Prior to the cleaning Ken was communicative in getting an appointment set up to provide a quote for an extensive deep cleaning of our house and follow up cleaning of the carpets. At the appointment we really liked him and were hopeful they would do a great job. His military connection was mentioned highlighting his attention to detail. During this initial appointment I reinforced STEAM cleaning of tile floors and dusting everything with a top (pictures, fridge, tvs, shelves, window stills and so on). What we got: Floors were wet mopped (not steam cleaned) without being swept prior. I watched as a chair at a time was pulled from our dining room table, the mop pushed under the table, then the chair replaced. Essentially nothing else was moved. Sectional rugs were not moved nor vacuumed during this deep cleaning. A small floor air purifying system was not moved nor cleaned behind. You get the idea. Dusting: On larger surfaces you could see where the rag touched the open spaces (and where it didn't) about 30% of the pictures frames and window sills were dusted. Attached are pictures of our fridge top (not touched), the result of running my finger on top of our master bedroom TV and a night stand in our bedroom. They did a really good job on the counter tops and inside of the oven door. Basically we got a maintenance clean. Given they arrived at around 4, and there was a tremendous gap in what was discussed and our definitions of DEEP clean, I chose not to say anything. As I did not want to instruct a professional cleaning crew deep into the evening. My wife did follow up a couple days later asking if there was a misunderstanding as to what we asked for. I had Move in/out deep cleaning service. When I contacted them, they responded quicker than others thru Yelp. Date and Hours seemed to be a problem, some reason I couldn't find the cleaning service for Friday. But they made it happen. Two guys came to the house on Friday and was wondering how much time they're going to spend to deep cleaning. Came around 8:15ish AM in the morning and finished about 1PM. They did their job done completely and made all nice. The price of service wasn't bad at all for deep cleaning service compare to others. Ken is very friendly and professional. This was for a move-out deep clean. They were quick to respond on a weekend and came in with a very reasonable quote, which wasn't beat by anyone else (I requested quotes from 15-16 cleaners). And they were just more personable in their communications--I could tell there was a real human over there who cared about the job. I was not disappointed. They were meticulous, showed great attention to detail, worked efficiently, asked questions to make sure they were doing it the way I wanted, and were friendly throughout. They arranged carpet cleaning with a third party and made sure it was handled. They also handled my request for garage floor cleaning, which I hadn't mentioned before. Superb in every way. I was in dire need of an immediate condo cleaning for my relative in the hospital. In short order and with great ease, Ken, his wife and their esteemed colleague were in the condo, equipment in hand, and ready to go. They saved me! The condo was sparkling clean, they were so thoughtful from start to finish, did a really outstanding job, were easy to coordinate with, and really, really fun to be around while working. I needed a cleaning company on short notice to come clean my home before the moving truck arrived with all of our stuff. I called Berry's on Tuesday, they came to do an estimate on Wednesday, and were able to schedule our cleaning on Friday. Their estimate was fair and a lot more reasonable than some other companies. Ken and Candy are so nice and were easy to work with. They had me walk through my home before they left and point out anything that I still wanted done or anything that was overlooked. i don't like to leave a bad review for anyone, but i am highly upset . i called this company for a move in deep cleaning service on monday july 21, 2020. they seemed really nice and professional when we spoke on the phone and met in the person. i was extremely grateful that they came on such short notice. they were understanding and patient when i had to change my time from 12 noon to 12:40. i specifically asked about their service and everything it included which they said it included cleaning counter tops, dusting blinds, inside and outside cabinets, vacuuming the floors, mopping the the hard wood floors, cleaning surfaces, and cleaning the stove top and oven inside and outside. candie told me that were also clean commercial buildings as well. i felt comfortable. the quoted me $350.00. i paid them $400.00. they came with a cleaning crew of 4 people. she also stated that her husband was the floor specialist. it was virtually impossible to watch over them as i was extremely busy with the locksmith and my refrigerator install not to mention all of the other things that come along with moving into a new home. candie stated that they had plans later on that evening. i tried to check everything but i have a 4000 sq ft home. i trusted that they would do the job they were paid to do. i seriously regret my decision to hire this company! it is very sad as i had high hopes for this company and wanted to support a black owned company. my husband arrived at the home 2 hours after i left with the moving truck and he was beyond upset. the kitchen counters had not been cleaned at all. the pictures that i included were the end results of me having to go behind them and clean my home in the middle of the move.... something i paid to be done. it took me 2 days to write this review because i was still in the process of finding a lot of things that weren't cleaned. my griddle on the stove had not been cleaned at all as it still contained pet hair from the previous owners. they cleaned the shower cleaned the shower and floors in the upper master bathroom and completely forgot to dust, which is also included in the pictures. i spent 2 days cleaning my home and i'm still finding areas that were not cleaned . i spome with candie and sent photos that my husband took and asked for a $150.00 refund. she responded to me stating that she already paid her cleaning crew and the job wasn't half done so she gave me $100.00 refund. pictures does not lie. she also stated that her husband was willing to come back the next day (july 22, 2020) before 3pm to finish the job, but honestly i didn't want them to come back due to the fact we were moving all of our big furniture in and it didn't make sense and they did such a horrible job the 1st time. i was content with the refund at first until i had to spend 2 days doing the job that i paid them to do. to say that i am pissed is an understatement. i would have rather they didn't show up. it seems like they only cleaned the smaller areas of the home and some of my blinds. like i said, pictures don't lie!!!! i want a $300.00 refund!! this was ridiculous. and to top it off.... she told me that they've never recieved a complaint before. read more
