I purchased a $6,000.00 appliance package yesterday for a remodel project. I was told by the salesman Allan that he would send me the invoice that afternoon, which was never received. I called a day later and asked Allan about it, he said he forgot. when I questioned how he could forget to send a receipt for such a big ticket item he became very abusive and rude, he was offended that I had the nerve to ask him the question. Apparently my business is not appreciated and the sales people are not instructed to treat customers with a little respect. He said he will cancel the order and refund my money. Time will tell if he does this or "forgets" again. read more

When I renovated my kitchen not too long ago...I did my homework!! I replaced my fridge, range, sink, counters, fixtures, and exhaust hood. DID I EVER DO SOME HOMEWORK here!!! It came down to 2 places - Home Depot and Best Home Appliances. Best Home Appliances won the bid for some of the specialty items that Home Depot didnt stock - like my exhaust hood. They also were the only ones in the city that could find the light bulbs for it- next time I will FLY to Italy to get them!!! They were timely and well-priced . It was a great experience and if I can help anyone have a positive experience in renovating or replacing applicances - I would highly recommend them. read more

Horrible experience! Ordered an almost 10,000$$$ gas stove. It came in for the incorrect gas type. After SW gas came out to discover the Actual Stove was leaking we asked Best Appliance to Oder us a new one (since entire new 300k $ kitchen remodeling was around this stove) we asked for an old cheap loaner and to get a new one on order....pretty nice right?...considering its a Gas situation in our home. Well...the Owner Mike proceeded to tell me he Would not oder another and that it was the distributors fault not Best home appliances and to come pick up our money and GO else where to get our replacement.....AND HUNG UP ON ME. (Read other comment where salesman hung up on them) this place can't take responsibility for anything! Needless to say our situation will be now worked out by our lawyer! My advice for dealing with Best Appluance Bell road....lace up your sneakers and don't walk...run away as fast as possible! read more

I would recommend this store over any of the big box stores. Randy was super knowledgeable and didn't try to sell you anything that he didn't believe in. He was extremely honest and forthcoming on what was great and what sucked about each appliance. As a consumer, I appreciated that honesty. We bought a washer and dryer from them, and were so pleased with their customer service, that we went back and bought a fridge from them as well. The purchase process was easy, and we got a great price! They would get 5 stars if I didn't have an issue with the guy that they get to do their deliveries: Clarence Goodman. Simply put: He's kind of an ass. For our washer and dryer he showed up 30 minutes later than our 2 hour "window" and gave my husband real attitude when he found out the laundry room was on the second floor. I realize they are heavy, but isn't that something that you ask when you say you are going to "deliver and install" the system? He ended up charging us more for "steps" and install services, which I would've been fine with if it wasn't for the attitude! Then when I got word that he had my refrigerator to deliver (a day before the day Randy and I agreed upon at purchase), I missed his call and called him back asking him to push it back a day (I had already scheduled to take a day off to be there on the originally agreed upon day). He never answered. I left 2 messages and called 5 times and he never once picked up his phone to give me a simple "yes" or "no, that's not going to work". You know, for a job that is purely customer service, he was terrible at it! So now, I have to go to my house during the time block that he said in his message and sit there for a few hours wondering if he'll show up or not. In summary: Best Home Appliances are awesome...but if you do go there, make sure to see if they can use a different delivery guy than the Goodman Bros guy, because he's TERRIBLE! read more

Randy has been very helpful to my wife and I during the process of selecting appliances. He told us about some important cabinet design items that Miele requires. We will be purchasing a Miele 24 x 24 steam convection oven / broiler, a Sharp drawer microwave, and a Zephyr hood insert. We are happy with the pricing which Best will honor when we are ready to order in mid- June. Personnel in other stores that sell similar appliances are not as knowledgable as the personnel at Best. Randy offered his honest opinions that assisted in the decision process and saved us money. We like to stroll through a store and take our time without being pressured. A large store near the Miele demonstration facility didn't bother to send a quote. Attend the Miele dinner demonstration if interested in their products (appt. required). We will attend again after we have some experience with the multi purpose oven. read more

My husband and I went into Best Home Appliances to shop for a high-end drop-in range and vent hood. We walked around the store for about ten or more minutes, up and down every aisle, clearly within sight of the three employees who were sitting in a back desk area completely ignoring us. I'm sure they must work on commission, yet no one ever stood up to greet us, to ask us what we're shopping for, or to help in any manner. It was pathetic, even more so since this was the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, a big shopping and selling day. We will take our business elsewhere. read more

You will never get your appliances in any sort of timely manner! No matter how hard you try how many days you take off of work , they will change it and they will say they went even though no one in the house could hear them. Even once they send it, it will take at least a month to get your delivery. Good luck to anyone that buys an appliance here this will be the very last time I ever make the same mistake! read more

We found this place by chance, thank goodness. It is the best appliance store I've ever been in! Randy Rice has assisted us with several purchases. That guy knows EVERYTHING about the appliances they sell and never makes you feel like he's hard-selling. We've ended up with exactly what we hoped for each time we go in. The delivery and installation is always on time and trouble-free. No, they don't have the super cheap brands like big box stores, but they do have a moderate range of appliances (like GE) as well as luxury models (like Miele). 27 February 2013 I should have reviewed this business and team the first time we made a purchase. I was provided with excellent information and assistance. We designed an entire kitchen and Terry was our representative and his knowledge was immeasurable. He made this chore (and since when is shopping a chore) easy! One of the impressive desirable business traits is the teamwork among the staff. If your representative is out for the day, another member assists you in the same effective competent manner (so thank you Joel and Randy as well). From the moment one walks through the door to the delivery and installation, this business deserves the highest of marks. We have just had a washer/dryer delivered with a small glitch and the manner in which it has been handled is of the highest standards. I cannot say enough regarding the service of this company and have without reservation have referred many others to Best Home. Kudos to Terry and Best Home Appliances! We have, over the past year, purchased well over $10,000 in appliances from Best Home Appliances. This week, we bought a gas cooktop to replace the one we had that had started to make an annoying noise and could not be repaired. It is the very last thing we will purchase from Best Home Appliances. When we purchased the cooktop, we asked what would happen if the one we purchased didn't fit in the spot the current one was occupying in our counter top. We were assured that they would just trim the counter top to make sure it fit. This was all included in the installation fee. When the installer arrived, after he'd removed our old, broken cooktop, sure enough, the new one didn't fit correctly. The installer refused to proceed with the installation until we'd paid him an ADDITIONAL $250 fee, payable immediately. We called the store, who informed us that our only option was just to not have our cooktop installed. This, after being told that the old cooktop was already removed. No assistance, no nothing. The store just told us we could either pay the fee - more than double what the installation fee we had ALREADY paid - or deal with not having a stove. The installer wouldn't even put the old one back in. Again, none of this "extra fee" business was mentioned - even when we specifically asked about it before we bought the thing - until AFTER they had our old cooktop out and rendered unuseable and we had no choice but to pay the huge additional fee. This is apparently, from what we gathered when we called the store and received absolutely no assistance, their company policy. I will be finding another company, that does not rely on extortion. read more

Think twice or maybe three times before you buy here. When you shop for appliances on the high end you look for and expect service over price since high-end appliance prices are fixed by the manufacturers and are the same everywhere. We were at first impressed by the floor salesman Randy's knowledge and the time spent with us comparing brands and features. Unfortunately that was the high point of our experience with this company. We were misinformed about certain features that the oven actually doesn't do and we were lead to believe that installation would run about $250 before we made the purchase. When the installers arrived they informed us that complete installation runs over $600 because this oven requires a water line. We immediately called the store and spoke with the owner who rudely told us that if we didn't want the oven to send it back and then hung up on us! This was two days before Thanksgiving with no oven and a dozen family members expected for turkey dinner. After a great amount of unnecessary stress and haggling we compromised on an installation price, but felt forced due to the short time window. There are many other options out there when you are spending that kind of money! read more

I remodeled a kitchen several years ago and stumble onto this store. I bought two ovens, a cook top and a drawer microwave. Loved the service and advice. After searching for the best price this store beats any other store anytime. I'm now doing a vacation home and I went back and bought everything I need at one place and they were gracious enough to hold onto my items until I needed them. I got the best price and they spent the time to answer all my questions and look up all the rebates so I got the best deal on the items I wanted. I won't shop anywhere else. read more

We bought a new house and had planned to buy all the new appliances for our kitchen remodel here because we were pleased with the experience of buying our refrigerator. The salesman Randy seemed to be helpful and honest but when we went back to buy a dryer, we trusted his recommendation for a washer/dryer set. I shared my dislike and bad experience with a front load washer and he gave me some tips and said that this washer was a really good washer, and a good deal in price. We took his recommendation and bought the set. Now after only ONE year later I not only need a new washer because it is making all my clothes stink, which was my original statement of why I didn't want another front load, I also have to buy a whole new wardrobe for 4 people because of the stink! The selection and service of this store is amazing. I made two trips into the store. First to look at the appliances, second to verify and order. The staff is very knowledgeable and I felt absolutely no pressure to buy. Before my purchase the installers came out to verify the opening sizes to see if modifications had to be made. Once I had selected all of my new appliances our installation was scheduled. The installers did have to modify our existing openings but they did an excellent job. Our granite had to be cut on the sides as well as the oven opening. One installer cut, the other ran two vacuums to minimize the dust. Excellent job! If I could give them zero stars I would. A ice maker was purchased from them in August for $2200. It was installed August 28th and after it was installed a strange bell like sound was coming from the unit every time the ice dropped. I contacted Best Home Appliances the next day and they had the person who installed the unit come back out to check the unit. Of course he found nothing wrong after reaching out several times I was told by our sales guy Randy that this was a "normal" sound that the machine is making. He did provide numbers for warranty repair men in the area as well as product info. Unimpressed with what he told me I recorded the sound coming from the machine and sent it directly to him and of course no response. I did reach out to the repair men who were able to resolve our issue and fix the machine we purchased from Best Home Appliance. My biggest issue is that there is no reason that a machine should have had to be repaired the same day it was installed. The machine had an issue and should have been replaced with a new unit. Im disgusted with how we have been treated. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Unless you would like to give them a few thousand dollars for appliances that need repairs upon installation. read more

We were shocked when our Whirlpool front load Duet washer went out after about 10 years. I honestly thought washers were made to last at least 20 years so we started the process of researching what to buy. I knew we were NOT going to replace a front load with a front load (who wants to deal with mold, smell, etc.) We immediately went on YELP and when I plugged in "Best Apliance Store in Phoenix" up popped Best Home Appliances. And the reviews told the story: BUY FROM THEM. I called at 5:55pm on a Friday night and Randy answered the phone. He spent at least 15 minutes telling us all we wanted to know about brands and when we told him we were interested in Speed Queen he gave us the price on the phone. No gimmicks. NO sales push. No pressure. We said we would come in the next day and we did. Ordered both the SQ washer (now built with a 25 year life span - not guaranteed but at least they think the product will last and it carries a 5 year guarantee!) and matching SQ dryer. Delivery set up right on the spot for Wednesday (due to Labor Day holiday). It was seamless except for the fact I swore we needed a gas dryer and instead it should have been electric. They were SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO nice about my mistake and were going to absorb the $50 restocking fee for the gas dryer. I told them absolutely not it was not their fault and there is no way they should do that. All I can say is: honesty, integrity, fairness, exceptional install to perfection by Clint and his partner, terrific sales and ops knowledge by Randy.
