The establishment is full of super kind folks and this was not the fault of anyone there- I ordered a halo-halo thinking everything was vegan, and I have a severe dairy sensitivity. (been dairy free for almost 3 years now) I ended up getting sick a day later, but prior to that the girl at the register was incredibly kind regarding the situation and refunded me. Stuff like this happens. I am giving 4 stars because I do wish there was a 100% dairy free option for the halo-halo! I've had great experiences there getting high quality vegan oat shakes. Came during a busy time and I appreciated the notice of 15 minutes minimum wait for a drink. I was okay with waiting that long for my drinks but I ended up waiting 35 minutes for 2 drinks. My strawberry milk tea finally was ready and I informed the server I also had ordered a pink dragon smoothie which she had no idea what happened to so I ended up waiting another minutes for my second drink. Even with 3 servers working I don't think it should take that long to make drinks. The drinks tasted okay at best. The strawberry milk tea was very disappointing, I tasted the tea but the milk and strawberry part was lacking also seems watered down. Had a craving for a smoothie which I never have. I was at a Liberty station for a wellness yoga event so decided to head to the food hall. Parking was tough as it usually is on a Saturday afternoon. Best bet is to park far and walk. Adjacent lots are typically full. Berry Fresh is right in the middle of the food hall. It's not a terribly large place and you should find it within a few minutes. There's a ton of people and businesses in there so be ready to dodge and weave your way through traffic. To order, was a bit confusing. Nobody knew where to order. To order, you go to the middle of the counter and you pick up at the ends. There's a lot to choose from and I'm not sure if you can go wrong with any of them. I went with the Green Sunset which has peaches, banana, papaya, orange, spinach, kale, almond milk, dates, and apple juice. It's a lot but delicious. Got the regular size and should have gotten the large for I think two dollars more. It is way better if it was almost frozen. It was cold but quickly got warm in the San Diego sun. There's no place to sit right by the business. There's some seating attached to another business in the food hall which is open seating. Berry blast has a lot of fun colors and is vibrant. read more

I love Philippino desserts and Halo Halo is one of my favorites so when I saw this place inside the liberty station public market I got so excited and of course had to get one. I ordered the "OG" or original Halo Halo but what I got was definitely not the Halo Halo I'm used to. What I got was a block of ice with a ton of brown sugar to sweeten it, bananas, coconut, rice crispies ,mango jello and ube ice cream. The ube ice cream was the only thing I could eat. The block of ice was so sweet and tasted nothing like the Halo Halo I usually get at other places. It had no condensed milk either. I was very disappointed. read more
