It's a 24hrs donut shop, convenient for late night craving for sweets. However, the downside of this place is their service wasn't great, let alone only very limited quantity and flavors left.

Quick and easy donut pick up at an intersection that gets you every which way in the beach cities. Always fresh and delicious on your way to work or to bring home to the kids. The staff is fast and friendly. There's room inside to stay and enjoy your sweet treat, or head on down toward the beach and catch some sun!

My wife and I tried this donut establishment with a Too Good To Go order. We got a good sized paper bag of donuts - with just a staple to seal it. The quality of the donuts were quite ok. They were light, fluffy, and soft on the inside, and sugar on the outside. The dough flavor today tasted slightly sour, much to my wife's dislike. Inside, the staff were nice and professional, and the menu looked quite modernized with some specialty donut options. * Glaze Donut was good except for the slightly sour dough taste. * Blueberry Cake donut was actually quite good! Light and soft on the inside with subtle blueberry flavor Overall ambience was clean and welcoming

Name says it all. When I first started working in LA about 10 years ago I couldn't believe how many donut shops there were all over the place. And now that I've lived here for a few years, I realize there's a lot of conversations about favorite donuts. I stopped here today in between work stops, And was delighted to find out that they had cronuts. I had never had one and I didn't even know they existed on the West Coast. It's delightful. Really flaky and nice. I could see how they could become very addictive. Besides cronuts and donuts they have specialty donuts, Breakfast sandwiches, Some other baked goods, Really great coffee, Soft drinks, I'm even some vegan specials. Service is very fast and very friendly. And the pricing is really great for LA. You can get a coffee and a regular donut for about 5 bucks. Specialty donuts and cronuts are more. But not much more. There's not seating inside so this is definitely a takeaway place.

I am so glad I dropped by this place. Best Donuts is located in the Lazy Acres shopping center next to Mama D's. I was curious and tried their glazed raised donut, a crumb powdered sugar cake, a cinnamon sugar, chocolate, and matcha mochi donuts. The customer service was great and the cashier was very friendly. She said they are open 24 hours from Monday through Thursday. The glazed donut was average and not very chewy. The crumb powdered sugar cake was a little dry. I like cake donuts that taste like cake, and this was not it. However, I did find my favorite MOCHI DONUTS here, and they are the best!! They are $3 each. You have definitely got to come here to try them, and you will be addicted! I can't wait to come back. The mochi donuts are on the smaller side and do not look very appealing, but they are incredibly chewy and not greasy at all. My favorite shop for mochi donuts is Fill Bake Shop in Costa Mesa... but this place is truly the best for mochi donuts. They also sell croissants, burritos, and a variety of other items. I'm going to order their fresh squeezed orange juice on my next visit! Happy eating!

This place has donuts but not twist or regular glazed donuts. What kind of donut place is this without the glaze or twist.

Manhattan Beach Creamery - 2 scoops ice cream in cup: cookie dough and sea salted caramel...delicious!

Hand packed quart: I love that this is $15/16. In a world where pints are edging closer to $13, it's nice to still know a place that rewards you when buying more from them. I like how the ice cream looks soft enough off the scooping area that the person hand packing the quart can do it relatively quickly. Chocolate: I think it's above average, but I won't question it if you think that it's just fine. Chocolate for me has always been about finding that line of "not too sweet" and finding that hint of bitterness to get you down from that sugary high. I feel that this place finds that balance well. Ambiance: The place is dated, borderline vintage. I think they should lean into it, and I think they do. Service: Professional, quick, and what you want when buying dessert. Yes, there is a line, but it runs pretty quickly.

While I've been here a few times this is my first formal review. I came with my family one Sunday evening on a hot July day, bypassing several chains on the way, including the new(er) Salt and Straw across the street. The inside is packed to the brim with sweets, small toys, and people, much like a candy shop of old. After reaching the front of the winding line our family shared a Banana Split ($13) - three scoops of ice cream, a split banana, hot fudge, a single dry topping (we chose coconut), whipped cream, and a trio of cherries - about as classic as it comes. The ice cream was good but not exceptional. The chocolate and strawberry were fairly generic, but I liked the third scoop of banana foster ice cream which had a nice banana kick. I doubt this ice cream is home made. The complements and construction to the sundae were great, however, and the flavors came together well. As I would hope for a location like this, the staff are local youths who served with patience and passion. In cases throughout the store are several of their other specialties - ice cream cookie sandwiches, dipped frozen bananas, and more - inviting repeat visits. Prices are elevated but not crazy for such a trendy area, although I would say with the middling quality of the ice cream a couple dollars less would be fine. Overall, Manhattan Beach Creamery is a local landmark worth at least a single visit for anyone in the area. If you can get past the generic, if a little boring, ice cream flavor and rampant commodification of the interior, you'll find a classic ice cream parlor with great service and history. Is it worth a repeat visit? I leave that to you. Food: 4/5 Service: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 4/5

They have two main types of donuts -- super dense and cakey, or lighter and airy. Most are the cakey variety, so if you are into lighter Krispy Kreme type donuts, there won't be many options for you. They have some interesting flavors to choose from. I have tried both the thick, crumbly ones and the lighter variety. Both are high quality, but their cake donuts are just way too dense and chewy for my liking. I did enjoy their light vanilla glazed traditional style donut, but at more than $1/bite, it's not worth it in my opinion. They do have good, made-to-order coffee; iced oat milk latte with a touch of vanilla is my go-to. Props to the staff for keeping the line moving, offering suggestions, and making good drinks. I'm giving 5 stars because there's nothing bad to report, I'm just more of a Krispy Kreme or rundown mom & pop donut shop kinda guy.
