Long overdue review of Bespoke Brilliant for a custom order of a total of 4 rings: a 4.5 ct emerald engagement ring upgrade, a new mixed shapes wedding band, a re-setting of my original princess engagement ring into a 3 stone, and resizing of my original wedding band to wear on a different finger. And Bespoke Brilliant delivered! Nguon and her husband Ngin were absolutely lovely and their service was 5 stars. So patient with me as I must have gone in at least 3 or 4 times and spent considerable time looking over different ring styles and options before I set out on my final design choices. And a few other visits after that to try on the 3d prints and do some adjustments. Nguon sourced me 3 different size diamonds so I could see them in person to choose. Throughout the whole process Nguon was extremely kind, transparent on process and prices, and never did I feel pressured to do anything. Ngin expertly executed on the designs exactly like the renderings and even showed me videos of the casting process. I stumbled on this place as I was visiting some other places in Valley Fair to do ring consultations. Immediately upon seeing the designs on display you can tell the settings are delicately crafted and the designs are dainty and with modern settings. The price is also very reasonable compared to other well known brands around the same area (Blue Nile, Brilliant Earth, Geoffrey's, etc.). In the end I chose a mixed metal pairing, with a yellow gold engagement band on a tulip setting paired with a white gold wedding band. And I later chose to add on another custom resetting of my old engagement band into a new three stone. I'm so glad I went custom and was able to support this Asian family owned business. I had an amazing experience working with Nguon from the start to finish. I instantly had a gut-feeling that I could trust her with designing my ring when I saw her designs/work on display. Previously, I had already went to a couple of popular jewelers around the Bay Area but had been disappointed by the designs I saw. A lot of those locations felt very packed and impersonal. It also felt that they were just trying to sell me on a ring. Nguon never pressured me or made me feel like I had to go with her or decide on a ring. I think it took me around 4 trips to decide on a rough starting point on what I wanted and then probably another 1-2 trips to customize and finalize what I wanted. She was super patient, kind, and helpful the entire process and worked with me over the span of a few months and went above and beyond to meet all my requests. I am a very detail-oriented, picky, and indecisive individual, but she handled it all with grace. I am super happy with my ring, and I am so grateful I met Nguon and she was the one who made my ring. My girlfriend (now fiancé) and I stumbled upon Nguon's store while we were waiting for our appointment with Blue Nile. I had already mentally set on purchasing from Blue Nile due to their cost and services no matter what, and boy was I wrong. I wasn't interested to go into the store at first since I had already picked where I want to purchase it, but since we had some time before Blue Nile, I thought why not, plus my girlfriend was already in the store chatting with Nguon. Nguon was so patient, kind, and knowledgeable. She pretty much gave us a course on how to pick diamonds, walked us through the services, and even provided digital mockups right there on the spot for us to see what the rings would look like on my girlfriends hand. I had such an incredible experience at the store, I decided to further explore a ring build with Nguon. The full process took 2 months; Nguon provided me many options of center stones, all hand picked by her and inspected by her team. We also decided to go with 2 GIA side stones to match the center, and she was diligent in doing the search and ensure all 3 stones work cohesively. I sent Nguon a powerpoint on what I want the ring to look like (a combination of Harry Winston and Cartier), and she did many iterations of digital design and even 3D printing. The whole process was incredible, Nguon's service was top notch, and the ring came out better than I dreamed of. What's crazy was that the final cost beat my build at Blue Nile.
