It's a nice staple of the local Beryl St and 190th St block since I moved here. I gave it a try and liked the owners of the coffee shop and became a third place for me to walk to to brighten my day for the past 5 years, getting a homemade breakfast sandwich, their regular hazelnut Hawaiian coffee or a milk tea drink sometimes just to hangout and enjoy the cheerfully decorated space outside of home for a bit before getting on with my day of work or weekend errands. Service is quick and friendly and the selection of baked treats, drinks and sandwiches are delicious. They've been steadily growing their staff and cafe furnishings and refurbished counter spaces and layout design, through out the years. Love the improvements and designs that brings a bit of joy to the plaza. Not needed to go to Starbucks as much or convenience markets for a quick brunch. Amazing breakfast croissant! The Green Garden croissant was fantastic! It consists of Thousand Island, fresh mozzarella cheese, spinach, sprouts, and olives. Generous amounts of everything in a large croissant cut in half. Fresh and delish. Their decaf Americano was perfect. They have either half and half, hazelnut, or French vanilla creamer. It's a small bakery with a few tables. It was a busy morning so they didn't get a moment to buss the table that I was at. Service at the counter was okay. I was going to try their popular ube cookie later but lines were forming and I had to get going. Hope to try them another time. Location is on Beryl Street in the Vons plaza. Redondough -- what a clever name for a ridiculously delicious bakery nestled in Redondo Beach! I try to swing by every chance I get when visiting friends in LA, and it never disappoints. The smell alone when you walk in is enough to make you ditch any diet plans. Everything here is baked fresh, and you can TASTE the difference. Flaky, buttery, gooey goodness in every bite. You really need to come and try Redondough asap. I had passed this place many times but never stopped. That all changed last week. I stopped in at 7am before work and my life has now been changed forever!! For the rest of my life I don't think any other bakery or cafe will compare to Redondough!!!! My first time stopping in a had a Snickerdoodle Cookie and a slice of lemon bread. This was the best Snickerdoodle cookie I have taste in my entire life. It was moist on the inside and a slight crisp around the edges on the outside. The lemon bread was a home run. The slice was huge and moist, the icing was delicious, it reminded me of my grandma's Lemon bread. I came back again the next day to get another snickerdoodle cookie and Pauline who tended to me was the sweetest person ever. I also got the pumpkin Bread and a cherry turn over. Again life changing for the better. No other bakery comes close to Redondough. I will be coming back again and again as long as I can. We randomly stopped by about a month ago for the first time. They have a deal if you spend $35 or more you get a free loaf of bread with it. We took it because it was free. But now we are super hooked and go back almost every week for a fresh loaf. We used to get stuff at the store and now we make a specific trip up here just for bread. It is amazing and brings us back. Great spot nestled in the strip center next to Von's on Beryl and Prospect. This is an updated review. However, I love it just as much as I did before! The owner and his family were the prior owners of the Donut Den on PCH in South Torrance. Redondough is much more than a donut shop. In fact, donuts are just a small part of what they offer. Their menu includes sandwiches, croissants, cookies and a number of other amazing items. A couple of my favorite items here is their hot chicken salad sandwich. Initially, it didn't sound very good, but boy was I wrong. It's my staple every time I visit Redondough. Another must try are their freshly baked cookies.
