We are a new customers (July 2025) for pest and mosquito service. After initial mosquito treatment, product was not working, had a between treatment performed, while the product worked, our grass started to die. Contacted Berrett, was advised to upload pictures and concerns. Waited over a week with no response, we decided to treat the grass with Turf Builder. Contacted Berrett and was informed the email provided was outdated, was provided another email, attempted to re-send while speaking with rep, and it bounced back, then was informed that was an old address. We advised Barrett and reiterated ... DO NOT spray the grass at next treatment. Guess what ... video show grass being treated but the 2 buckets not being addressed. Contacted Berrett, was told it was a new technician, conferenced the call with the tech, he apologized, stating he saw only one bucket and was lacking inventory. We suggested maybe a reschedule should have been recommended if lacking inventory. They both agreed. Now another tech is coming out to address the buckets. We are watching our grass very closely. This is too chaotic and request the contract cancelled! We did not sign up for nor want to pay for this sort of pest service chaos! read more

I will say this company had the quickest response time of everyone I called in Austin, which I so appreciated. They got us a day of appointment! The problem was with the technician that was sent out, Russ. We live in a new build & my dad being a builder was hesitant to accept we had termites in our brand new home. My dad voiced some concerns with Russ'. Instead of listening to my dad's concerns Russ got an attitude & said 'well if you don't believe me get another opinion'. Safe to say that attitude lost our business. Again, great response time but when you're going to spend over a thousand on treatment you want to understand everything & ask any & all questions. read more

I contracted Berrett to treat a .98 acre vacant lot. I, explicitly, informed the sales guy Brennan that this was a vacant lot that had chiggers, ants, mosquitos and a host of other insects. I requested the treatment so that a construction crew could begin work on the lot without being inundated with the pest. Brennan informed me that he understood and that they would treat for all the pest for $225.00 and would also add in a mosquito bait box for the low fee of an additional $25.00. After agreeing to the 'one time service,' we scheduled the treatment. The day of the treatment arrives, since it is (again) a vacant lot, I go out to meet the technician they sent, DJ, after receiving a text message indicating he would arrive in 30-45 minutes. Once I arrived, I waited (in my car) long past the specified timeframe. I texted the salesman, Brennan, he suggested I contact the office, which I did. The Customer Service Rep, Linda, says "Oh, he wasn't done at the previous location. That was just a standard text. He should be there shortly." I continued to wait another 5-10 minutes and DJ arrived. He informed me that he would be fogging the lot and spraying a solution, however he did not have a mosquito bait box because he "sold his last one yesterday." He insured me that it was in fact on my service request form. He said, "somebody can probably bring one tomorrow." DJ then begins to use a fogger, on a windy day, along the fence line. As I an observing from the front on the property, the white fog is blowing into the neighbors yard and none of it hit the ground. Once the fogger ran out, walking one path of the property, DJ came back to his truck and strapped on a back liquid sprayer and used as he said 1.6oz of pesticide in 8 gallons of water ( for a 1 acre lot). As DJ walked the property, he skipped around the yard in no particular pattern until the sprayer ran dry. He did not cover the whole lot and said, "well there was not water source here so that's all I could do." What about vacant lot did these people miss. I called the main office and spoke to Linda 2 more times and requested a supervisor and the bait box that I paid for. I am still waiting for the supervisor 4 days later. DJ did however come back with the bait box the next day, again he says "you don't have water out here so I had to get some for he bait box." This was in response to his tardiness for a second day. This is the worst service I have ever had from a pest control company. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. read more

We never have any pest issues and think that is attributable to the quality service they provide. The technicians are always pro-active in their approach to servicing our home. Have been charged for a service at 8-10am and have Had to call constantly - mind you I was never connected to manager until four hours later of my problem and no appearance- and yet no answers. Make sure before signing anything, there are actions and an actual commitment. They charge too much for little service. read more

The Customer Service from the call center to the Guys that come out is above and beyond. Service requested was for them to come out for scorpions and they always get me in pretty fast. Very affordable plans. Best pest control in South Texas!! CJ, Albert and Angel are all very knowledgeable and took pride in their work. They did not contact via phone or email before coming for the service and sprayed our native wildflowers. We have tried to tell them that we don't want to kill native pollinators and would just like to have doorways and indoors sprayed, but they said there were no notes in the file. I tried to add notes to the file last year and was told to just tell the technician, we told the technician and they continued to spray the pollinators. They offered no solution for this time other than to add a note to the file. They can spam notifications to set up termite and mosquito services, but not send a single email that we have a service appointment? They also like to push service appointments out further than 3 months. For example, they came on 8/13/24 and then scheduled for 11/27/24, but ended up coming on 12/9/24 due to scheduling conflicts. Then they next came on 3/14/25 and tried to come on 6/25/25 (with 1 day notice for the previous treatments and no notice for the last one). So don't expect their automatic scheduling to be the most effective way to get your money's worth. read more

So I switch lanes & he does it again on purpose & every-time I would switch lanes he would cut me off. I had to exit & as I was exiting he did the same thing so I would exit. I called today and today Matt came to the rescue and started the treatment with our dam ants. Pleased to say so far so good!!!

I scheduled with them for two different properties and they failed to perform the full service on both, then told me that the 30 day warranty had passed so they couldn't help me... after charging me full price for both. You can tell this company is owned by a man with that kind of audacity. You'll be tossed around their customer service team and not get any real answers. When I asked about the services that they never provided, they lied about it. It sucks, my time was absolutely wasted. Oh and the initial service? That man took 4 minutes to spray a 3000 sq ft house. We had a serious red wasp problem in that they had made a nest in our outdoor pergola. Today Joel came to our house again and the wasps got a second dose. Not a wasp to be found where this morning there were a dozen or so just making themselves at home. I really appreciate Barrett and we think Joel is just the best. This company is terrible. I have tried to get a manager on the phone for the past three weeks and they never called me back. I have had two services in the past 30 days, and I still have fleas and roaches. I have left emails, voice messages, and messages with their answering service for a manager to call me back, and they never call me back. I would highly not recommend this company! read more

I was so impressed by this young man. He showed up exactly at the appointment time, he was polite and well spoken. He explained that I did have a flea infestation, explained how he was going to treat it and answered my questions about the process. He then proceeded to treat the room with the biggest problem and treated the exterior of my home. Reassured me again of the process and explained he would return in approx 2 weeks.
