My sister introduced me to this place, and boy am i happy she did. She took me right after class and to be honest didnt too sure about it. NOWWW.... I go every 3 to 5 weeks! Only place. I always get the same haircut. Infact i dont even know what haircut i get... The ladies there remember it for me... LOL... Make sure you give at least a $4 tip because THEY DESERVE IT. This review is LONG overdue. Anne at Best Cuts has been cutting my son's hair since he was about a year old. She is patient, kind, and very talented with children. They have a large selection of toys for kids to play with and are very affordable. Drop by in the AM to get your cut, you should be able to walk right in or wait just a few minutes. read more

This is the third time that I been here. Always a good place for a haircut, the only issue That I had today was the fellow who cut my hair was in a hurry to get me out of the chair. I don't like to feel rushed when I'm getting a haircut, it gives the appearance of rushed service. I just moved to the area, and have been agonizing for awhile about where to get my hair cut. My hair finally got so mangy I decided to just find a place and go. I read the yelp reviews, and decided to give Best Cuts a try. I'm really glad I did! I walked in, and only waited a few minutes before being called. The woman (I think she was the owner) was so nice, sweet, and professional. I got a shampoo and a cut, and she probably washed my hair for a good ten minutes, and it felt amazing. She even rubbed my temples a little, and it was JUST what I needed after a stressful week. She listened to the description of what I wanted, and even after I changed my mind about how short I wanted it mid-cut, she still was so sweet. The price was very reasonable as well. This place is not all that great. I came here because of all the great yelp reviews but maybe this place if for mens cuts? They acknowledge every walk in customer and will get started on your cuts right away.. only thing is that they dont wash your hair? Im speaking from my experience. They use spray water bottles and I have a lot of hair idk if your supposed to ask them for shampoo and hair cut and blowdry. But if im paying $26 for my hair cut and style id at least expect my hair to be at least washed. oh also once the gentleman finished my hair cutt I didnt get it blow dried ? When I had asked for hair cut and style. Once I got home and washed my own hair and blow dried it. I was pretty disappointed my hair looked too short and was thinned out way too much If I straighten out my hair I got lots of short hairs sticking out... :( yea sorry I guess if u want cheap this is the place to go. You get what you pay for.. not impressed at all.. for that reason this place gets a two stars because im nice. Sorry that I have expectations..thankfully Im one of those persons that knows my hair will grow back . My sons and I have been getting our hair cuts here for a few years now. Way better than Supercuts and is actually cheaper. They haven't had that much turn over, with the exception of the original guys who moved on to start another place (I think). They always remember us and ask when one of our group isn't there. Most importantly the cuts are good and consistent. read more

I went to this place by a referral and I was just visiting a friend in that area. I read some of the Yelp review so I gave it a try since I was kind of wanting to get a trim. I asked for the owner since her name was all over the place on their site but the workers said she was not available so they put me to anyone that was available, I came to find out the owner was right next to me cutting someone else's hair, I figured, oh well she was probably busy anyway. I just wanted the same style as the one I had and just a little shorter, the guy kept saying try him out, so I did. The result was horrible, my hair is uneven and I said this was not what I wanted, he said he cannot do it again otherwise he had to redo it all over and it is too difficult, all I wanted was the same shape as I came in but a little shorter, he did not help me redo it of course, I didn't make a big deal out of it which I should have. My hair is HORRIBLE and I will never go back there again!! This place is overly rated and I did not have a pleasant experience. read more

Best cuts in Benicia. False advertisement on prices of haircuts. The ad for Senior haircut was for $13.00. But I was charged $18.00 after it was done. .Beware make sure you settle the price first before sitting on the barber chair. I timed the stylist and it only took him 15minutes to trim my hair. I went in there to get a trim. A little trimmed off. The gentleman clearly didn't understand English so I had the girl translate for him. Unfortunately, translation or not, he clearly does not know how to cut hair. I would check his license for authenticity. My hair is ruined and uneven. I finally stopped the process when he began blow drying my hair, and you could obviously see that it was uneven!!! I got up and said enough. It was clear to me that the guy just cuts your hair any way he wants, and that would be ok, except that it horribly uneven and a 2 yr old could have done the same thing. They need to get that guy out of there. read more
