Love that this place is vegan/vegetarian! The staff member working was very nice. Lots of options to choose from, so I recommend taking a picture of all the menus and stepping outside to make your decision since the place is small. Came during a busy time and I appreciated the notice of 15 minutes minimum wait for a drink. I was okay with waiting that long for my drinks but I ended up waiting 35 minutes for 2 drinks. My strawberry milk tea finally was ready and I informed the server I also had ordered a pink dragon smoothie which she had no idea what happened to so I ended up waiting another minutes for my second drink. Even with 3 servers working I don't think it should take that long to make drinks. The drinks tasted okay at best. The strawberry milk tea was very disappointing, I tasted the tea but the milk and strawberry part was lacking also seems watered down. The dragon drink also tasted watered down, neither drink was refreshing for a hot day. Overall I would say for the price and wait I would pass next time. read more

Timeliness - terrible Taste - great This was our first time ordering from Berry Fresh and we got two different kinds of Halo Halo. They were refreshing and both tasted great! Unfortunately it took 35 minutes to get them. I'm unsure if this is the norm? We didn't have that amount of time to wait without it affecting other plans so we were feeling frustrated that we weren't told it would take an excessive amount of time to get our order before placing it. Size small for $9.50. It was good and refreshing but I don't think it was worth the price I paid for the size. Maybe if I got fresh squeezed juice. Not sure if I'm blind but I didn't see any prices anywhere so I don't like that. Also why I got a small instead. Not sure how much more the bigger size would be. Overall, still a nice place and I'd come back to order since I'd prefer this over soda/water from the other businesses. I can't lie, this was the worst boba I've had in my entire life. I'm not one to write reviews but me and my husband both got the taro milk tea because they were out of Thai. I can't even describe what it tasted like but we both threw it away almost immediately upon tasting. Had a craving for a smoothie which I never have. I was at a Liberty station for a wellness yoga event so decided to head to the food hall. Parking was tough as it usually is on a Saturday afternoon. Best bet is to park far and walk. Adjacent lots are typically full. Berry Fresh is right in the middle of the food hall. It's not a terribly large place and you should find it within a few minutes. There's a ton of people and businesses in there so be ready to dodge and weave your way through traffic. To order, was a bit confusing. Nobody knew where to order. To order, you go to the middle of the counter and you pick up at the ends. There's a lot to choose from and I'm not sure if you can go wrong with any of them. I went with the Green Sunset which has peaches, banana, papaya, orange, spinach, kale, almond milk, dates, and apple juice. It's a lot but delicious. Got the regular size and should have gotten the large for I think two dollars more. It is way better if it was almost frozen. It was cold but quickly got warm in the San Diego sun. There's no place to sit right by the business. There's some seating attached to another business in the food hall which is open seating. Berry blast has a lot of fun colors and is vibrant. read more

I love Philippino desserts and Halo Halo is one of my favorites so when I saw this place inside the liberty station public market I got so excited and of course had to get one. I ordered the "OG" or original Halo Halo but what I got was definitely not the Halo Halo I'm used to. What I got was a block of ice with a ton of brown sugar to sweeten it, bananas, coconut, rice crispies ,mango jello and ube ice cream. The ube ice cream was the only thing I could eat. The block of ice was so sweet and tasted nothing like the Halo Halo I usually get at other places. It had no condensed milk either. I was very disappointed. read more

I got a Popeye protein smoothie which has dates in it. The girl (one with all the piercings in her face) blended the dates with the pits still in them! It took 15 minutes to get our one smoothie and it was totally sloppy and unacceptable. I'm spitting out pieces of date pits trying to be careful not to crack my teeth on one of them. read more

I ordered the buffalo wrap, which came with kale chips on the side. It definitely has a kick to it, but it's balanced by an entire rainbow of vegetables packed into the wrap. The texture immediately reminded me of a Lucky Charms marshmallow, although it's much less sweet. It's unique, delicate, and unlike anything I've tasted before. For dessert, I sampled the Butterfinger and Twix. The Butterfinger filling has a green hue, which might surprise you at first, but don't let that fool you. The chef has somehow recreated the classic Butterfinger flavor in a raw, healthy version. It's not quite as sweet or crunchy as the original, but the flavor and texture are remarkably close and absolutely delicious, this is definitely a must try! The Twix was my personal favorite.
