We purchased a 75-inch television on June 12 from the 14610 N Meridian Street store in Carmel, IN, and it still hasn't been delivered!!! We paid for the television, paid for a top of the line mount, paid to have it installed, paid for the warranty, and got the Best Buy credit card and we have been treated like trash. We have made at least eight calls and have been given the run around on every call. The person set to deliver the tv called and said they couldn't find the television and would not be coming as scheduled. We continued to call Best Buy and got nowhere except a later date the tv would be installed, but they canceled that delivery too! By the way, if you call the phone number listed for the store the call does not go to the store but to a general Best Buy call center. The situation is long and bad. The last time I shopped at Best Buy (Cincinnati) I had a really bad experience so I hesitated to go there again. This time I bought an apple product online and went to have it delivered by curbside at the Best Buy store in Westfield. There was no way to reach the store once I was parked at curbside so I called, and after 5 minutes finally got a human being. He told me that someone would be out in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later, I hobbled into the store ( bad ankle) and it was sitting at customer service. I heard a manager say that they're having problems with curbside. I believe that we vote with our wallets and I immediately asked for a credit and returned the AirPods. They clearly only care about online sales now. We went in to look for a camera, having purchased cameras quite satisfactorily at this store in the past. They had exactly four on a shelf. I asked an employee named Izaak, whose tone and body language conveyed he could not have cared less if he tried. I asked if they only had those four, and he said they had others in stock. I asked how customers would know what was I stock if they were not on the shelf. He then looked up what they had on his device, and they did not have what we were looking for. At no point did he apologize for their store giving customers no reason whatsoever to enter or even to suggest that there were more options on their website. read more

As a My Best Buy Total member, I was met with unprofessionalism, wasted time, and zero resolution. The "rubber feet" on my computer were falling off, and after consulting with online support, I was assured this issue could be handled in-store with Geek Squad in Westfield. Following their advice, I scheduled an appointment. I arrived 5 minutes early, as instructed, but waited over 40 minutes past my scheduled time before anyone acknowledged me. To make matters worse, another customer cut the line and the employee at the desk prioritized them, ignoring the line of waiting customers. After my lengthy wait, my knight in shining armor, Chris, comes out and asks everyone in line if they have an appointment. I told him I had one 40 minutes ago and he had me come up to the desk. I explained my conversation with the online agent and the issue I was having only to be told that Geek Squad couldn't assist. Instead, I was advised to use rubber glue to fix it myself. When I asked if they had any rubber glue, Chris began to look on his tablet to tell me what aisle I could purchase rubber glue from. Once I clarified there was no way I was buying anything from him and I was asking if they had any in the repair area, he told me they most likely do have rubber glue but they couldn't help me, leaving me to solve the simplest problem on my own after wasting nearly an hour. I knew before I went in that I could buy rubber glue and do it myself, I just wanted it "professionally" done without buying an entire tub of rubber glue for one small issue. I wish I could say I expected better as a paying member, but this is just one of many bad experiences I have had. Unfortunately, it seems Geek Squad and Best Buy still have a long way to go in delivering reliable customer care. I recommend others think twice before paying for a membership with promises they can't deliver. read more

In a time where companies are shutting down brick and mortar stores I'm shocked to see Best Buy still open if the experience in this store is what they believe is good customer service. I have always had good experiences here at this location. Knowledgeable employees and decent selection, and if they don't have it in stock you can order online and shop to store or home. I am happy that this location is conveniently close to my home. I usually shop online at bestbuy.com and pick up in store. It is fast and easy to run in and pickup online orders. There are other, safer options. But, if you absolutely have to go here, do not, under any circumstances bring your family. Made an appointment with Geek Squad for an iPhone 11 screen replacement. Arrived on time for the appointment and after 40minutes, was told to return in 90mins. Returned 90mins later only to learn the screen repair completed but there is now a shadow in bottom right corner of the screen. $200 repair for a new screen and new issue they cannot understand how it happened. I was ready to drop 1K on a new laptop, and my decision to forgo purchasing from Best Buy is entirely based on one employee who made us feel incredibly unwelcome and disrespected(Tyler, on the evening of 2/13/21). I realize my measly money isn't much in the big picture but everyone else's reviews seem to reflect the same kind of treatment we received. It wasn't a one off. We are never greeted or offered assistance when we come in and we're almost always there for a very specific product or service. It's actually a game for us at this point...to see who will actually be offered help or can find adequate help first. I needed a phone and I needed it right now; last Friday was my last day at my old job and I needed to roll my phone # and my contacts over to a new phone and have it active immediately. This Best Buy feels a little smaller than the others but it gets the job done. I can usually find what I'm looking for and they usually have it in stock. Service tends to be noticeably slow and I don't normally leave a lower review when something bad happens but seems out of the ordinary for them...however I was pretty appalled during my most recent visit where the person helping me was doing fine but had no hustle and the MANAGER there was extremely rude to him and was dismissive of him...and talked poorly to me and others about him when he stepped away. I have a medical condition with doctors note stating not to wear mask covering mouth but not nose. I went in, got what I needed and went to pay. Checkout person stated he couldn't sell me until I put a mask covering nose. I explained my condition and had note available but he would still not allow me to purchase. I have not been in one retail store that has not accepted a customers medical condition whether it be retail centers, grocery stores, or hardware stores. The manager didn't even come up to me and offer any solutions like curbside. Instead he hid behind a radio. I have no problem with social distancing, masks or what ever a business feels they need to do but they don't make exceptions for customers with medical conditions. I stopped in this morning to check out an Apple Watch and was lucky enough to get to work with Xavier in the store. I will be the first to admit that I am pretty much in the Dark Ages when it comes to anything dealing with technology, and Xavier was patient in listening to my questions and went out of his way to take the time to answer them for me. When I was uncertain as to whether the 38 or 42 size was best for my wrist, he even went the extra mile to take off his own Apple Watch and allow me to see how the larger size one looked.
