I still love BerryLine. Its worth the summer time line. I have a frequent fro-yo card that I get stamped whenever I remember to. I tried the rose flavor not long ago, its a very mild mellow flavor, like a slightly sweet & less tart version of the original. The blueberry is great too. I'll start the review by admitting that I'm not a huge frozen yogurt aficionado, so I actually can't really tell the marked differences between places like berryline and other frozen yogurt joints like yogurtland and pinkberry. Anyway, it's affordable frozen yogurt with diverse and more-often-than-not fresh toppings (I think the fruit served here is generally pretty good). The mochi can sometimes be a miss though - when it's been out too long you can tell by the way it tastes (it lacks the soft flavorful chewiness and tastes like rubber). The selling point is it's pretty affordable pricing and the complimentary honey next to the water that's available for everyone at no additional cost. read more

Best frozen yogurt anywhere. They have rotating flavors but I can never bring myself to get anything but the original--it's just too good. They always have fresh fruit, and they make a lot of their toppings themselves (cheesecake bites, mochi, granola, etc). The sizes are big, and they have stamp cards! After having Pinkberry in New York 2 years ago I have been on a quest to find a reasonable substitute in a city I live in and then I found BerryLine. I love Berryline. My boyfriend and I go quite nearly every Saturday night, making the trek from Allston at 11:00. But it's always worth it. The yogurt is delicious, the toppings are good. My only problem is the the staff. We usually get there at about 11:45 (they close at 12) and despite ordering quickly, the girl is always a little rude. Back off! You're open until 12, you can clean up when you close, but they're always trying to clean up before they close. that being said, when I go during the day the staff is much nicer. It does not however, detract from the yogurt. So good. read more

My friends and I joke that this place must put crack in the fro-yo. The first time I tried it I though, 'This is good'. After the second time, however, I started getting cravings. It could be 15 degrees and I'd still be making the trek over there. I love the slight tartness of the Original flavor. While the rotating flavors are always good (except for watermelon, but hey, we all have faults), I always stick to Original. It's a larger portion, tastier, better for you, and cheaper than Lizzy's. Berryline is the place to go in Harvard Square if you're looking for a cool summer treat. Ice cream can weigh you down, but nothing like a little topping of fruit to make anything seem healthy - and the yogurt is FAT FREE! Now I'm not a very adventuresome eater, but I can always find something yummy to try and Berryline - I'm a fan of raspberries + heath (and then a healthy dose of the chocolate syrup they've got in the back). Love it! Now why only 4 stars? Well, for as much as I do love Berryline, it can get expensive if you want more than a small one topping (even that gets you close to 4 bucks). Fan.tastic. BerryLine has never let me down. When I first fell in love with froyo I wasn't aware there were any places around Boston. Then I discovered BerryLine. All the locations are cheerful and the froyo is fantastic authentic tart yogurt. BerryLine always has surprising flavors, which I love. Anyone remember pear almond? Nutella? Pomegranate? Mango? I'm always pumped to see what fun flavor they'll have. The green tea and watermelon flavors featured last week were by far my favorites, especially with a nice topping of BerryLine's amazing homemade mochi. If I could choose any mochi to top my froyo with, it would always be BerryLine's. Fresh and just chewy enough to be yummy, their mochi has an amazing sweet rice taste that I haven't experienced with any other mochi I've ever had. I can never resist topping my yogurt with it. The other toppings are phenomenal as well. The fruit is always fresh. All I can say about the prices? The prices are great. If you get froyo anywhere in Boston, make it BerryLine. Berryline has extremely delicious frozen yogurt- if I was rating on taste alone, I would rate it above a 5. The only reason why it gets 4 stars is because of the size. The place is very small and gets crowed even if there's only a few people in the place. And there's about enough seating for 5 or 6 people, which is often full, so you have to find somewhere else if you want to sit and eat. But overall, I highly recommend Berryline if you want a quick froyo fix. read more

I have never had frozen yogurt before going to BerryLine.And I have to say that it was delicious. The combination of sweet frozen yogurt with fresh fruit is awesome! I never thought that frozen yogurt would ever compare to ice cream but it definitely is a great substitute, considering the fact that frozen yogurt is so much healthier than ice ream. The service here is great and the staff is always friendly. The only downside would be the fact that there isn't much room to sit down and enjoy the yogurt but it is a great dessert to grab and go. read more

Sometimes B wakes up, turns to me and says, "I want pinkberry." So, I roll over and... oh me. I realize that he is actually referring to the tangy, cool frozen yogurt product that we enjoyed in NYC. Low and behold, Yelp points me to Berryline and all is well. B rad and I hit up the cute little shoppe one fine evening and stood in the line (that went out the door) full of other peeps eager for a creamy probiotic confection. If you are not on your toes, the pressure can build when it is your turn to order and you haven't quite decided what to get. The toppings really need to be scoped out, unless you can read the sign up by the counter with the choices. Are you fruity or more of a candy ass? Tough call. How about a combo? I wanted kiwi and chocolate. No dice player! The young chapling at the counter said they were all out of choco-chips. THE HORROR!! All fruity for me then. I selected the original yogurt flavor with luscious kiwi and pineapple. I like my fruit like I like my teenage boys, fresh and ripe. Oh and it was! They had other yogurt flavors, blueberry and cranberry that evening. I was tempted by these choices, but the original tangy flavor compliments bold fruitiness so well. My B also chose original and selected reeses pieces and oreo. I was so proud. The small size was perfecto and two overflowing topping choices hit the spot for I didn't have any dinner that evening. 'Tis okay. If I don't have my required daily intake of sweetness...me go crazzzzzzzzy! The prices are cheaper than the Pinkberry and the quality to me was just as good. Like Pinkberry, but cheaper! My friends and I have been addicted to this place since we found out about it last October. I like how they usually have two or three flavors in addition to the original -- my favorites so far have been blueberry and raspberry. I usually get a fruit topping and white chocolate chips. I find that the sweetness of the white chocolate helps to balance out some of the tartness of the yogurt. I know that white chocolate chips aren't something that people intuitively think would go well with the yogurt but trust me -- it does. The owners drop by frequently and interact with the clientele, which gives the place a friendly vibe. My only complaint is that the shop is too small -- there's barely any seating, and in winter months no one wants to go outside to eat their frozen yogurt. read more

Berryline!! There's nothing new I can add after 185 other reviews, but I will add that I heart Berryline. I looooooove ice cream, but it's an addiction that quickly spirals out of control if indulged too often. Which is where Berryline comes in. The yogurt is so low calorie that I can pretty much eat it whenever I want! Whoo hoo! I've never felt like I'm compromising quality and taste for the lack of calories though. This review is a bit winded for a froyo place, but bear with me because I hope I can teach you a thing or two... On my travels through India, I hopped aboard a train headed to a remote spot and was subjected to Indian train food. Prejudice would have you believe that anything served on mass transit is going to be nasty, let alone on a train leaving Calcutta.. But the interesting thing about most Asian countries is that labor is ultra cheap, to the point where having a fully staffed kitchen to prepare food is cheaper than mass producing it and freezing it for later, since energy costs are more significant than labor. The end result: Mass transit food in India is fresh! My meal was completely inconspicuous save for this little, red, foil-wrapped, clay pot, which as it turns out, housed the FRESHEST goddamn yogurt I've ever tasted. It tasted sweet without having any added sugar and the texture was incredibly smooth, not gelatinous like store bought, processed yogurt. I don't even like yogurt, and was convinced I was eating something else entirely. I stole my little brother's clay pot while he was napping! And that's what the original BerryLine yogurt kinda reminds me of, though not quite as good. The added fruit toppings are delicious though and help make up for it. read more

Berryline is a great new frozen yogurt/coffee place in Harvard Square. The frozen yogurt is there is AMAZING. It actually tastes the way frozen yogurt is supposed to taste, it's not the super sugary garbage that most places have. Plus, you can get all sorts of great and healthy (or not) toppings, like freshly cut fruit (not canned!) or fruity pebbles. They also have great tea, the mighty leaf. I tried the rainforest mate tea, and it was really good. Plus all the people there are super nice. And the prices are totally reasonable. Check this place out, you won't regret it. read more

after seeing the many delightful reviews, i was dying for an excuse to go to harvard square and have some froyo. oh my god, this is some freaking excellent frozen yogurt. the original is like a sweetened frozen version of the fage total that i eat everyday without fail for breakfast...and sometimes lunch and dinner. i tried the original and the mango and decided that the original was way too delicious and creamy to pass up. even with the addition of some perfect strawberries and kiwi, a small was less than $4... and this was no teeny tiny small. in fact, it was really substantial. that didn't stop me from wanting to turn around and go get another one the second i was done. i have to second whoever suggested that they do pints here. i would love to be able to bring this stuff home! read more

I have to say I was a bit skeptical, as I often am with "trendy" foods and fashion, but I tried BerryLine and really loved it. The flavor and texture are amazing, and completely unlike the icky-sweet faux ice cream concoction that most frozen yogurt ends up as (memories of Penguins dance in my mind). I had the original flavor with berries on top, and felt like I could have eaten another whole serving. It was that good. The staff were also friendly and smiley, and the place was packed with Harvard kids getting their fix on a Tuesday night. The line moved quickly, though, as they seem overstaffed with an assembly-line crew. Go get some! read more

BerryLine is SOLID. Fairly hip and fairly urban, but with really good frozen yogurt. I've been about three times now and my favorite is the banana yogurt with kiwi and strawberries on top. I also enjoy the artwork on the walls and painted outside, but the absolute coolest thing about this place is that it's on Arrow Street. Which intersects Bow Street. As in, Bow and Arrow Streets. . . I just visited this place yesterday. It is a very friendly place, almost felt like a student run organization. maybe it's becaues ppl who work there look like students?? The blue berry frozen yogurt was delicious. The coconut .... not ... I think they should call it sweer cream coz there is no coconut flavour. That said they do have AMAZING toppings, FRESH FRUIT toppings. Their blue berry topping is REALY BLUE BERRY not those from shaws they look like those HUGE ORGANIC blueberry from Wholefood!!!!!!!!!!! I'm lucky to work near Berry Line, so I can get my fix of the best frozen yogurt I've tasted almost daily. The natural, unusual fruit flavors are the best. I've never seen vanilla or chocolate. (And I was less than impressed with peanut butter or Oreo.) But I almost don't miss chocolate when the fruit flavors are so amazing. Apple is my fondest memory. It actually had tiny flecks of real apple skin in it. And I appreciate the absence of artificial colors. This is the good stuff. read more

I am a BIG fan. They have a small selection of flavors, but they're all good ones -- when I went they had passionfruit and kiwi, for example. The prices are eminently reasonable, and oh yea, the froyo ain't half-bad neither! Most of the time I actually prefer frozen yogurt to ice cream -- I know, BLASPHEMY -- and this is very good frozen yogurt.
