I ordered from Best Lumpia through uber eats and ordered 2-item combo + veggie lumpia and a drink. I'll start with the veggie lumpia because that's my most favorite lumpia and been holding a specific standard for it. The veggie lumpia still came with a bit of crisp texture despite waiting for uber eats for almost 30 minutes, the filling is good 7.5/10 (filling is mushy, I wish there's more crunch from the veggie filling and sauce could have been vinegar instead of sweet red sauce because it makes you want to eat more of it). The Pork BBQ is AMAZING!! I have nothing but compliments for it--highly recommend! The pancit is a bit bland, a little bit more umami could definitely improve the flavor. Tried this place after a coworker recommended it and I am really glad we did. I placed a large order a few hours ahead and picked it up around 3:45 PM. Note this is take out only with no dine in. The service was good, just a bit slow. I did wait about 15 to 20 minutes past the pickup time, but they had a sign saying they were short staffed, so it was understandable. We ordered 50+ beef lumpia, 32 veggie, and the rest pork. They were a huge hit at our party, super flavorful and perfect finger food. Best Lumpia has been a favorite for years, and while they're now a take-out only spot the food still hits and is well worth a stop. I tend to stop in when I'm visiting Stockton and end up ordering more than enough to take home and share with my Sacramento friends. They offer their food in regular orders but also in catering/party sizes. My favorite items on the menu are the lumpia Shanghai, the house pancit and the bbq pork. They have a lot of great dishes though. I ended up ordering a lot of lumpia on my last visit and shared it with some neighbors. Even after the 40 minute drive home it was crispy and delicious. The team here was working hard, I had ordered in person because I noticed the different online ordering options had different things listed so I decided to order in person and wait. The pork & chicken lumpia texture is not what I was used to at all, almost grainy kinda similar to that of an eggroll. Ecstatic about the pancit, and boy was it also a let down. Got the glass noodle as well as rice noodle variation, both noodles were cooked fine but the chicken itself was lacking any sort of flavor. No longer a dime in experience. It has been over 10 years since I have visited here. But the food is still goood! Service was pleasant as well. I had my mind already set on ordering the Lechon, as I was curious to see if still tasted the the same as it did back then. And let me tell ya..... it SURE did! Their puncit was also delicious, not over bearing with so many other ingredients, the perfect amount. We also tried their bbq beef and sriracha skewers. All of our food choices to make our meal were delicious. Off to the side of the register, they have a table set up that has a few smaller items for sale. For example: Filipino cal that is made up of sticky rice, brown sugar and coconut. Next to that they had dried pork skin that n air tight bags selling at $7.99. I also noticed that they had bottles of bbq sauce that was for sell and I'm guessing it's their own sauce that they make. For everything that we did order that is pictured for two people we paid a little over $40 dollars, not including any drinks. I haven't been going here for a while because it started to get more and more expensive. I was surprised to see no more dine in. The service was good. As for the food I enjoyed everything except the main dish that I really wanted and that was the bbq teriyaki chicken. It was awful! It did not taste like bbq at all! Flavor decent it had a shrimp so yeah. Lemon pepper riblets ***special of day** Good amount of food for one person but over cooked not a hint of lemon or pepper at just deep fried. All in all lumpia was good enough but wouldn't say BEST LUMPIA and also need to add vinegar and sweet and sour with lumpia not just sweet and sour sauce. Not sure if owners or cooks have changed but born and raised in Stockton I can say the food quality and flavor has changed. The pancit comes with combo plate and it had no flavor. The bbq flavor is good but the meat was too tuff to chew. They always run out of the Shanghai lumpia which are my favorite, so I ordered the chicken and the flavor was really off. We didn't eat them. Most of the customers who came inside were picking up orders but they do have a few seats inside if you decided place an order and wait. We walked-in to order 4 items and the wait was around 20 - 25 mins. We ordered pancit bihon, palabok, chicken adobo and pinakbet. We didn't order any lumpia despite the name being "Best Lumpia". 5 pieces costs $4.50 and 10 pieces cost $8.50. Pricy for just a few pieces.
