When we sat down right away we didn't have to wait, I've told the lady I wanted an acrylic fill and nail shape change to almond, lady responded "okay but it's $10 extra charge." And I agreed with that, then I wanted chrome I wanted a green chrome color. I think she found what she looking for the nail last responded with"it $5 extra charge you want!? " I said no. Then she's started cleaning hear station and while filing my nails she started talking to her colleagues in their language I couldn't understand of what was being said but very unprofessional. While she was filing my nail; the nail lady filed down my nails a lot harder than before. And when she was filing my shapes to create the shape that I chose; I looked at my nails I didn't say anything yet. The nail lady said" what's wrong with nail?" I answered my left thumb and ring finger is crooked." Then she said " I know I'm not done." I sense attitude from her and kept her to her colleagues in their language. (She kept on talking to her colleagues in the entire appointment and spoke to me and husband in English). Over all experience was fine not the best, I like the overall shape of my nails but the quality wasn't best. There are some spots that are properly filled down and uneven buffing, the acrylic application was not properly it's uneven and she's the wrong tools for filing and buffing my nails. I never once was used a proper tool or even sterilized her after she used them. All of tool were dirty. (She use the same brush to wipe dust on my nails and use the same brush to dust off dirt/dust on the counter and used it again on my nails. VERY unhygienic!! )) We won't be coming because my nail lady gave me attitude and I didn't feel comfortable when everyone was speaking in their language and I don't know any what they are talking about, not professional. Lastly to end with this she didn't sterilize her tools and equipment.

She was so attentive to details and friendly. She tested 3 colors on me before I settled on the one I liked. Total was $60 for the pedicure I chose + $15 gel polish. My daughter had an appointment for a specific service, but she was talked into something completely different. She walked out with uneven nails and poor-quality artwork. When we called, the front desk assured us they would redo her nails and make things right. When we arrived, every nail tech stopped what they were doing to stare at us. They were whispering among themselves, and the tech who originally did my daughter's nails, July, came over in an intimidating manner. She even talked the new tech out of redoing the nails, despite the front desk promising otherwise. At that point, I had no choice but to demand a refund. The entire situation was embarrassing and unprofessional, and it felt like the whole salon was watching instead of helping. No customer -- especially a young girl -- should be treated that way.

A friend of mine introduced me to Tina at Pleasant Nails about 5 years ago and I can honestly say that Tina is the only nail technician that has been able to make my nails look natural and pretty! I still keep them short but I don't have to hide them. The gel works best for me - never chips or picks off! There was only one other customer in the salon so I was helped immediately. I sat in the pedicure chair and they asked if I wanted the manicure at the same time. I said that would be fine. From the moment they started, I felt rushed. The person working on my feet essentially just tapped my nails with the cuticle pusher. The cuticle wasn't touched let alone pushed. She did the same thing with the cuticle nippers. She just touched my nails, of course if you don't push the cuticle I guess there is not much to clip. She set an alarm when doing the "massage", which I had never seen before. I didn't mind because it keeps everyone honest on the duration of the "massage". I use quotes around "massage" because it felt more like someone just applying lotion. She was jerking my foot back and forth and nothing about it was relaxing. After she was done she left me at the chair to dry. I usually sit in the chair with the massage feature on while my toes dry. She came back to me about 5 minutes later (give or take), took the toe divider off my toes, put my shoes on, and lifted the arm rest for me to leave. Wow! I guess my time is up. I was not taking space for other customers. There were 4 other customers and they were being helped. There were several open chairs. From entering to exiting the store, I was maybe in there for 35 minutes. When I left I felt my nails looked ok, but not great. As I said before, I've been coming here for years and have never been treated this way. The last two times have been subpar and sadly I think I will look for a new salon. So disappointing.

She wanted acrylics in a soft white with a white chrome finish. The nail tech was very nice and really took her time to make sure the length and shape were exactly how my daughter wanted. Right before applying the chrome, they let me know it would be an additional $15. I was a little surprised, since that seemed pretty expensive, but they explained it was a higher-end chrome. We went ahead with it, and the final total came to $70 (before tip). Overall, my daughter is very happy with how her nails turned out they look beautiful. I'm just a little overwhelmed by the extra charge for the chrome.
