A complete scam. I just wanted them to press my shirts. They charged me $120 for 6 of my button down shirts. Had zero stains too!! I called before and lady named Jenny said it would be around $6.00 each, then her husband decided to charge $20 each when I went to go pick them up. They are claiming $6.00 is only for men's shirts-- but 3 of the shirts were men's bc I like to wear men's for baggy fit. They added in all these extra that is a complete scam- how do you spot treat when there's no spotting! They made up all these spots on their own. Go somewhere else, but if you have to go here for whatever reason- make sure to check each of your item with them on the spot together! Don't just trust them like I did... you will get scammed. I am mad it took me this long to jump on Yelp for Jenny. Ths place is hands down, THE BEST! There is a reason it has been the Koreatown favorite for so many years. I honestly thought this place was good based upon reviews. It's ran by a Korean married couple. She doesn't speak English so it's hard to talk to her. I dropped off a dress, a brand new dress with minor soap sud stains. At first she immediately refused the cleaning without even having an understanding at all. She then gets her husband involved. He immediately said we can clean and steam the dress. No big deal I left the dress, but upon picking the dress up she adds on a $2 extra charge on my tab. I asked her what's this for? She said because he worked hard. Like come on lady don't get over on people because you need extra funds to pay your property rent etc. If I were Korean she would've never taxed me extra. I paid it with no problem but don't have a set price and add on tip because you think it's ok. Then when I inquired about the additional $2 she spoke English all of a sudden " come on it's only $2 " like WTH the lack of customer service isn't appreciated!! read more

Proceed with caution - may refuse clothes if they say they are too sweaty/ smell like sweat. The strangest part was that I brought in 5 items - 3 of them never worn - but they refused them all... Other reviews here have mentioned possible racism and refusal to take clothing, so take that as you will. Had a devaluing experience with them and won't be back. Update- Hand washed the clothes myself within an hour of leaving their shop. It literally took 5 minutes (minus soak time) to clean 5 garments twice. I don't know what exactly they do there, if they couldn't handle doing that cleaning themselves. It was that easy. It makes you wonder if there is another reason, especially after looking at Yelp reviews that allege discrimination. Whatever the reason, they devalued a customer in the process. I would 100% recommend you to give this place a try if you care about your clothes. I am very particular and try to avoid going to dry cleaners because most of the time it ends up being a more stressful experience than just dealing with the stain myself. But I had a jacket that had multiple stains from a long night and I had to try taking it somewhere after multiple failed attempts, although, I was pretty sure that getting the stains out was a lost cause. None-the-less after reading such positive reviews of the owners, I decided to give them a try. The reviews did not disappoint! They listen to your concerns and you can really see they are doing the best they can in cleaning every item they receive with an attention to detail. They are kind people who are genuinely trying to help you. The stains were completely removed back to brand new and I am sure that it was only possible because they actually care! I thought this place was good based on reviews. I brought in a trench coat that had coffee stains on it and showed exactly where the stains was and what needed to be cleaned. I also brought in an expensive blouse that needed to be overall cleaned. When I got my items back, my trench coat still had some stains on it around the belt area and even brought it up. My blouse was completely ruined. The fabric was torn and the ruffles on the fabric were detached from the blouse itself. I was so upset seeing this as this was an expensive blouse. I took my hanbok dresses for dry cleaning. This was the only place in K-town that took credit card that handled hanboks. They did a great job testing the materials and making sure that the dresses will be ok to go through dry cleaning first. Cost about $55 per dresses and they even adjusted them to add buttons that fell off. Took about 2 weeks to test them, dry clean them, and pick them up in total. read more

Within seconds of showing it to her, she immediately shook her head and said it was a waste of time. She told me it wasn't worth cleaning. She waved her hand at the jacket. It was dirty, probably impossible to get most of the stains out. But all I was asking for was a dry clean. I told her I would gladly pay extra... I pleaded with her to just dry clean it, if only just to get the dust out of it.... she looked at it like it was beneath her to clean. It just hurt so much to be told my jacket wasn't worthy of being dry cleaned. --- So I took it to Imperial Cleaners, just 2 blocks away, fighting tears I walked in, prepared for another rejection... but they treated me completely different. They also looked at my coat and said, it might not be fixable, but they lovingly accepted it and told me they would do what they could to clean it up. Honestly a -10 rating, would never ever come back nor advise anyone to go here. I would give 0 stars if that were possible. First , they completely ruined one of my shirts. They didn't ask any specific instructions so I'd assume they would read the care label instead of doing whatever they please. They starched tf outta the shirt, and this was a flowy blouse like what. I have no idea what made them think that was a good idea. It looks nothing like how it was, I can't even wear it or sell it at this point. And second, they stole the strings to my 800$ pants. These were my favorite pants, and when I called back to see if they misplaced it or had a lost and found pile, the woman was unbelievably rude and told me they threw it away. I've been coming to Manhattan for a year now since i moved to Koreatown. The prices are very fair and they always do a great job cleaning my work clothes. They are much cheaper than the location I used to go to in west LA and they are very friendly. It is a husband and wife team and i love supporting local businesses. Jenny is always very friendly. I even had them clean and box my wedding gown for me. It will be guaranteed not to change color or yellow for 100 years if I keep it in the box (and in a cool dry location). I even gave them my Chinese tea ceremony dress to clean and the knots fell off because they were cheaply made. The owner was so kind and is repairing my cheap Chinese dress for me! He is improving my dress quality. - No credit card if the bill is under $10 - Parking is street parking. There is a green meter right near the corner, but the last time I put change in, it sucked my money. I usually just run in and get out now. There is one yellow loading zone spot further down Manhattan. - They do take a little longer than the larger chain type dry cleaners so don't expect overnight cleaning.
