Ordered two cream pie slices and a rhubarb slice. Cream pies are only marginal and thought the crust had a poor taste. The rhubarb pie was the worst I have ever had. I would not have known what it was if I hadn't been told. Berry's service was ok - ordered at the counter. The ambience is dated - old and dingy. This business has been in Prescott for decades. Great spot for lunch with super friendly service. So far, I can recommend the Malibu Chicken Sandwich, the Swanky Frank, potato salad, and potato cheese soup. The pies are beyond delicious, too. I'll definitely be back to try something new. read more

This is my very favorite place to have breakfast or lunch in the Prescott area. Service is swift and kind, food is delicious and portions generous, prices are reasonable. As for the pies... Well, they are just from another world! When I'm going somewhere and I need to have an amazing desert Berry's Pie is my 'go to' solution if I can't bake myself. The food was absolutely as excellent as ever but the service all around was really poor and I didn't understand why. The waitress just had no interest in doing her job it seemed as well. It's a small quaint little restaurant. My husband chose a lemon cream pie but tasted more like lemon meringue, but delicious non the less. We chose the whole Apple Crumble pie to go. Apple to crumble ratio was great it was just way too sweet for us which overpowered the apple flavor. But maybe it's the way it suppose to be. Amazing So I special ordered a couple pies from here- a coconut cream and a lemon sour cream... and omg... now quick disclaimer- I have not had an actual piece of pie in almost two years due to me being gluten free and a shortage of gf pie crusts around the holidays- but I will tell you every second was worth the wait for these pies!!! The lemon sour cream tastes like a cheesecake pie and the coconut is to die for... I think I ate 1/3 myself last night... you've got to try their pies and food amazing too!! I watched their "end of day" customers come in and buy almost every last slice of pie( although they would've bought more if they could) as I sat there silently gloating that I've got two whole beautiful pies boxed up to take home. Breakfast Revue: Their food was decent but not a home run if you're looking for a great breakfast experience. Although the service is good, there is very little seating. The primary reason for the 3-star review has to do with the coffee. Their drip coffee was like drinking brown colored hot water. There was no flavor & likely not enough grounds used in preparation. If they upgrade their coffee serving, their rating would jump to 4-stars. For the owners: Since you're directly across the street from Black Dog Coffee (best in Prescott), buy your grounds from them and select brew to pair with your food. Your place is small enough that you could serve a French-Press at each table during breakfast hours. This small investment will hit your bottom line, but will be well worth it in the long run. You could even advertise, "Featuring Black Dog Coffee". read more

I went there for a lunch and I had the turkey croissant, it didn't have any flavor except tasting like grass and their water tasted weird. The fries were very good! However their strawberry shortcake was B A D. Whipped cream tasted like it was from a can, the strawberries were from a can and the shortcake was awful and felt like it's been sitting here for days. Whatever you order, save room for a slice of pie! Breakfast was amazing. The pancakes are crepe-like and sweet, which is a nice touch with one of the hearty egg and hash brown specials. We also enjoyed the corned beef hash and the chicken fried steak and eggs. And the pie ... it is amazing. The crust is flaky and flavorful. We had the berry pie and the pecan pie. Next time I'm going for the coconut cream pie. It must be good because both times we ate here they were out of it. This place is a great way to begin a day of hiking or biking. read more
