Had the most refreshing tuna wrap last weekend! It was called the Coconut Grove I believe & every ingredient was fresh & tasty. My friend got it to-go & even after waiting about an hour or so to eat, it tasted great.

Been here 3x already and all 3x times, we were impressed with our wraps! Flavorful, delicious, and healthy! You can order at the counter or on their self ordering kiosk machine. We only waited a few minutes for our wraps to be made. I was surprised and glad to know they use Mary's organic chicken. Staff were friendly the place was clean. Overall? WE LOVE WILD ROOTS! A must try!

My lame photo doesn't depict how amazing the food here is!!! I had the Carrot Crush salad (OMG, this was the BEST salad I've ever had in my LIFE) ... my hubby had the Golden Coast bowl, which he enjoyed & we also ordered the PCH rolls (veg, tofu + rice noodles wrapped in rice paper) which was also DELISH!!!

First time here This place is located in a big plaza so theres plenty of parking its next to chipotle and ihop across from in n out. You can order through their kiosk or at the counter. We only ordered one thing and was super disppointed on quality, taste and price. For $17 we ordered a catalina classic roll which was super bland, no flavor and tiny for the price. Tuna was not marinated or anything it was just chunks of raw tuna mango avocado and vermicelli came with a sauce but overall not worth it. The staff was just odd and not welcoming at all. I do NOT recommend

A NEW place to try!! Pretty ambiance, great service, and delicious food! I tried the Golden Coast Bowl with ground beef and hubby had the Coconut Coast Bowl with Ahi Tuna and they were very delicious, great flavor! Hope you all can go give it a try! We will definitely be coming back again!

So yummy! Was on my way to get dinner and this cute place caught my eye. Not just the look of the place but food was fresh and really good. The gentleman at the counter was nice enough to tell me his favs and suggestions and steered me in the right direction. Thank you! Went with the carrot crush as a wrap and made it half way through my wrap without even needing the sauce. Can't wait to try more soon :)

First time at Wild Roots and it was SO good! I got The Pacific Protein in a wrap and it was very fresh with simple ingredients. Eating healthy is important to me and I love that they have no seed oils. I'll definitely be back!!

Several gluten free (I have celiacs), seed-oil free, organic options! Surprised the bowls were as filling as they were when I first saw them. Got the Golden Coast and Coconut Coast bowls and both were sooo good, my 3 and 5 year old inhaled their food. The purple haze smoothie was perfectly sweet. Staff was friendly and helpful explaining the different items. Definitely a to-go place as the seating area is small, but well spaced out. Been here twice and will make it a regular spot for us.

Wrap....coastal crunch with crushed peanuts and peanut sauce

Loved all the choices. The peanut sauce in my wrap was AMAZING! Need to go back so I can try more of the items.

    My kids love this place!

I'm so glad we finally have a place in South Bay to pick up fresh healthy meals! I had the spring rolls and the sauces were homemade and so good. My picky son got the kids rice bowl with chicken instead of beef. He ate every bit of it and loves the miso sauce. Wild Roots was so accommodating and was happy to make substitutions. This is for sure going to be a regular stop for us.

The Olive Branch Wrap which is available as a salad as well.

Our first time here and absolutely enjoyed the food today! I had the olive branch wrap with Mediterranean dressing very fresh and really good. My wife had the Catalina spring roll which had super fresh ahi tuna she's a fan now! It's nice having a fresh alternative from everything else in the neighborhood so kudos to wild roots. Their service is excellent too, we'll definitely be back.

The galbi bowl is hands down my favorite. One thing I really appreciated was that they grill the galbi fresh to order instead of having it sitting in a warming tray. The meat comes out hot, juicy, and full of flavor, and you can really tell it's freshly made. The bowls also feel super fresh and clean with quality ingredients that all work well together. I also built a custom bowl with chicken, which was another great option if you're in the mood to switch things up. It's nice having the flexibility to customize your meal while still getting the same fresh ingredients. The sesame pudding was such a pleasant surprise and is definitely worth ordering if you have room for dessert. It was light, creamy, and the perfect finish to the meal. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and really efficient, even with a steady lunch crowd. Overall, it's a solid spot for a casual lunch, and I'll definitely be back for another galbi bowl.

My wife and I had an enjoyable breakfast experience, tasting some unique dishes that are worth coming in for. We had a real early errand in the Lomita area, so wanted to take advantage by trying a different breakfast place. They have a really informative website, explaining the owning family's participation and how some of their food is sourced. It's a brunch place (open from 8 am to 2/3 pm, Tu-Su), so needed to wait a bit outside (street parking only, found one hour free parking right in front since coming so early). Menus are available at the front counter, and you place and pay (clover) for your order first. The food came out soon after, delivered to your table. There is a self-serve water jug in the same area as take-as-you-need take-out containers (also saw a self-serve costco-size plastic wrap box for wrapping...such a Korean thing to do). Utensils and napkins are available at the table to take for need. I really like places like this that have optimized the service experience, getting what you need without having to track someone down. Forking Around's Filipino Burrito ($18.95) - a collab with the food influencer 'Forking Around' to put into a breakfast burrito, many common ingredients from a Filipino breakfast. This includes egg, garlic fried rice as base and a vegetable lumpia with longanisa pieces, wrapped in a good flour tortilla. Sides were both a cilantro lime crema and a well made sawsawan. The sausage was not too sweet nor too red (though perhaps a bit too meatloaf-like), and the lumpia in the burrito worked for me. Korean Breakfast with bulgogi and steamed rice ($19.95) - it was served in a cast-iron skillet and the pan had been heated up greatly...super hot when served and still warm by the time we left. The flavor of the bulgogi was solid, and I loved the presentation. Taco Truck Burrito ($17.95) - korean-style al pastor pork, with pineapple and kimchi fried rice and egg. It was good....forgot to ask if the meat was really cooked on a vertical rotisserie. Came with a good chipotle salsa and lime crema. We were done in 30 minutes, from entry to exit. It wasn't too busy, so asked the front-of-house lead where the longanisa sausage and lumpia were made...she stated that it was all in-house. That's really impressive, making an ingredient from scratch that is only used in one dish. This and the elegant presentation and longevity really shows that the entire team behind bites & bashes cafe (catering) knows what they are doing.

So it's only street parking. If you need the blue placard parking, there is only 1 space behind their small building. They have Korean and Filipino inspired dishes. Ie. banana turon or ube pancakes, Filipino inspired burrito with longanisa. I chose the bulgogi plate and asked for no white rice and was offered fruit or salad in lieu of. Tasty bulgogi w/a small egg on top yet the portions are very modest. In the middle of my meal, I ordered one more item- the krak fries which were very garlicky. They go for the presentation with the floral and greens to jazz up the look. Hubby's dish was straight ahead- Bulgogi cheesesteak and fries. Also modest in portions. Iced decaf Americano in a plastic cup and OJ in a plastic cup. Kinda odd considering their price points. Some beverages are in mugs. This was more like a 2.75 stars rounded up to 3.

From the moment we walked in, the woman taking our order seemed irritated that we were there, even though they don't close until 9pm. We felt rushed while trying to decide what to order, which made the experience uncomfortable right from the start. After we sat down, my boyfriend greeted a couple of his clients. The manager made a comment saying, "Wow, someone is popular tonight," which could have been friendly--but when he responded kindly, she followed up with, "Don't flatter yourself." That felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Throughout the rest of our visit, the service continued to feel unwelcoming. When my boyfriend asked for a to-go container, he was told she would have to get it, and when he also asked for a pita to go, she sighed and appeared annoyed. He later asked for a lid for my salad dressing after it fell, and again, her response felt inconvenienced. This isn't the first time we've experienced this kind of attitude at this location, which is disappointing. There were still customers coming in and ordering, so it wasn't as if they were closed or unable to serve.
