This review is for the service department:…read more David and I brought our 2002 Honda CRV in for its 15 year old recall on the airbag firing mechanism (I think) While this was possibly the most adult thing I have ever done (Joe in service said that his girlfriend has an 7 year outstanding recall, so I'm not the only one!) the real adults were the service department employees who got us in ASAP and completed the repair within 30 minutes of our arrival. We barely had time to eat the pizza we brought along before Joe was at the table telling us that our car was ready and waiting. In that 30 minutes however, I was dismayed by the behavior of two showroom employees. One, a mature woman with red hair, actually stopped and snorted at David and made a rude comment and the other, a tall youngish male with slightly long hair, spoke dismissively about a woman who apparently had been left waiting in the front because she had asked to see someone right away. :/ But Joe and the service department were amazing ! We needed another car, and I decided to try them again. I found a car I was interested in, but the web site said it was still being serviced. That was on a Wednesday. The following morning I got an email asking if I'd like to make an appointment to test drive it that day or the next. I explained that I was two hours away, and would try to make it there on Saturday. I made an appointment, and contacted them again on Saturday morning saying I would be a little later. She replied saying that was no problem. I got down there and told the receptionist I had an appointment with that person, and was told that the woman I was emailing was just a scheduler. They assigned me to a salesperson, who took an unusually long time to bring the car out. The first thing he did was open the trunk, and it was littered with coloring books, a women's purse, and other things. We got in the car, and my wife noticed a foot-long crack in the windshield. I started the car, and saw that the display screen was cracked on both edges, with the image only showing in the middle of the display. A warning light was on as well. I started moving through the lot slowly, and heard a metallic scraping from the right front wheel, and every imperfection in the parking lot caused loud thunking noises from the left rear suspension. As I accelerated on the street, there was a loud buzzing like the left rear tire was rubbing against the fender. I turned around after a half a block and returned to the dealership. The salesman asked if there was another car I might be interested in. There was another car, though with more miles than I wanted, that I might consider. Their website had said that was in detailing. After another long wait, the salesman returned to say the car wasn't even on the lot but was being serviced at another location. So my wife and I spent an hour at the dealership, four hours driving, and a tank of gas, for nothing. And the salesman let slip that the "woman" who invited me down and arranged the appointment was an A.I. bot. Why bother being inconvenienced by having an employee spend a minute or two emailing or texting a customer what the real situation is, when you can have an A.I. bot create an alternate reality and put five hours of inconvenience on the customer. Who cares about losing the customer and getting bad reviews, I guess. And to top it off, a sales manager texted me the following day to see how things went. He apologized, and asked what other car I was looking at. I then received a phone call from another salesperson, and a follow up text saying "I'm sorry to hear about your experience before. Hopefully I can make it better in the future... Once it's out of service, I'll let you know!" I continued to check the status of the car on their web site, but it still said it was in service. I finally put my contact info into the web site again, and then was told that it had been sold. I never heard back from the salesperson that it was out of service. Maybe the sales manager and other salesperson were A.I. bots, too.

Mike C. was fantastic to work with and I can't recommend him enough as he was the primary reason I returned to Cascade to move forward with the purchase. I have never ever in my life owned a new car or purchased a car from a dealer. I was super nervous about this purchase and did a lot of research about vehicles I was interested in. I had a visit at another dealership to test drive a different manufacturer's vehicle to compare this experience to and both myself and my husband were very impressed with the difference in working with Mike C. as the salesperson at Cascade. Our first test drive he accompanied us as we drove the SUV around including a lovely trip through the Cuyahoga Valley, and he demonstrated many of the safety features and educated us thoroughly about the car. After the test drive he sat down with us and gave us some preliminary ideas about cost which lined up with prices I'd discovered during my research about the vehicle's going MSRP and such. A few months passed as I mulled over new vs. used and what car I wanted. Ultimately the great feel of the Forester, its top safety rating and reviews from Consumer reports, and the superb test-drive and no pressure conversation with Mike led me to call them up and move forward with the purchase. I called to make sure Mike was available and did another test-drive. Then we started the negotiation process and - armed with another dealer's out the door offer for the vehicle and the fact that it was quarter end - I was able to negotiate the price down to a VERY reasonable offer according to both TrueCar, KBB, and CoPilot for the particular trim and extra features (and in a color preference as well.) While the vehicle was not in stock yet (in transit as seems to happen frequently with these fast-moving cars) it arrived a couple days later and I worked with Mike to finalize the paperwork other than the financial agreement stuff. He helped me get the app set up so I can remote start my car and adjust the temperature and he also called up my insurance company to help get those details squared-away. Another employee, Peter, gave me a very thorough overview of the many features in the car so I would be comfortable driving it and the financial process was made very easy for me as well. I would recommend Cascade - and in particular the Subaru dealership and Mike C. to anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle. I look forward to additional great experiences with them for service and maintenance!

I strongly urge anyone considering doing business with this dealership DO NOT DO IT or proceed with extreme caution. On October 22, 2025, I purchased a 2021 Dodge Durango Citadel from this dealership. Before finalizing the purchase, I specifically reviewed the Carfax report with salesperson Malik Jenkins. The report noted prior damage, and I explicitly asked for more details. I was told there were no photos available and was assured, clearly and directly that the damage was minor and limited to the front bumper, purely cosmetic, and that the vehicle had been fully inspected. Within days of taking possession, the vehicle began making loud, unusual noises. Concerned, I eventually brought it to a certified Dodge dealership for inspection. What they found was shocking: structural damage to the front crossmember, a critical part of the vehicle's subframe. This is not cosmetic damage, it is a serious safety issue. The component showed clear signs of prior impact and attempted repair and required full replacement. Let me be absolutely clear: structural/subframe damage is not "minor bumper damage." It directly affects the safety, integrity, and value of the vehicle. Had I been told the truth, I would never have purchased this vehicle under any circumstances. The dealership is now claiming that I "understood there was prior structural damage." That is completely false. At no point was structural damage disclosed. Instead, the damage was minimized and misrepresented. A signature on paperwork does not equal informed consent when material facts are misrepresented or withheld. This situation leaves only two possibilities: * The dealership knew about the structural damage and failed to disclose it, or * They failed to properly inspect the vehicle despite claiming that it had been inspected and was safe Either scenario is UNACCEPTABLE. I made multiple attempts to resolve this issue directly with emails, phone calls, and even certified mail to management, but received no meaningful response or accountability. As a result of this experience, I am now dealing with thousands of dollars in repairs, diminished vehicle value, and the stress of having unknowingly driven an unsafe vehicle. This was not just poor customer service, this was deceptive and underhanded business conduct. Misrepresenting a vehicle's condition, especially when it involves structural safety issues, is completely unacceptable. They're claiming that because I initialed paperwork stating there was no damage, I'm now responsible for serious issues that didn't even present themselves until days later; despite being told the vehicle was in good condition. An underhanded position that ignores the reality that no reasonable buyer would seek an inspection when the car appeared to run perfectly and was represented as sound. I would not trust this dealership to be transparent or honest about the condition of any vehicle they sell. BUYERS BEWARE! They also have a lot of complaints on AG site, I wish I had looked at that first. I'm going to share with you my experience with Ken ganley Toyota of Akron. I've been very pleased with the 2017 Cherokee I bought for my daughter a few years ago. I set up a search alert on cars.com for a Cherokee 2019 or newer. Up popped a Trailhawk Elite which is basically the regular Cherokee but it's lifted a bit and looks kind of cool and has a hist of safety systems like emergency braking Lane departure etc to help keep a 16-year-old driver safe. I contacted the dealer and met a salesman by the name of Chauncey Clausen... Like the pickle he said. I made arrangements to drive to Akron which is about an hour away to test drive the vehicle and give it a once over. NADA had this vehicle about 6,500 more than it was listed. They did a fair job detailing it and Chauncey was kind and personable. He explained to me the process and we took the car for a test drive and I immediately saw that the service four-wheel drive light was on. It shouldn't have been because of their multi-point inspection they put the cars through before they put them on the lot. The interior was in great shape the exterior was also in great shape for 67,000 mi. I told Chauncey of the service four wheel drive light and we made a deal of my purchase of the car contingent upon investigating and repairing whatever was wrong with the four-wheel drive light. Two days later the Toyota store gave up on trying to fix it and sent it to the Jeep store where they diagnosed it needed a PTU also known as a transfer case. Here is where I'm appreciative of chauncey, and Ken ganley Toyota. I worked very closely with the Jeep store and the part alone was about $3,200, which the dealership unfortunately had to absorb per the deal. They were very clear and upfront with me and some good natured ribbing made me realize that they are definitely in the red on this deal. But they went through it anyway. It took 5 weeks to get the car repaired and fortunately I was not in a hurry and am very patient. I got to see Chauncey again upon delivery and dealing with the f and I guy was also a very quick and painless experience. I was pre-qualified and had a loan from my credit union so I was aware that this deal was probably not going to net them any profit. The purpose of my post is not to rub it in but to explain that there are some folks that will stick by their agreements and follow through. This dealership probably could have pulled the deal and this review would look very different than it does right now. Overall I'm very happy with the car and I do have to do some repairs and upgrades that are commensurate with the wear and tear one would expect. But overall my salesman Chauncey was quite the righteous dude. Honest forthright up front and a genuine nice fella. If Mr ganley does get to read this I hope you will throw Chauncey a couple of bucks as he is a statesman of this dealership. This will be my second car I have purchased from ganley. Overall I really can't think of anything other than to say thanks and it was a pleasure doing business with you.

My husband did his due diligence and found a vehicle that met our requirements at this dealership. He communicated with 'Emily' and 'Kennedy' via text regarding the car and had a quote. We were preparing to make the 7 hour drive to purchase it when he heard back from Deepan Sonar, Sales/Lease Consultant who informed him that there was a $10k markup on the car 'due to the high demand'. This is ridiculous and felt fraudulent. Needless to say, my husband ended the call with Deepan and we did not purchase the car from Ganley. We found the exact car (including the cool color!) with minimal dealer add-one at a FANTASTIC dealership in Pennsylvania, completed the deal in under an hour and we're back on the road home. Don't be deceived- due your homework and find the ethical and stellar dealership down the road. Good luck!
