunately I was there to prevent these strong arm tactics. And thank you BERGE TOYOTA for helping me teach my son a valuable life lesson. I wonder how much this house of horrors sucked out of the government during the pandemic... read more

What a joke. Wanted to buy a suv marked on website for $47 grand with options. Truck was being unloaded in California (so I was told)and would be there in two weeks. Low balled me on my trade in but I was still willing to pull the trigger and buy it anyway.Then the numbers guy came in and told me they were going to put a lift kit in it,different tires, gap insurance (even though I was paying cash) and more. jacking the price from $47 to $61 grand. And I could take it or leave it. I left! Don't walk,Run away from this place! read more

I wrote an awesome review in December upon buying my new 2023 truck. I called on Wednesday looking for the salesperson that provided me with outstanding quality service. He was no longer at the dealership. I guess customer service left with Joe. How sad. I am still waiting after two days later for a return call from the finance department after leaving several messages with the person answering the phone and asking to be transferred at least another 5 times. Unfortunately, the finance department doesn't have voicemail set up. Convenience? I looked on the website and could not find any of the people I did business with in December. Not sure what is going on Berge Toyota - but my 5 stars have moved to -5, too bad that is not an option. I am so sorry I ever purchased my vehicle from Berge. read more

Every single person in the dealership is so so friendly! Very professional and helped us buy or second car by trading in our other vehicle. I have no regrets as to the exceptional service they provided to not just my husband but also myself and our little boy. The dealership has a tiny cute indoor arcade in the showroom as well as a big indoor playground with toys. They provided us with drinks and food, as well as other snacks! I seriously am in awe the amazing service Mr Will Smith and his other team. I highly and highly recommend this dealership! Well, here we go again. I wrote a bad review of this place last year. How incompetent their mechanics are. Now I stopped by to get a windshield wiper insert. Which is a rubber strip for the windshield wiper that comes with your car's wipers. The guy at the parts department tries to sell me a windshield wiper that by the way is garbage. Don't buy the sightline wiper. They don't work. He told me the sitelane would be a lot cheaper than the rubber inserts. He claimed that the sightlight wiper was $20 each and that the rubber inserts were $26 each. Well, I went out to the Toyota website and look up the rubber inserts and the price. I shouldn't be surprised but they are 9.99 each on the Toyota Website. Hell Earnhardt sells them for 9.99 a piece. They try to steal from me $32. Do not come to this dealership if you do not want to get ripped off. read more

Took my 2019 Tacoma in yesterday for a simple oil change and left with 2 curbed/ scratched wheels and tires. I will not be bringing my truck back for any further services as for they have no self awareness for peoples property. This is NOT okay. And now my wheels and tires are damaged. Thanks for the damage and loss of business! Especially when told to please be careful of curbs and turning radius. Still no regard.. clearly . read more

This review is only for the service department. The sales department has some wild "inflation" pricing on new/ used cars. Wes was awesome. I came in with no appointment and he was able to get my battery replaced under warranty within a few hours. They even gave me a free car wash (unlike Camelback Toyota's whose service department's car wash apparently stopped working when Covid began). read more

Meanwhile, two other employees were standing in the back talking and completely ignoring the fact that I was standing there. Not even a simple "we'll be right with you" or "thanks for your patience"--just nothing. A little acknowledgment goes a long way, and this location had none. Eventually, one guy came to the front and said "next customer." I walked up and said, "just a few questions--do you guys turn rotors?" His response was, "like go out to the parking lot and mess with them? No." I had to explain to him that "turning rotors" means resurfacing them. Apparently AutoZone doesn't offer that service, which is fine, but the lack of basic knowledge was surprising. Then I asked how much the tool rental was for a brake caliper compressor. He had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. This is a common tool that many people ask for when buying brake pads. Most AutoZone employees at least know basic car parts, even if the service is slow. This location was bad at both. Customer service here was nonexistent and the staff seemed poorly trained. I will not be returning to this location.

I was in and out in under two hours. While they had it up on the lift, they replaced four hangers and made sure the 3" exhaust pipes in my 66 GTO were still positioned correctly. No noises from suspension travel, and sounds perfect. It's good to see the next generation performing great work.

I know this, because I had to go under my own vehicle and torque the nuts to spec after driving 500 miles, which is recommended. I mentioned this at the time of install and the guy told me that they would be able to handle it for me for FREE when the time came, which I think should be expected considering that every new exhaust should have this treatment. Instead, when I called back they told me that I would have to pay, and then couldn't even give me a straight quote. I was only able to reach two of the nuts on the exhaust, but they didn't need any tightening luckily. Here's to hoping that any other nuts are torqued to spec, because I can't afford to be overcharged at this point in my life.

Ok let me tell you my experience with this people. I came here to buy a new car with my nephew and they made soo many promises that they could not deliver and wasted my time. I told them on sunday 3/22 that I would only do a deal if they can insure me that they would get my nephew car and mine together if not I dont want nothing (since the cars were in other dealerships) Bob the GM said thats fine since they could insure me that they could get my nephew car but mine they would tell me Monday for sure if not they would give me my down payment (6,000) back and when Chris the finance got us I told him what Bob said. Chris said well if Bob said that then thats ok. So we paid and everything then Bob said he would get on it tomorrow morning(monday) and keep me updated. When tomorrow came not even my sale lady msg me. I had to msg her to know the updated and when I just told her to cancel everything since I was wasting alot of time with them.Bob finally called me to give me a update at 4pm Monday. What Bob was telling me were excuses that the person that did the trading wasnt there and blah blah blah but that they would still work on it to get me the car I want. At that point I was tired of it all and told him if there was anything we are getting for waiting? and all he said was what do you mean?? So I told him I want him to just cancel everything and want my money back he started to guilt trip me by telling me my nephew gonna be sad and this and that I just told him my nephew was ok with it that I just want my money back and he finally said ok. So I just waited for the next day to go over there. On Tuesday the 24 they called me at 11am that they secure the car I wanted when I already told them that I want them to cancel everything the day before and he try make me feel bad for my nephew and I reminded him again that me and my nephew agree if we both dont get the cars we want, we dont want it and that we already wasted to much time with them and all I want now is the money back at that point he laugh and said I dont know about that and hang up. I left work early and drove over there and when I got there I ask for him by name and he did not have the balls so go talk to me. He send me the finance guy who did the paper work on sunday to talk to me and I explain everything to him and reminded him what Bob said then they send Chris Lopez that was more respectful he just went right to it which I felt better. He said that because they have to retract the contract but they will take 300 off the 6k which i was never told by bob or anything but I was done with this already i rather lose 300 then the rest. Chris said he would have the check ready by the next day( Wednesday).. when Wednesday came my nephew went to get the check and they said the main boss wasnt there to sign the check another excuse to dont give me my money. Chris then ask that tomorrow forsure the check will be ready and that if I want it deliver at my house or I could go get it so I said I want it deliver which he said he will deliver it the next day( Thursday) when Thursday came i decided to wait to see if Chris keeps his word and turn out no one deliver it or any update. So I decided to give them one last chance I txt Chris at 5am and he finally txt me at 11am that the check was ready right when I said ill start processing legal action. This is the worst dealership dont come here. I will be reporting this to the BBB as well as sending a letter to the state attorney General. This dealership are scammers and just try to push for your money when you tell them you dont want it. hopefully this dont happen to anyone else. read more

I highly recommend this place to everyone that's looking a new and pre-own car, I recently bought a car for river-view but it wasn't really easy, because I'm a first time buyer. These guys went all out! But I mean they bent forward and backwards to get me a great deal. Since I'm a first time buyer every dealer wasn't really trying to help they would just offer cars I wasn't looking for or they simply say, "we can't offer you anything unless you have a co-signer or a really large down payment, but I recommend you to get a pre-own to start off". One thing too they still wanted a large down payment so I gave up for a while searching for a cars, then I decided to go to a Toyota dealer which they offered me a great deal and they gave the car the paperwork they took my down payment, and I even got insurance for the car. Pretty much I thought the car was mine but 2 days later they called me to return the car, I was like what? I thought It was mine, the financial lady just "well unless you someone to cosign then it's yours, else we need you to bring back the car", so I did and I was really bummed out, so again I gave up for a while searching. One day I was searching again and bumped into the dealers website and no bull, I just wanted to know the price of a pretty own, because I decided to take the other dealers ships advise. The young lady Lorenza kept calling to make an appointment to talk about the offers and deal so one day I woke up had plenty of time and no encouragement to go but I said "what the heck what can I lose, so I called her and said I was on my way, and we previously discuss about a pre own car I like 'Corolla S' 2014. So I told her my story what happened on my experience at a different toyota dealer ship and she said, "well lets first get you approved to know what can we offer you", which I though that was a great idea better then promising me I was approved, so I was introduced to the sales man Tony who was going to take care of me,he is a really great guy, funny, very cool guy always checking up on me and letting me know what was going on. He helped me and guiding me in everything, then lucky me two of the financial Managers that were there, they went all out and out their way to make it happened, not only did I get great deal but I ended up getting a brand New 2017 Toyota Corolla. I'm really happy with my car and the deal. I thank this guys soo much for everything they did. It took a lot but they manage to earn my business. DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. I previously wrote a five star review for this dealership, because they were so nice and caring for me when I was buying this car for my boyfriend. why wouldn't they be? They're getting loads of money from me! all they care about is that check, they'll tell you to your face that you are family and whatever happens to the car, if anything, they will fix it because they truly care about their customers. That's a fat lie. They offered to drive my car back to my house for me the day I bought it, which has never happened to me before, I thought that was really nice of them. The stupid idiot who was driving it back to my house SMASHED the gas pedal and flew by my mom and I on the freeway going about 80-90 mph. Um, I just bought this car and you're driving it like it's yours, not okay. So, the car is in my driveway and my boyfriend and I take it around the block and we come back to find two giant oil puddles in the driveway. We call the dealership the next day and explain the issue and they tell us to bring it in, we bring it in and they're like, "okay, we'll fix it. so sorry". Two days go by, they're like, "Hey, car is all finished up, come grab it" My boyfriend and I drive over and everything looks great. NOPE. My boyfriend is driving it down the street and the check engine light comes on. So, keeping in mind my boyfriend is VERY into cars and knows just about everything there is to know. So, he tells the service department what may be causing this issue. They say, "oh okay! we're looking into it. don't worry! we're here to help" So, about three days go by and we get the car back, everything seems to look good and it drives perfect. FINALLY! Just to make sure everything checks out we take it to a very reputable shop to have it looked at. The shop has it for the day and calls us back and says, "Hey, so your engine is blown". ARE YOU ACTUALLY KIDDING ME. We have had this car for a WEEK and two days and have probably driven is a whopping 4 hours, the rest of the time it's been in the stupid dealership's service department. So, my boyfriend is driving the car to the dealership from the shop we took it to and THE MOTOR BLOWS AND THE CAR SHUTS OFF ON THE MAIN ROAD AND HE ALMOST GETS HIT BY ANOTHER CAR AND LOSES HIS LIFE. ALL BECAUSE THIS STUPID DEALERSHIP SOLD US A CAR WITH A BLOWN FUCKING MOTOR. AND THEY ARE NOW TRYING TO BLAME US AND SAY IT IS OUR FAULT IT BLEW. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS SHADY BUSINESS. read more

What a MISERABLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!! 1) Paul the sales person uses a different last name vs. his actual (so what's up with that?). 2) Test drive - was only allowed to drive about 4 miles, which is really lame. 3) Nine and a half hours to reach a mediocre deal, really mediocre deal :( 4) After sale really pushed to make sure I have him 'full points' on the survey, actually tried to read it to me there so I couldn't give him anything other than full points. 5) Took more than 4 weeks to get registration/license; I left two VM's, one with Paul and one with their 'registration person' - NEVER received a call back. 6) Emailed and called Paul two other times about questions on the seating comfort, head rests (2018 Camry headrests suck by the way) NEVER got a response. However, 7 weeks after I had purchased my care, this guy leaves me a voice mail saying "Hi, It's Paul, just wanted to check and make sure everything is fine with the new Camry you bought 3 days ago"...gimme a break.... 7) I agreed to financing, although I wanted to pay in cash, in order to save $400 buck...what a waste of time. Finance guy 'forgot' to put my apt number in the loan app so I never got my bill. Called them twice and they finally told me to come into the dealership to pay the bill, but when I got there they told me I could only pay the monthly, not the full balance. So I called Toyota Financial (they were nice) and had them fax me the statement at Riverview. That took about an hour...and you gotta love this, I was told I couldn't wait in the office, I had to sit outside. They screwed up, I had to wait outside. 8) Pay the full amount that night. Call to confirm and am told there is a balance of $58 for interest. I protest that stating that I was told no interest if paid before first due date. They disagreed...fine. But since the finance guy Travis didn't include my apt, the interest on the loan is now twice what it would have been if I rec'd the bill on time and paid then. Also, when I did pay it off, the Toyota Financial Services person didn't give me the correct payoff amount. So the moral of the story is: Riverview Toyota's customer service is lousy...I mean REALLY LOUSY. If you are thinking about a Toyota (this is my third) make sure you go to Superstition Springs...Buying a new car is supposed to be a happy time...Paul and Travis totally ruined it for me.... read more

I spent a good month and half of stress and anxiety trying to work with dealerships all over the area who would question my intelligence, overly complicate deals in hopes of me not catching where they were scamming me out of money, and become upset with me wanting to call my dad and brother to help me review the numbers and the deals. As a young woman going into all of these dealerships alone, I was treated sub-human, dumb, and many of them tried pressuring me into making deals that I didn't want to make (as in faking that the car I wanted was about to be sold by moving it in the showroom and saying "you need to hurry up" - that car is still for sale today as I'm writing this). I was referred to Berge Toyota by a friend and I will literally never go anywhere else for as long as I live in Arizona. I spoke originally with Chris Lopez and Nate Dunlap, but worked directly with Haylee Fisher, James Haas, and Chris Chavez. Everyone worked as a team and collaborated to make sure I got the best deal possible. They truly put my situation and my needs first above all. At one point I even asked THEM, "are you sure you want to do this?" because I had never seen a better deal and was shocked at what they were able to do for me. At Berge Toyota, they put the customer first and that was very evident from the start of me working with them. They value honesty and fairness and I was treated truly like family by Haylee, James, and Chris. There were no "gotchas" in the numbers, no scams, and everything was very simple and straightforward. The appraisal they gave me on my Subaru that I traded in was $5,000 more than other dealership offers. I walked out of Berge Toyota not having to put any additional cash down on a car AND getting the maintenance and warranty package included in my extremely low monthly price on a used Nissan Altima. Not only was the deal great, but the car is in great condition and it was very clear that they only take in cars that are worth it for other customers to buy. I cannot recommend Berge Toyota enough and I can guarantee that ANY staff member you work with at Berge Toyota will adhere to the standards of respect, honesty, and care that Haylee, James, and Chris gave me. AGAIN, WHAT A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE 11/8/2021 Again & Again (4 times now) Berge's Riverview Toyota has come through for my family! TRAVIS WOODARD who is the Finance Manager for Berge's Riverview Toyota has done it again. I have actually bought now my last Four automobiles from Riverview Toyota, and the experience is always such a pleasure. This purchase was actually even easier and better than the last, as I went in to do my maintenance on my 2021Venza Hybrid at Berge's Riverview Toyota as I have such trust in their Maintenance Department, and my advisor (Brian) was able without me knowing contacted Travis (Finance Manager) who immediately came to me and wondered if I had ever considered the 2021 RAV 4 Hybrid (SUV)? As my experience with Travis has been so easy and pleasurable for the last 3 automobiles I purchased with him, I said if he can make the new purchase affordable for my family I would consider purchasing the new 2021 RAV 4 Hybrid and trading in the 2021 Venza. WOW, he was right! Travis assisted by his expert team Drew Costa, another fantastic salesperson working directly with Travis, walked me through the new 2021 RAV 4 Hybrid, including the difference in financing options, and because I drive so many miles for my job, the change actually made so much sense. I have never met a person like Travis, as everything he does is so understanding and caring with everyone he meets! He exudes such trust that you feel like you have known him for years, and he follows through with everything he says he will make happen, which is something I have never experienced in any other purchase. My family knows that if Travis suggests that the car needs to be repaired or if there is a new car that fits our needs better than what we have now, we trust him that he is there to protect our family throughout all experiences of owning or in this case buying an automobile. Buyer Beware!! I usually don't post reviews online. I know everyone has there own opinion of how good or bad a place can be. I felt if I could save at least one person, the nightmare I went through with Riverview Toyota, It would be worth it. I received a quote from Chris Lopez, the internet manager. I also received a quote from other dealerships that were within a few dollars a month from each other. I ended up leasing a 2015 Highlander from Riverview. Everything about the deal was fine until I got into finance. We told Travis Woodward, the finance manager we don't want anything added. He said that's fine and proceeded to tell me how important the survey I am about to receive is to the dealer. When I signed the contract, he explained it's all electronic now. It get's uploaded directly to Toyota. I signed everything on a little screen. The last thing he showed me was my lease payment. It was exactly what Chris Lopez and I agreed to. When I finished signing, I asked him for copies. Travis said, It's all uploaded to Toyota. I didn't think much of it and figured I could just get it off the Toyota website. When I received my Toyota statement 3 weeks later, the payment was $60 higher per month. I called Chris and Travis immediately, they both said oh no, I don't know what happened. Travis added on gap insurance and a tire and wheel protection package at over $1600. Travis told me I could cancel it and I would only get funded to the end of my lease. I told them this was a scam and I want my contract rewritten. Travis said Rich, the General Manager refused to rewrite the contract. They also stop returning phone calls as others on Yelp have said. I have worked and purchased many vehicles from Brent Berge's dealerships over the years. They are always top notch dealerships. Never, did I expect this kind of treatment with a Berge owned dealership. They also have an F Better Business Bureau rating. Once you purchase a vehicle from Riverview Toyota, they truly do not care about you anymore. If you still chose to purchase a vehicle from Riverview Toyota, you better make certain that you get a copy of the contract and make sure you read everything over. 7-11-2014 THE "ACE" SALES TEAM, THE GM, THE FINANCE MANAGER AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE LAISON....... GET NO STARS ON THIS SCAM pulled on April 24, 2014. I can't believe other customers are using my adjectives to describe the TEAM and the EXPERIENCE, i.e.; Bully, FRAUD, Complaint filed with the Attorney General's office.., etc. You get the jest - my financial rape took only 4 hours. I did file with the BBB, Attorney General's office, Consumer Protection office and Channel 3 to give a full account. Describing experiences like .... the changes "somebody" made on my credit app. I disclosed to the sales%#!& that I pay $1020 in rent (provided proof) and $400 is on the copy of the app I picked up a week later. I had to know WHY I got 10 denial letters in the mail, yet Toyota Financial believes I can make this payment. Then there is the carbon paper used to get more than 1 document signed at a time, I was spared the boring job of going over the finance details' THAT IS WHAT MIKE, the Finance Manager said to me! haveI never authorized the sales price, trade-in value given, 2 extended warranties sold to me that I knew NOTHING about, at $3000, interest rate at 15%, all closing finance documents were not even given to me to review - I found them in the glove box!!! There was no Buyers Guide or Car Fax given (prior ownership was a RENTAL friggin' AGENCY)!! How do you spell L A W S U I T? What I am really trying to say is PLEASE, DON'T SIGN-UP FOR THIS EXPERIENCE! I've had the pleasure of purchasing 2 new Toyota's at other dealerships, prior to this. This has made me physically ill. I am losing this car and for the first time in my 58 year life, I have no transportation. After losing my home, having IRA funds stolen, foreclosed rentals, going through a divorce, and moving to AZ alone, I never could have written the screen play for this act. I was fortunate to have owned a car --- I've had to sleep in it. Today, for the first time, I fear the future. THANKS ALL TO DARRIN DELFELDER"S TEAM, MY FAITH IN PEOPLE IS TRULY SHAKEN. I bought a '22 Toyota Tundra and had it customized at the dealership (wheels/tires, lift, clear front end bra, bed cover, etc.). Needless to say, I loved the truck. About 3 months ago, I was driving home on the freeway and the truck locked up on me. I was able to make it home and then to the dealership. As luck would have it, it was a Friday and I already had an appointment set up for that Saturday to get the trucks second oil change. Yes, second..it only had 13,000 miles. Turns out, the Tundra was part of the massive recall from Toyota and the engine needed to be replaced. Josh in the service department was great, I was given a rental vehicle and was updated often. The parts were on backorder and the truck had been at the dealership for 3+ months. I was paying for a truck that I wasn't able to drive. Honestly, I didn't want it anymore. I felt that this problem was always going to be attached to the truck, even if fixed. This past Sunday, I went down there and told them how I felt and wanted to know what my options were. I had no problems with Toyota or buying their products again. The first to greet me was Scot P., the salesman and I explained my situation. He then brought me to Patrick, the manager and reiterated my feelings. The first thing he asked was, "How can we make you happy?" Long story short, they put me in a 2024 Tundra, with all the accessories I had on the last truck, they gave me a better interest rate, which was already good and even lowered my payment a little. No hassle, no fuss, no excuses...nothing. It took a huge weight off my chest, because I didn't think it would go as easy as it did. I just would like to thank not only Brent Berge's Riverview Toyota for their excellent service in helping us make our own very first purchase of a new car, but also to Jonathan and Christopher Chavez in financing. We had previously gotten a lease on a 2017 Yaris IA back in 2017, as my used infiniti was already giving us issues and with the desert heat and a car not turning on, being stranded wasn't an option. We unfortunately didn't have enough for a purchase at the time, so we went with a lease. Seeing we put a lot of miles on the car with our frequent trips to California, we were about to approach 36k miles a year before our lease would end. We went back to Brent Berge's Toyota dealer to see what they could help us out with, after being in contact with Jonathan. Even though we had gone very high in miles in our leased Yaris, and despite certain fee's and penalties that would eventually be our responsibility to pay for, after much help, patience, and working hard for us, Christopher & Jonathan were able to get us into a brand new 2019 Yaris as a purchase, with a low down payment, low monthly payment, and even were able to eat up the costs of the leased 2017 Yaris. Buying a new car is not an easy feat sometimes and can be stressful, and although it was somewhat the case for my bride and I, they made it very easy, were straightforward with the information, allowed us to ask as many questions as possible, and gave us a lot of wiggle room to get something that was not so costly, brand new, and economical. Thank you all for your exceptional help, I know Jesus appreciates the hard work you all do for the multitudes, and I pray that you all continue to put forth the hard work and dedication to each and every customer, God bless! read more

Where do I start? If I could give this place a zero star rating I would, I have never been to a more despicable place. I came here to purchase a car I saw online as soon as I saw the car I fell in love. The sales man Ricardo didn't seem to know what he was doing the whole time but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and went through with the purchase. I gave a trade in and $2000 down. I asked Ricardo multiple times the night of the purchase if I could bring the trade in that same night but he declined saying bring it tomorrow. Long story short 5 days later they backed out on the deal saying my car was not drivable. Weirdly enough I drive my car there Sunday morning with no issues. When I took the purchased vehicle back mind You I lost a day of work I'm 8 month pregnant I received the worst customer service. Not one ounce of decency or an I'm sorry nothing what so ever. All Ricardo said was where are the keys to the Camry took them not even acknowledging his big mess up. As I was standing in the hot sun everyone involved was outside checking on the Camry and yet no one even acknowledged me or gave me my keys to my trade in. When I finally found someone to help me with my trade ins keys they said we don't know where they are at. I was there for and hour while running around myself trying to locate someone who would help. This place ruined my day so sad to see such a big car dealer have zero respect and zero human decency I hate this place! read more

We all know going to a car lot can be intimidating. From the moment we walked into Berge's Riverview Toyota the staff were so helpful and inviting. If you are surfing around looking at reviews because you are in the market for a new/used vehicle, put your device down and head over to Riverview Toyota and ask for Mr. Aaron Upchurch. If you were wondering no, he is not related to the infamous Ryan Upchurch, but he is still pretty great. He was recommended to us by a friend/ a previous customer of his and let me tell you what he went above and beyond for us! My husband, I, and our rambunctious toddler, were in the market for a used 4runner. We test drove a great one when I saw THE ONE. It is absolutely the best vehicle I have ever had! From the moment we decided that that was the one Ryan, and his coworkers made the buying experience so painless. They gave us a great deal on our trade in and worked with us on giving the best deals possible. We were in and out of there in no time. Which is amazing because we all know having a toddler in a car lot for hours in exhausting. Ryan and the staff made us feel like genuine family (the good kind, not the family you dread seeing). A 5 star review I feel like is not enough they deserve all the best praise. Tell the big man these people need a raise! read more

After having a terrible experience from purchase to service at another dealership I won't name but rhymes with BotoNation I decided to wander over to Riverview Toyota and I am so glad I did! The manager of the service department, Vince Medina as well as the Asst. Manager Zach (can't remember his last name, sorry Zach) were so attentive and helped address the issues I had been having with my Highlander. They are so thorough in fact that Zach remembered me mentioning I missed my old Tacoma and wanted to get one again after finding I needed the hauling ability more than I realized. My info was passed on to Joe Fiacco and Paul Sarpad in the sales department and shortly thereafter a Tacoma in the model I wanted was traded in and guess who got the call? Yup, it was me!! Whoot whoot!! The best part is I got the vehicle I wanted, got what I wanted for my trade in, paid what was fair for the pick up and got better financing than I could from my credit union! That is a win win win win I'd say!!! I already referred them to a friend that is in the market for a new car because I know they will be taken care of and not be taken advantage of. I'm very pleased with my new Toyota RAV4 XLE! I appreciate the transparency when buying a new vehicle! I went on Sunday and had plenty of individual service from Michael, Steve and the finance person who's name I forgot. I am thrilled that they gave me the trade in value on my Tacoma, plus the $3000 rebate, and there was a tax break included in that. I did agree to the long term extended warranty, although in the past I've had a bad experience with a previous dealership and their warranty company. Luckily, this time the warranty is through Toyota, and I was able to get an extended warranty that covers all maintenance for 8 years/75k (I don't drive much so will probably never get to the 75K before the warranty expires!). I ended up getting a higher priced vehicle since it had loads of new safety features and it drives like a dream! I have been a customer of Riverview for a long time, and they get high marks for customer satisfaction and service. Although I do agree with a previous reviewer that the service department tends to be slow and takes too long! At least they provide donuts and coffee! read more

I had a wonderful experience buying my 2024 Toyota Camry SE at Berge Toyota. I received a VIP treatment. They know their Toyotas. My Product Specialist, Mr. Elijah Vargas, was a top-notch salesman, very knowledgeable and very professional. The Berge Toyota Financial team Mr. Scott Henkle, Mr. Chris Lopez, and Mr. Moreno along with Elijah Vargas went above and beyond to make my purchase experience a delight. I went to see a Toyota Cross, but when this model did not fit my lifestyle, the Berge Team showed me different cars like a fashion show until I decided on the 2024 Camry SE. They were very patient with me especially with my car must have specifications. Berge General Manager, Mr. John Stanley, a great businessman, saw my potential as a pre-approved buyer and supported his team with my requests so they could finalize the sale. Elijah Vargas and another coworker brought my 2024 Camry SE to Vail, AZ near Tucson. I received a white glove treatment. Overall, It was an exceptional experience buying my car at Berge Toyota. Bought my husband's new RAV 4 Hybrid limited from Orlando Church at Riverview Toyota last week. We chose to visit Riverview and Orlando first since two years ago we got a great deal on my 2014 Toyota Avalon Hybrid and this dealership's service department is excellent. I was also impressed that two years later each time I am in for service, Orlando checks to see if I needed anything. After driving the RAV4 Hybrid limited, my husband quickly determined this was the vehicle for him. Orlando made the car buying experience easy. He worked with us to get us the most for our old trade and to get us a great offer for the RAV4. At that point, there was no need to look further -- we purchased the vehicle. When we were ready to leave with our new car, Orlando took the time to explain all of the car's features in detail to my husband and me. I highly recommend Riverview Toyota and Orlando Church. I also recommend the Toyota Hybrid line of vehicle; they are all exceptional. If you are looking for a Toyota, give Orlando a call and he will take good care of you! read more

I had car trouble on my vehicle and had to take it to a shop where they informed me my engine needed to be replaced and was gonna cost around $6000. I was not able to afford that cost and needed a vehicle immediately for commuting to work. I had already called off from work due to not having transportation and was told the vehicle wouldn't be tended to by the auto shop until a week later even then it wasn't definite how much longer it would take to get fixed. I was in a dilemma. So I called around to dealerships and Riverview Toyota was the only dealership willing to work with me. The agent Robert Hill who assisted me and my spouse was very kind and understanding. He was very honest and upfront about that to expect and asked what we needed. He was able to relay the needs on budget and what we could afford. He got us into a brand new 2021 Toyota Camry. They didn't force us into something we did not want. A huge relief was lifted from our shoulders and they gave us a reliable vehicle. Took a 2012 Hyundai Sonata off our hands. Highly recommend this dealership. read more

This place is horrible! They add so much stuff into the financing. After getting home and reading the contract I realized I am paying for theft protection and extended warranty. Good luck on trying to get a hold of Mike Powell. Never returns phone calls. I have left several messages. So nice to you before you sign the papers. BetterBusiness Beero give an F rating. I am filing a complaint with the attorney generals office for unfair bs pratizes. They will tell You that your payment will be cheaper than your current psyment. They add so many extras that the don't tell you about. Mike Powell is terrible. No one returns calls. I went in to try to talk to him but they tell u he is not there. Matter of fact. I even tried talking to the people the desk in the back only to be told they can't help. When you are purchaseing your car they are so kind. Buyer beware!! From talking to a friend the Sttorny generAl is the only way to get help! Just go somewhere else. read more
