After stopping at another boba place that was out of boba we found this one on Apple Maps. It is a little confusing as from the parking lot they seem hidden but around the corner from crumble cookie is this wonderful place! The staff were friendly and helpful. My mom was looking for a sugar-free option and they were able to explain to her which items could be made sugar-free. My drink has some edible glitter in it, delicious Boba and wonderful flavor. Okay first time here and wow. Seriously unlike any açaí places I've visited, this one is REAL. They have this passionfruit mousse- I'm literally never going anywhere else again for an açaí bowl. This is the spot now. Analu and Julia were so helpful and kind, you can just tell they're proud of the food they serve and are excited to share it with others. Couldn't be more grateful to them for the experience. And this may seem silly but when I received my bowl loaded with toppings they gave me a little plate underneath it to catch any falling toppings. I've gone here 3 times now just to come back for the bowls. The ingredients are really fresh and the coconut base is divineeee. I have a sensitive stomach, but eating these were so refreshing and didn't upset it at all. My first 2 times, the ladies helping me were incredibly kind. However, my 3rd time another employee was preparing my bowl, but before I could say what base I wanted, she immediately started filling it açaí. I told her no, I only want coconut. She took out the açaí, added only a thin layer, then proceeded to fill a large section of açaí on top! I couldn't back out so I just proceeded to pay for another small bowl of just coconut base then transferred the toppings... (2nd pic) I'll be more specific from the very start before I even pay. This was my first time visiting Berry and Boba, and I had a great experience! The lady working there was so nice and friendly, which made me feel very welcome. For my açaí bowl, I chose the cacao sorbet as the base, and it was absolutely delicious. The unlimited toppings are a huge plus and let you customize your bowl exactly how you like it. I liked that you could add as many toppings as you liked and there was no limit. I did almond butter, a Brazilian (?) nut powder, strawberries, pineapple, mango popping boba, banana, blueberry, and more. I also got a seasonal caffeine-free winter apple streudal frappucino-type drink with crushed Biscoff cookie on top (kids enjoyed this). They had outdoor seating as well (three tables for 2). They had savory pastries as well. The worker was friendly. It was fun watching the drink get mixed in their robotic mixing machine. The bad: Nothing will ever beat Blue Bowl. This place did however have the blue chia seed pudding! I wish there were more base options. First time here and we had the privilege of meeting the owner Julian (sorry if it's not correct) she was so friendly and very kind offering us sample of the açaí and mango sorbet, which were delicious. The açaí was actually the best I've had in the South Bay. The recommendation she gave me for the drink (mojito mocktail) was so refreshing and delicious! Also, the lemonade is FRESHLY made! A new petite boba drink shop, Just located in the same side as In and Out on the DelAmo blvd. Finally went there to check them out. Ordered Thai Milk Tea and their House Milk Tea with reduced sugar. Their Milk Tea is pretty good. There is no boba place in this strip mall area so it helps although their price is about $.50 -$1.00 more than Presotea which a few blocks down Hawthorne . The aesthetics of this place catch your eye right when you enter. They have gorgeous glittering white floors and neat clear acrylic seating. The staff greeted us right away. My boyfriend and I each got Acai bowls. They had options to do a mango base instead or you can mix and mango with Acai. They had lots of options for fruit, granola, toppings and drizzles. Berry and boba offer a good selection of milk teas, fruit drinks, and açaí bowls. They're a little hidden but have signs that guide you to their small shop. I do appreciate that you can add essentially unlimited toppings, as long as they fit on your bowl, but I went with the classics (strawberries, banana, mango, pineapple) and it was pretty refreshing. This is a new açaí bowl spot that recently opened across from In N Out. It seems like açaí is their main concept but they also serve a few coffee and tea drinks as well as some boba drinks and soft serve. The menu is a bit all over the place and they serve a little bit of everything but I found it to be mediocre compared to other boba and açaí places. We tried The Amazon açaí smoothie with boba and the iced fruit infused jasmine green tea with peach. We didn't enjoy the flavor and texture of the açaí here. My tea drink also had an artificial taste to it. I didn't like the bits of peach in it either which tasted like canned peaches. It would be nice to be able to adjust the sweetness level or ice level in our drinks like you can at other boba joints but here, you are unable to. The workers were young and couldn't answer my questions on which drinks had no caffeine. I also asked if they have free wifi and the guy working said they do but he doesn't know the password. LOL! Seems like the staff needs a bit more training. They were pretty clueless. What I did like was that it was clean inside, the bunny logo/concept is cute, and they have a dog bowl with water inside so it's dog friendly! But there are still some things they could work on. Employee didn't seem to know the menu when I had a couple of questions. Drink selection is not typical or traditional, and not in a good way. Everything is very tea and fizz heavy. Drinks took an unexpectedly long time to make. I walked next door and came back to watch the person who ordered behind me get their drinks first. My kids all described their drinks as "mid". This location could be easy to miss but worth the effort to find it! This is our second visit here - the first time we had açaí bowls that were very fresh and large portioned. This time we got a couple different boba drinks and tried an "empada" which is like a meat pie. They warmed up the empada and it was the perfect snack size and very savory. They took great care and time in making our drinks which were worth the wait. We got one milk tea and another caramel biscoff. Both great. The biscoff one tastes like a creamy biscoff cookie - it's very very sweet though so if that's not your thing then maybe try something else or ask for less sweet. Everything we've had so far though has been delicious, very clean, and the folks working there are really friendly so we highly recommend you check out this spot. It's a small place no tables just a few tabletop seating. They have Açaí bowls and boba type drinks and smoothies. I got the Big 4 blended juices it had pineapple , mango, strawberry, kiwi and apple juice. It was good they don't add sugars or sweeteners so whatever types of fruits you do the sweet or tangy comes from them. Over all a good experience and the gals working were helpful and friendly.
