You have a guy up front demanding someone to wear a mask when legally you can not. For one if a customer is medically exempt you can't force someone to (and I am one of those people). 4/30/2021 - I'm done wearing a diaper on my face. They have just lost my business for the next 12 months. As I walked into the store this evening, I was told that I must wear a diaper on my face to be in the store. Now, I have been in this store in the last month and not had to do so. What's changed? Trying to shop and read about different home communications system and the employees seem to think it's a theater turning the volume up so loud in the sound and tv area that you can't even think to shop. Aweful. Maybe management needs to be let and replaced with people who understand that people don't want to be blown away with such loud sound while shopping. Simply aweful. THE AUTO INSTALL DEPARTMENT SUCKS ASS!!! Had to have warranty repair on a Pioneer head unit, and apparently they have to remove it as part of their process, even though you show them it's not working. They broke all my dash clips for radio fascia, they cut up the wiring harness, disconnected equipment that didn't need disconnected, lost the right mount for the stereo, these people should not be touching people's cars let alone the electronics, they also blew the amp fuse while cutting the harness out of the vehicle, atrocious work. Again, DO NOT GO TO THIS SHITHOLE!!! read more

We waited for about 30 minutes with 3 people knowing we needed help with a TV we wanted to purchase. None of them came to help when they were done with their customer or attempted to call another associate. The store was not busy by any means with roughly around 8 people in the store and plenty of associates just looking around not assisting anyone. Then we get snarky remarks when I told an associate their customer service was horrible. I went to the store today to spend my hard earned money on a cover for my sons phone. I was greeted by a gestapo that required me to wear a mouth diaper. The Governor of our State has released us from the tyranny of Covid restrictions and the unsanitary practice of wearing masks. I am ashamed that a company still insists on violating my civil rights in order for me to purchase merchandise. I have been a loyal customer and I have spent thousands of dollars in these stores and because of this ridiculous continuation of forced restrictions, I won't be back and will do all I can to make sure others don't shop their either. We have been to this store 2 or 3 times stalking the new 4k tv's and each time multiple people ask if they can help us. Finally we bought one last night and the associate was very patient and knowledgeable. It was a big ticket item so we were taking a long time weighing our choices. He helped us make a decision we were comfortable with. He even let us know there was an pen box item on sale in the same model we decided on so we ended up saving some $$. This has been the worst online appliance purchase I have ever made. Original delivery scheduled the 3rd. Late morning of the 3rd. (after taking off work) I get an email saying I need to schedule my appliance delivery. WHAT? They had cancelled it because they had no dishwasher. (information I needed when I ordered and paid for it) I call and two days of inept service later I get the Dishwasher and all the things I paid for to install it scheduled for the 8th. Morning of (took off work again) I get an email saying I need to schedule the Installation kit which had been scheduled for the 8th like everything else. I call. There was no installation kit at the Warehouse when they went to load the truck the night before...(that would have been good to know at that point...we all have phone these days. It is 4pm and still no dishwasher as I have to hope the message they put on the order goes to the delivery people...telling them to go to another store location for the Installation kit. I am 4 written complaints and 8 phone calls into this situation and pretty over BEST BUY!!! read more

I ordered a 65" TV Ciber Monday of last year and purchased the 2 year Geek Squad Protection on it, the TV stopped working back in March of this year. Since then the Geek Squad as been out twice to try and repair the TV, both repair attempts were unsuccessful. I no longer have any support from Geek Squad because they could not figure out how to repair the TV and Best Buy still refused to allow me to return the TV for an exchange or credit. I basically wasted my money paying an additional $200 for Geek Squad protection, my TV is still broken. I've been a Best Buy customer since the 1990's but I can no longer do business with a company that treats their customers like this. read more

I had no problems with the sales department. The installer delivered my refrigerator as promised but hooked up the water line for the ice maker to the hot water water line. This was discovered shortly after the installer left. I called the store and they said they would schedule a service call in three days to reconnect the water line to the right water line. Shortly before the new installer arrived for the new appointment I got several messages to be ready for the installers. I waited all day and no one showed up. No email, no call. I went on line to my account and there was a note that the reinstall had been completed. I called the store and thy told me that the wrong crew had been scheduled and they would reschedule for three days later. The next appointment showed up. The guys said they needed some supplies to make the new connection and they would be back. They never returned nor did they call. At this point I was furious. I talked to a supervisor in customer service and he said that he would send out a special crew in about three days. My appointment was for this Wednesday. AGAIN, NO SHOW, NO CALL, NO EXPLANATION. I am retired and at home all day with the phone constantly available. Regardless of what ever reason this has happened, someone should have communicated with me. I have been to this place 4 times in the past year and I had an absolutely horrible experience each time. Once to purchase a new RAM card for my mother-in-law's computer, the card was stocked in the wrong place and Best Buy did not honor the price difference. This same thing happened several months later when me and my husband were purchasing a new xbox controller. There was a sale sign on a fully stocked peg (the sticks they hang on) for $25, but yet again, due to someone stocking things wrong and nothing of my fault at all, they did not honor the price at all. All other stores would honor this, but not Best Buy I guess. A third time and problem was me and my husband were purchasing a new TV with our tax money. We came in and decided on a TV and we went to ask a man about buying it, and he just looks at the shelf and says "nope, we're out" and walks away. That was it!! He didn't even bother to check the back or anything, or maybe order it for us, or find it at another store for us. He was more interested in playing with a stereo and putting on some extremely loud annoying music. On a fourth occasion, I was purchasing some headphones. I went to check out and wanted a price match from another store online. (difference of about $7) and this is a policy that they honor. I stood at that register waiting ten minutes for a manager to come approve the transaction, holding up the line, and pissing me off in the process. Not to mention that all the people (teenagers) who work here avoid eye contact and helping customers, and will stand behind the counter and talk to each other and not even turn to ask if you need help. I have worked retail for 8 years, and the practices at this store are just ridiculous to me. If these situations were to happen to me at the stores I worked for, I would have to do anything to make a customer happy, and to make a sale. The only reason I keep coming here is because they do price match, and its annoying to drive into Houston to another store. read more

They charged my credit card $1600 and then immediately they sent me an email stating that the fridge was out of stock. Now I was out $1600 and no fridge. They will not credit back the money on my account so I can go somewhere else to buy a fridge. So I was out of a fridge and also $1600. I called customer service and they said it will take 2 days to get the money back. I told them that it's not fair to take people's money if you don't have the merchandise. After 2 days I called back and they said it will take 5 days to get the money back. Finally I just called my credit card and had them reverse the charge. Now I have to admit, I am a bit picky in what I was looking for but she was patient enough to work with me and help me find the ones I needed. I have to pick up the laptop in my home state, which wasn't a big deal. I get home and go to pick up my computer and they want to charge me to install the memory! I say, "I guess David screwed up."
