I remember when I turned 21, I purchased my first legal scratcher at BEST DONUTS and still continue to buy them here. My favorite donut is the blueberry donut, the cinnamon roll, the huge butterfly donut they have for just 1 dollar, and their ham & cheese croissants are delightful! Every single worker here is a joy in my life and honestly, I enjoy this restaurant even more because they always remember me! I am immensely joyous to write this amazing review because of the positive vibes the workers and staff give to me at every visit. Best Donuts has a great variety of foods, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, Boba teas, etc. My two sisters love the Green Thai Boba tea with extra Boba and the workers here all know it! Yum! :) I'm always on the lookout for new donut shops. I noticed Best Donuts on my yelp map the other day and knew I had to try! They were well stocked on Monday morning. The staff was friendly. I got an apple fritter and buttermilk bar along with some old fashioned donuts and a chocolate long john. They were good! And when I opened my box, I discovered she threw in a pumpkin donut for me to try!! Haha. Gotta love free and delicious! I also got a Thai iced tea which was decent. I'm a huge, long time bosa fan and this place (so far) can compete! Prices seemed a bit cheaper too, but not positive. I will definitely be back for more! read more

A small shop located on the end of a small out door mall. The display case if full of one great looking donut after another. The smell of fresh baked donuts hits you as soon as you open the door. The big decision is how many do you get. I had a chocolate covered chocolate cream filled and a glazed with cream filling. Both were fresh and so delicious. They also have all of the coffees, hot chocolate and cold drinks that you might want. There are a few tables, but this is primarily a stop and go donut shop. The service was quick and very friendly. They seriously have the freshest best tasting donuts plus also incredible money saving prices! The staff always very polite and welcoming. Today I came in and ordered a half dozen for $5 and could not decide on 2 other flavors so the kind patient woman behind the counter gave me them for free!!! She clearly seen how torn I was between flavors but I wanted to keep the half dozen price. LOL so she simply gave them to me complimentary. Now THAT is what you call customer service! Clearly worth my drive from Scottsdale. In the end I paid an average of .71 cents per donut, certainly value for your money..PLUS their donuts taste so much better than any other place I've been to. Best Donuts lives up to their name! They are definitely the best shop to go to for that sweet tooth craving if you live in the South Phoenix area. I have a thing for local donut shops and this one lives up to par with my expectations. The place is very clean, we even walked in to someone cleaning. Staff is so nice, even threw in an extra donut! I picked up a half dozen donuts around 7:30 pm; not exactly the freshest donuts ever but they were still very good which leads me to believe that they would taste even better in the morning. They're all light, fluffy, sweet without being cloying, and clearly made with care and high quality ingredients.
