The line will likely be out the door (because this place is so popular!) but it moves fast. The staff is quick and hardworking, people are in and out in two seconds. I go for the hard ice cream here (obvi the original tart froyo is their most popular) but the hard ice cream is insanely good. I got cookies & cream with hot fudge and strawberries and my friend got an original tart with hot fudge, strawberries, and mango. The fruit is SO fresh. Also, I got a small (white cup) and my friend got a medium (orange cup) and the portions are huge!

BerryLine was highly recommended on TikTok so decided to give it a try during my Boston trip. Went on a chilly Saturday around 4pm and there was a line going out the door but it moved quickly. I like how they do samples! We ended up getting a small Mango Cream and Original Swirl with original mochi, rose mochi, strawberry, and mango as our toppings. Definitely recommend the swirl! Both flavors were creamy and delicious. The froyo and toppings are slightly tart, so it tasted very natural and refreshing. I would have liked for the mochi to be cut up into smaller pieces as that would have been easier to eat, but still enjoyed. Overall, excellent bang for buck and in a convenient location right by Harvard Square. I would return on a hot summer day!

Amazing yogurt, long line but the line move fast. They don't allow ice cream sample, just yogurts. I would recommend their original yogurt and pair it with cheesecake or chocolate fudge. They have small seating area for you to enjoy the ice cream, but I would just walk around because it close to Harvard campus

Berryline is doing great without another 5 star review. The lines are out the door. But I wanted to say it is worth the wait. The home made mochi topping is really unique. The tart yogurt is perfect. Staff is friendly despite serving endlessly. Super cute storefront and vibe. Tiny interior with some standing room inside and decent seats outside.

Stopped by on a hot Boston afternoon with a group of friends. Line was long but it moved along reasonably given how long some people were taking to order . Staff are helpful and moving as fast as they can, but this is just a popular place! I ordered as per the recommendation of my friends an original froyo with the made-in-house mochi and one of the cheesecake options (this time Oreo). Not that everything really tied together in some culinary way (nor does froyo usually anyways), but everything tasted amazing! Froyo is refreshing and just tastes high quality, and the mochi was also fantastic. Is it weird to say that the Oreo cheesecake was the least impressive part? Things are tight in the space, but you can just as easily eat it on the sidewalk outside, but if you get lucky, there's a small sun room with ~6-8 chairs you can eat in with your group. As a plus, they have a punchcard system?!

The frozen yogurt here is so good! It's a very popular spot, so there is often a line out the door. The line moves pretty fast, and the froyo is certainly worth the wait. I really like the original tart because it is a perfectly balanced flavor of tart and sweet. There are also so many toppings to choose from, so I will always make sure to load up. I highly recommend their froyo, and I will definitely be back for more and maybe try some of their other flavors!

We ordered the wrong thing! The ice cream was good but not great. Lesson learned; if you go to a place with "berry" in the name, order the berries! Mud pie was basically coffee ice cream with Oreos. Not what the guy behind the counter described.

I've been here a few times now and it's a solid froyo spot! The line is usually a bit long depending on time of day and year, but I think it's worth it for a say 10-15 minute wait - anything longer and I'm sure there are other sweet treat options. The store is small so there's not room to eat inside. There are some picnic tables open outside depending on season which I've used and seen others sit at. They have a good selection of flavors and toppings, albeit the price is a bit steep. Portions are generous though and the end product is tasty. I like their mochi and cheesecake toppings while the original front flavor is solid. Overall, BerryLine is a great dessert option in the Harvard Square area and I'm sure I'll be back!

I had heard a lot about this place so thought I would give it a try! There was a long line when we arrived, but the line moved quite fast. We got the small original tart with Oreo cheesecake, strawberry, and hot fudge. The small was more than enough for 2 people! And the oreo cheesecake was so fresh. I wish the hot fudge was warmer, but it was still delicious. I also loved the original tart, the perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess. Overall, this is the perfect place to get a sweet treat!

Love mango cream. Please make it a regular flavor and bring back unlimited toppings. Wish they had more staff so the line isn't so long. It's the best froyo I've had.

Line was really long (15-20 min wait) and the store is really small with a few seats indoors and 2 tables outdoors, so the line was out the door. Servers were pretty nice and you could sample the flavors. We got a micro size multi topping of the original and lavender honey yogurt, which totaled $11.50. It was a good size for 1 person, and they gave a lot of toppings but it felt like a pretty normal frozen yogurt place. Would go again but it's not anything that special.

The legendary yogurt favored by Harvard students. Even on a weekday afternoon, the line was incredibly long, but I found it just average! Original: The yogurt itself was indeed very pure, refreshingly slightly sour, smooth and creamy, without an overpowering sweetness or milky aroma, and not as sour as Greek yogurt. But that was about it; nothing particularly surprising. Perhaps I was asking for too much! For toppings, I chose the signature Oreo Cheesecake Bites, mochi, and strawberries. The first two weren't very flavorful and didn't pair well with the yogurt; the strawberries, while slightly tangy, were definitely the best match. Lemon Bar: Very refreshing with lemonade flavor, but only suitable for refreshing fruit toppings. Although the spot was crowded, the service was orderly and quick; the wait wasn't too long. You can sample the yogurt before ordering, and the sample portions are quite generous. This is excellent!

Their original Frozen Yogurt is the best I've ever tasted. It tastes like frozen yogurt and not just soft serve ice cream.

This one didn't have a long line that I knew their North End location would certainly be marked by. On our first visit, we tried a plain cannoli to have a baseline of what to expect. We also tried a pistachio macaron. On the second visit, we tried a red velvet whoopie pie and a pistachio cannoli. The cannoli's are fire. The shell is thick, crispy and they hold up. They're stuffed with sweet creamy ricotta. It's a perfect pairing of soft cream and a hard shell. This location had a few bar seats available at the window and against the wall. There's a huge window of sweet treats on display. I definitely recommend visiting, try a cannoli and get something to go. They have everything from lobster tails to Boston cream pie. I think it would take someone with a lot of will power to come here and walk out without getting something.

Mike's Pastry in Cambridge brings the famous North End bakery experience to Harvard Square, making…read moreit easy to enjoy their iconic pastries without heading into downtown Boston. Located on Dunster Street, the shop is designed for efficiency, with a straightforward layout that keeps the line moving even during busy hours. There are a few counter seats inside, but it's primarily a grab-and-go destination where most people leave carrying one of the bakery's signature string-tied pastry boxes. The cannolis are the main reason to visit, and they certainly live up to their reputation in terms of size. The classic chocolate chip cannoli is generously filled from end to end with a rich, sweet ricotta cream, while the crisp shell provides just the right amount of crunch. If you're looking for something a little different, the Florentine cannoli is an excellent choice. Its honey-nut shell adds an extra layer of texture and a subtle caramelized flavor that pairs beautifully with the creamy filling. Beyond the cannolis, the bakery offers an impressive selection of Italian pastries, cookies, cakes, and other desserts. The lobster tails are another popular option, with flaky layers surrounding a rich cream filling, and the display cases are filled with enough variety to make it difficult to choose just one item. Prices are a bit higher than your average neighborhood bakery, but the portions are generous enough that many pastries can easily be shared. Service is quick and efficient, with staff focused on keeping the line moving throughout the day. Since seating is limited, it's worth taking your pastries to nearby Harvard Yard or the Charles River, where you can enjoy them at a more relaxed pace. Mike's Pastry may be best known for its North End flagship, but the Cambridge location delivers the same oversized cannolis and classic Italian desserts in a much more convenient setting. Whether you're craving the original chocolate chip cannoli or one of their many other pastries, it's an easy stop whenever you're spending time around Harvard Square.
