Service is horrible. This was my second time going to this particular Best Buy. The first time there back in 2016 I waited close to 30 minutes just for someone to get a phone I wanted out of a glass case . This time around I wanted a projector. I knew the exact model and even checked the website to make sure they were in stock before stopping in to purchase it. Waited 20 min trying to find some to go get the projector or even speak to me. By then I was getting frustrated, mind you this was a Tuesday evening with very few cars in the parking lot. Finally frustrated with the lack of help I proceeded to the TVs and was able to screw up the settings on most of the TVs with not one employee even acknowledging me. Received absolutely no customer service. I came to recycle an old computer. The greeter told me to take the computer to the customer service desk which was across the store. I asked for assistance getting it out of my car. He just looked at me and waited. I then said that I was told over the phone that someone could help me with the lifting. He said he'd try to get someone but made no move to do so. I asked for a cart at least and he POINTED to where the carts were. I managed to get the computer out of the car and on to the cart by myself but when I came back inside I was told that I couldn't recycle the monitor without paying a charge of $25. read more

Had major issue with my PC. Called the 1-800 number with the geek squad and paid for the service. After 6 hours they told me they could not fix it. Said to take it to the store. I called to make an appointment. Spoke with Jacob, who in 15 minutes had it fixed, over the phone, no charge. I will never call the 800 number again. Jacob is the best!!!! read more

MEG in Customer Service was so hard to work with concerning a Dell Computer return using the Best Buy Credit Card, She was disrespectful, insulting, very rude to talk with, and you name it. She seemed like working their was something she hated, because of having to wear a mask. She kept on touching it and coughing into it. You just could not explain the issue to her. As a Disabled Vietnam Military Veteran i believe I am owed an apologize for her and the Manager of the Best Buy's in Delafield, Wisconsin. I would never again purchase anything at that store until I receive an apology. I would not consider even picking one star, but you have to pick one to write a review. Furthermore I am posting what happened on FACEBOOK, contacting the Better Business Bureau and more. She actually tried to make me Pay Money for the refund until the Salesperson showed up and the manager and told her I should receive everything back in the refund. The totaled was $1,349.00 on the credit card and she wanted to just take off $1,049.00. She insisted I had to take care of the rest. Finally the Salesperson and the Manager told her to take all off the credit card. As a Teacher in the Wisconsin Prisons it was easier to deal with inmates then this customer service person. I Iike this location better than the Bluemound Road or the Mayfair locations. Easier to park, less crowded and the staff seems more friendly. We had a good experience with Greg in appliances who helped us find what we needed and made sure we got the price match discount. Sometimes during busy times the customer service counter gets backed up but that's really my only complaint. read more

Awful customer service. I have been here many times, and my most recent experience has sealed the deal for never returning to this location. I did an order online for pickup and called to make sure my husband could pick it up for me, which they said he could. When he got there, they would not release my order to him despite my earlier phone call. They were also rude and combative when he explained the call I had placed and how it made him take an unnecessary trip which could have been avoided if the employees were trained properly. read more

OUTSTANDING! I went twice to purchase a TV. Once to look and obtain information and once after I did my own research came back to purchase. I had 2 different sales reps and each were helpful, kind, informative, patient, and most of all knowledgeable. I highly recommend you go to this Best Buy if you want to purchase something. These gentlemen in the TV area were also able to help me with a computer problem and take me to a person who could solve that as well. This was an incredible experience and I'm not a shopper and old school when it comes to pleasing the customer and being genuine not just because its your job. Ugh. It was like the 10th circle of hell. It took us 30 minutes to find anyone available to speak with (on a Tuesday afternoon) so we waited in the customer service line instead, to find out the worth of the beats wireless headphones my kids wanted to exchange (for some over-the-ear type, and a Chromebook) using a gift receipt. The CS employee was nice, genuine, even told us that based on what he's been told and seen, you pay for the name of the Dre beats and to check out the Sony and Bose headphones instead, much better quality. Okay. My other kid wanted a Chromebook instead of headphones, so we visited both areas of the store. We spent 45 min. waiting for assistance on the Chromebook my daughter chose, it took her awhile looking at them to decide, but she wanted a HP for school. She was excited about it. Looked up reviews, all great. When we finally got someone to help at the counter, he looked it up on the system, and started the sale transaction process. it was priced higher on the little monitor than we mentioned it was showing in the store, so he said he could adjust it. He kept asking for my name, address, number etc.. even though the price and info looked wrong on his screen, so I finally went back to the display to make sure, and he entered the wrong sku. He said okay, he could fix that later.. I insisted he check stock or status now before wasting our time with this personal/payment information, and of course sure enough once he fixed it, he said that one wasn't available. But, umm.. it's on display with a price and everything. Sorry he said, can't sell that one or even order it, they're understaffed and he guessed they never got around to removing it. *sigh* so I asked him to write down the model number of the current version (which of course they had none in stock to show us to compare) and we decided to wait, to check available Chromebooks out online later on our own time. We didn't want to purchase something unseen or un-reviewed, in spite of his attempts to sell it to us. Waste of time, the item displayed in the store like that, that is not even available? Frustrating. Now the headphones. My son chose Sony wireless over-the-ear, great reviews, the employee there (different one walking through) said great choice they were a bit less expensive than the beats so even had room to get something else, score for my son. Waited in long line again to make his exchange. Once up at the counter, a new guy said in a condescending tone "oh.. are you sure you don't want to upgrade to something, um, BETTER, instead? You have beats here, and the beats line is far superior quality than Sony." Err my gerrd. First of all, how dare you just tell my young son that the item he researched online and in the store, heard from 2 employees was great, and listened to himself, and he was EXCITED about, were a bad choice? Seriously, how dare you? It was a large brunette guy at the CS counter. I can only imagine he was maybe trying to upsell us, because 2 other employees just told us the opposite, that Sony was superior to beats. And never mind that, my son LOVED them, he's happy, tons of online rave reviews and 2 store employees agreed. I mean honestly, shut up. I just laughed and told him he was funny, and that 2 of his co-workers just told us the opposite, he argued a little but I told him to please just ring us up. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Is that your policy to teach cashiers to tell their customers that their choice sucks? We felt like a nuisance and frustrated almost the entire time in this store. We will go back to pick up a new Chromebook in exchange for my daughter's gift, then I plan to hopefully never set foot in this particular store again. read more

I have never had issues with best buy before, I even liked the Delafield store. However, I took my brand new phone there to buy a screen Protector and have it put on by the mobile employees, and since its a service they offer I assumed they would be able to do it. Evidently not, because the guy putting it on was having trouble getting the bubbles out. He put two separate protectors on because it didn't work the first time and when he called for help no one came. In the Process of putting the second one on, he pushed too hard in the corner and broke the digitizer in my phone. When I confronted them, after he went to ask someone for help and I saw him them take the back of my phone off and take my battery out, they asked if I had dropped it because it looked like a crack. I told them it was a new phone and that was clearly not there when I brought it in, they told me putting a screen protector on and pushing too hard wouldn't do that. They told me to take it to US cellular and see if it was covered under warranty. The US cellular in Delafield was great and helped me take care of it, but as soon as they looked at my screen they said that's from pressure. Needless to say I will never take a product back to best but for service or installation, because clearly they are not properly trained and cannot provide the services they say they can. I went in with a four day old phone and left with a broken one. read more

We purchased an I Mac in 2014 from Best Buy, We purchased an extended 3 year warranty, we had no issues with the Mac itself, but the keyboard started having issues, so in July of this year I contacted the Delifield Best Buy in Wisconsin, for help, I was then instructed to bring the keyboard in so they could take a look at it. I brought it in even though I live close to 25 miles away. I wasn't even sure it was going to be covered under our warranty. The geek squad took a look at it, and looked at our warranty, come to find out that it only had one more week and then it would be expired!, and they said that it was covered! Yea! I was so happy, they ordered it their on the spot, and said it would be delivered to my home in about 1 week! Wow! I couldn't believe it! I was so pleased ! Fast forward , well about 2 weeks passed, and nothing delivered, no phone calls or Emails. I called the Geek squads direct number, and they told me that the keyboard was on back order, and they had no way to get me one! I said well it would have been nice if someone called me to let me know, they replied, well we tried to contact you by email, well if you got no reply, why didn't you call me on my land line? They gave no explanation. So I said, okay now what are you going to do to honor my warranty? Can't you locate a keyboard in one of the other stores and have it either sent to me, or sent to the delifield store and I can pic it up there? They said it wasn't there policy, and they don't do things that way! Wow! I was so angry and frustrated at this point, and I totally felt like I was getting the royal runaround! So I asked okay what can you do for me now? They said we will send you a voucher, you go by a keyboard with your own money, and send in your receipt along with the voucher, and we will send you a check for the refund! I about blew a gasket! Are you kidding me!!! I paid for a three year warranty for This!!!! They want me to locate a keyboard on my own, go and pay for it out of my own pocket, and then they will reimburse me?? I just had had ENOUGH! I hung up! I waited another whole month to see if they were going to indeed send the voucher, they never did! So here I go again, I said a prayer, and asked God to go ahead of me, and fight my battle for me, Please! I don't want to get angry! I was put in contact with Anthony at the Delifield store, and He said to come in with my paperwork, so He could see it, I said okay but I don't want to drive all the way there, and than nothing gets resolved! Anyway I hung up, and about 10 minutes later He called me back and said he did a little digging into the situation, and He just wanted me to know ahead of time that He had a Keyboard there waiting for Me! Hallelujah! Thank you God! For using Anthony to help get this situation resolved ! Well done Anthony you restored my faith in your store! I was never going to set foot back in Best Buy ever Again! Again Thank you so much Anthony, I just wish all the Best Buy employees had that Level of Customer Service! read more

I've shopped here for several years. I used to be a huge fan. Then not a fan. Over the past two years, my experiences have been very good. I bought a flat screen TV - quick, knowledgeable service, easy to return/recycle my old TV (somebody here wrote that customer service is located "across the store." It's maybe 60 feet from the front door, i.e., it's close by). Two weeks ago, I bought a printer - exceptional service. It was a breeze recycling my old printer and getting an added discount for it. My painful experiences were all focused on an extended warranty for a camera. That experience was so exceptionally frustrating, it's the reason I'll never purchase an extended warranty again. I'd rather not relive the details other than to say to Best Buy: When you contract with a third party to provide a service, like that warranty, anything related to that experience reflects on your brand, your store. Work with better partners. Lastly, I'm going back there to look at buying new phones. read more

I would never buy anything again. I have had the nightmare experience from Best Buy. The sales department was awesome. If you are buying appliances talk to Anthony. However, when you spend thousands of dollars and items are delivered over and over with scratches this is typical. We bought a washer and dryer and the delivery team flooded our laundry room during installation and water was coming through my living room ceiling Best Buy did nothing. They delivered a fridge with scratches I ordered another one and the second one had the same issue. When asking for compensation for my time they pretty much laughed at me on the phone. This will be the 3rd time taking off of work to wait for a fridge to be delivered. When I asked them when they were going to come assess the damage to my ceiling they said some time next week. We were contacted a week later by that time we already had it fixed. We bought a brand new home and best buy ruined the whole experience. I have probably spent over 40 hours on the phone between being put on hold and disconnections and all they can say is sorry. Never again will I promote best buy. Whenever someone comes and looks at our home we tell them the horror story. We have several home being built in our neighborhood and I plan on making sure they are aware not to use best buy. Lets hope the next fridge is delivered with no scratches. read more
