Same as other couples - venue speaks volumes when it comes to a wedding or event…read more The Ranch was the last Wedgewood Wedding site my fiance and I decided to tour and thankfully we were already smitten by the photos and videos - however they do not do this place justice. The team to boot are experts in their craft - very open to communication and know how to roll with mishaps. I loved communicating with them - everything was easy - when it came to my random questions through late night texts, my list of concerns via email - they were thorough and addressed them all. No stone was left unturned for this type A, eldest sister, only daughter bride. I highly recommend having whatever event you want at The Ranch. The views are spectacular, their team is on point, the interior is wonderful and the layout is so easy to sneak away but to also have your large group photo. Though more expensive than other sites - they are WORTH IT.

We were about 95% sold on one in Napa but had one last appointment at The Ranch at Silver Creek. I was hesitant and almost canceled but my husband convinced me to go check it out. AND I AM SO GLAD I LISTENED TO HIM! We both fell in love with the venue. It literally had everything we were looking for: a scenic outdoor ceremony site with a backup plan if it rained (since our wedding was in March), separate area for the cocktail hour, a nice reception hall, a HUGE bar, a patio and ample parking. Plus it was close to home for planning and our families coming from out of the country. Not only was it the venue that did it for us, it was the wedding team at The Ranch at Silver Creek. We met with Ingrid who was the absolute best and was one of the huge reasons we booked it. (Sadly, she is no longer there and doing her own thing!) Yet, the team still was amazing throughout the whole process. The planning was made easy and getting into contact with them was quick with fast response times. The customization of the package, being able to choose the foods, (SO GOOD!), the 8 assorted salads and prime rib were the hit of the party!! Being able to add anything we wanted or take out made this whole planning experience so easy. The only complaint I had was there was a couple appointments where they gave us the wrong time/date so we would have to call in to confirm but that was it! Coming down to the day of, our wedding coordinator and banquet captain were, Nicole and Megan. I cannot express how much my husband and I loved their support to make the big day what we wanted. Nicole was AMAZING! She made the whole day so comfortable, knew what I wanted before I did, and even though we were a little late with getting them our decorations, she made it happen! Her energy and positive vibe made it so fun for my wedding party! I did not want her to leave because I felt like I wouldn't know what to do without her but she had everything down to the tea! Megan was also AMAZING! She handled everything till the end with our decorations, making sure we were taken care of and handled the little details. She also had the help of Olivia who was also very sweet and attentive to us. I was telling everyone that night they need to book their wedding here just because of these women! It was great to have them there for the extra support especially on a big day. They truly care to see you are having the best experience, staying hydrated and fed but also comfortable. I keep telling my husband that I want to relive this moment with the same exact people because it truly was such a beautiful and fun night! You will not go wrong with booking this venue!!

What more can be said about Garrod Farms that hasn't already been felt by so many? For countless…read moreriders, this is the place where we first sat on a horse, felt the excitement of riding, and created memories that will last a lifetime. Garrod Farms is more than a barn--it is a place filled with joy, friendship, and an unmistakable sense of community. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the positive energy that surrounds the property. It truly feels like a place from a dream. One of my greatest fears is the thought of this special place ever disappearing, because it has become home to so many families, riders, and horse lovers. The Garrod family deserves tremendous recognition for everything they do. This is a true family-owned and operated business, built through hard work, dedication, and genuine passion. There is always someone on the property working on improvements, maintaining the grounds, or finding ways to make the experience even better for everyone. The amount of effort required to care for such a large facility is extraordinary, and their commitment never goes unnoticed. The farm offers some of the best arena footing in the area, beautiful indoor and outdoor arenas, and direct access to miles of scenic trails where riders can relax and enjoy time with their horses. It is a safe and welcoming environment that has been serving children, families, and equestrians for generations. Their horseback riding lessons, whether private or group, are exceptional and suitable for riders of all experience levels. They also offer some of the best vaulting lessons in the area, giving students a unique opportunity to develop balance, confidence, athleticism, and horsemanship in a fun and supportive environment. The horse camps are among the best around, and the only complaint anyone seems to have is that they fill up too quickly. The local horse shows provide riders with valuable opportunities and motivation, while the boarding program offers quality care at a reasonable price. Special events for boarders create an even stronger sense of community and make being part of Garrod Farms feel truly special. Beyond the horses, the winery adds another layer of charm. Great music, beautiful scenery, and wonderful people make it a place where memories are created and shared. There is always a sense of warmth and happiness in the air. Garrod Farms is more than a facility--it is home. It is a place where friendships are formed, confidence is built, and dreams begin. God bless Jan, Vicky, Cory, and the entire Garrod family for everything they do. Their dedication has touched the lives of so many people, and their contributions to the community deserve recognition and support every single day.

I was easily able to book a private guided ride with just the two of us and an expert rider. Our guide was so nice and equipped us with everything we needed to have a safe, but fun trip. It was a reasonably priced experience and absolutely worth it!

Yes, they always put sales prices up in most visible areas and the new year products are always tempting to buy. Good tasting snacks/chocolates/gummies/biscuits/cookies and more. I never had any problems checking out on weekdays. Staffs are always busy and helpful. Good management onsite. This location has much more varieties of foods and snacks to offer. I can find stuff here that are unavailable elsewhere. Note, the BBQ wonton and noodle soup area is still one of the best tasting ones that I have visited. I feel good coming here to shop each time. Good food vibes. I ended up buying a large red bag of rice crackers $8.88, orange/tangerine gummy candy in an orange container (best flavor not authentic), plum candy, seaweed crackers, and small snacks. Satisfied. He even goes above and beyond to help advocate for the safety of those who ride out to the Open Space trails by communicating with both Open Space and Santa Clara County representatives about the relationship between vehicle vs. equestrian transportation along the street leading into the trailhead. Tyler often works from sun up to sun down. Often working to improve the quality and comfort of the facility. You will find it difficult to come across someone who is harder working or more honest than Tyler! To top it off, it's rare to see him without a smile on his face. Heck, it's rare to see any of the horse owners out at CCR without a smile on their faces! One of the few facilities whose boarders welcome new arrivals with invites to join trail rides, dinner outings, and other extracurricular activities! The trainer there is barely an intermediate rider, so if you have a difficult horse, or are serious about riding go elsewhere. The arena also has terrible footing. Drama is the same as any other barn. The trail is nice, but has only one loop trail so it gets old very quickly.
