After taking a few tours, we knew The Ranch was the one for us. It is a beautiful venue and a convenient location as many of our folks are in the Bay Area. The drive there is also very easy and the venue has a large parking lot for guests. From the moment we booked for a tour to signing contract with The Ranch with Wedgewood, everything ran so smoothly. Communication was easy and efficient with the team here. They responded to all my emails within a day. They also did occasional check in to make sure we were on track of things and see if we needed help with anything. I felt like the team here are passionate with their job as it showed in the care, kindness, responsiveness, and diligence with their time and communication with us. Coming from a couple with full time jobs and other obligations and as someone who hates planning, Wedgewood all-inclusive was absolutely worth it. Planning our wedding was almost stress-free and so easy. And although it is all-inclusive, we were still able to customize our package any ways we wanted. On the day of our wedding, Nicole was our day of coordinator. She was so fun and amazing to work with. I appreciated that she checked in to see how we were doing while making sure that things were moving along as scheduled. Our wedding day operated so well because of her professionalism and enthusiasm. Our Banquet Captain Jasmine was amazing too. After Nicole left from her shift, I got a bit sad and nervous but felt much better when Jasmine took over. She was so sweet and just like Nicole, she managed everything well while making sure if we were doing ok. Our guests had such a great time because our DJ Aaron hyped up the crowd with fun energy. The food was AMAZING too. We opted for buffet that came with 6 appetizers, 8 assorted salads, steamed vegetables, mashed potatoes, bread and butter, and 3 proteins. Beef carving station was a hit. There was SO MUCH food!!! Shoutout to Tyler and Eduardo who were our chefs that day! Our guests also complimented on how beautiful the venue is with the bay area city view. Absolutely beautiful place for wedding photos. We are forever grateful and will truly miss the team here who made our big day so beautiful and perfect. Thank you again.

The team to boot are experts in their craft - very open to communication and know how to roll with mishaps. I loved communicating with them - everything was easy - when it came to my random questions through late night texts, my list of concerns via email - they were thorough and addressed them all. No stone was left unturned for this type A, eldest sister, only daughter bride. I highly recommend having whatever event you want at The Ranch. The views are spectacular, their team is on point, the interior is wonderful and the layout is so easy to sneak away but to also have your large group photo. Though more expensive than other sites - they are WORTH IT.

She was delightful and engaging while I was waiting for my friends and told her about some special needs for one individual which she did a perfect job assisting. We had a variety of specialty drinks - all tasty. We had the fried tempura battered string beans appetizer which comes with a zesty sauce. Entrees included lamp chips, truffle fries, and a couple of orders of the pappardelle pasta and braised short ribs. Too full for dessert but another special martini and coffee. From the moment we checked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and making a reservation about a month in advance definitely paid off since the restaurant was packed. For starters, we ordered the fried chicken & cornbread and the summer peach salad. The chicken and cornbread were easily a 10/10 super crispy, well seasoned, and the cornbread was rich and buttery. The peach salad with friend goat cheese (YUM!) was really fresh and bright, a nice lighter dish to balance out everything else. I also had a glass of rose. For mains, we had the Prime Ribeye and the 7oz Harris Ranch Prime Filet, both cooked exactly how we asked and full of flavor. We shared a bottle of Duckhorn cab, and I appreciated that their wine list felt reasonably priced for the quality. We corked what we didn't finished and took it home. The only slight downside was our table being in a bit of a funky spot along a walkway, but service was attentive enough that it never really became a problem. Overall, I'd absolutely come back, and next time I'm saving room for dessert.

What more can be said about Garrod Farms that hasn't already been felt by so many? For countless…read moreriders, this is the place where we first sat on a horse, felt the excitement of riding, and created memories that will last a lifetime. Garrod Farms is more than a barn--it is a place filled with joy, friendship, and an unmistakable sense of community. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the positive energy that surrounds the property. It truly feels like a place from a dream. One of my greatest fears is the thought of this special place ever disappearing, because it has become home to so many families, riders, and horse lovers. The Garrod family deserves tremendous recognition for everything they do. This is a true family-owned and operated business, built through hard work, dedication, and genuine passion. There is always someone on the property working on improvements, maintaining the grounds, or finding ways to make the experience even better for everyone. The amount of effort required to care for such a large facility is extraordinary, and their commitment never goes unnoticed. The farm offers some of the best arena footing in the area, beautiful indoor and outdoor arenas, and direct access to miles of scenic trails where riders can relax and enjoy time with their horses. It is a safe and welcoming environment that has been serving children, families, and equestrians for generations. Their horseback riding lessons, whether private or group, are exceptional and suitable for riders of all experience levels. They also offer some of the best vaulting lessons in the area, giving students a unique opportunity to develop balance, confidence, athleticism, and horsemanship in a fun and supportive environment. The horse camps are among the best around, and the only complaint anyone seems to have is that they fill up too quickly. The local horse shows provide riders with valuable opportunities and motivation, while the boarding program offers quality care at a reasonable price. Special events for boarders create an even stronger sense of community and make being part of Garrod Farms feel truly special. Beyond the horses, the winery adds another layer of charm. Great music, beautiful scenery, and wonderful people make it a place where memories are created and shared. There is always a sense of warmth and happiness in the air. Garrod Farms is more than a facility--it is home. It is a place where friendships are formed, confidence is built, and dreams begin. God bless Jan, Vicky, Cory, and the entire Garrod family for everything they do. Their dedication has touched the lives of so many people, and their contributions to the community deserve recognition and support every single day.

She taught me so much, and although I'm definitely not an expert, I can confidently say that I learned how to ride without being scared. Before meeting her, I had never touched a horse, let alone prepared one to ride. Karen was incredibly patient and taught me everything step by step, always making me feel comfortable and confident. I would highly recommend this place. It's definitely worth it! After a few lessons, I remember we would ride up the hills, and the views were absolutely amazing. If you're thinking about taking riding lessons, I highly recommend giving them a try. You'll be in great hands!

Manuel, the owner, is most likely this nicest man you'll ever meet and both himself and his wife are very patient and kind people- always smiling! With the help of Manuel, I scored a awesome lease situation and now pay a very fair price to ride a great horse all month long. He even offered me free tack to use as a loaner until I got all set up with my own gear. The barn and property are clean, tidy, and casual. Beautiful views and trails, and lots of peace and quiet at this location. If you're a positive horse person, you'll love it here...

Tyler often works from sun up to sun down. Often working to improve the quality and comfort of the facility. You will find it difficult to come across someone who is harder working or more honest than Tyler! To top it off, it's rare to see him without a smile on his face. The trainer there is barely an intermediate rider, so if you have a difficult horse, or are serious about riding go elsewhere. The arena also has terrible footing. Drama is the same as any other barn. The trail is nice, but has only one loop trail so it gets old very quickly.
