He proceeded to charge me the full amount that was quoted for both repair and link removal. When I questioned him, he became very disrespectful and rude and short tempered. He ended up discounting after lengthy conversation and he grabbed my card out of my hand to make payment. Although I support small businesses, I will never go back again to this store, the owner exhibits a lack professionalism that should be present, regardless of the size of the store or organization.

As it turns out they have a new policy that voids your Warranty if you haven't brought your rings in to be serviced every six months. They wouldn't honor their old warranty. One watch wasn't working at all and the second one just needed to be cleaned on the inside to get it to start working. Mr Kim quoted me 495.00 to repair the broken piece in my grandmothers watch, and quoted me 150 dollars to clean the inside of the other watch. He said the broken watch is very old and they don't make the parts anymore. Indeed it is from about 1935 but I was not expecting that price. I was shocked at the price he quoted me. I called my normal jeweler, Naranjo jewelers off of Hoadly road and they have a watchmaker that repairs their watches who comes in a few days a week. Today was one of the days he comes in. I left the broken watch with them and they called within 4 hours and quoted me 180.00 to repair the broken piece. That is quite a difference. The only thing that needed to be replaced was this circle piece that snapped on the inside of the watch. I asked Naranjo why the price is so different and they said I honestly cannot tell you because it's a very easy fix. If you need a watch repair please skip over this place and call NARANJO JEWELERS. They are another small jewelry/repair place and they are the most honest and sweetest people ever. Do not trust K Watch. Very disappointed.

Yes, that's dumb. We made an in home appointment with Sam who is friendly and respectful, wears shoe covers and a mask. He got right to work taking the works out and checking everything inside. Surprisingly the clock wasn't dirty but desperately needed oil. Delaying oiling it caused some minor wear on 2 gears. But he said it's not enough to need replacement or repair. I wouldn't have known the difference if he had said it did but he was honest. He oiled it, answered all my many questions as he worked and was done in 30 minutes. He asked if we would like to make an appointment for an oiling in 2 years! If you sign up for routine maintenance the price is discounted. And I need reminders! My friend had an appointment same day. Her clock needed some repairs but his estimate was way less than other clock repairs we've had done in the past. He is in great demand and has a few months wait for repairs to be completed but it'll be done right and with quality parts some of which he hand makes.
