This review is long overdue...oops! I stopped in here December 2019 randomly, because I happened to be in LA and needed a quickie manicure before jetting off to a friend's wedding. I was SO pleased by my manicure. They took their time to do my gel manicure perfectly and the shop was super nice and clean. The peachy color was so cute and looked great in every light. Be careful of this place. They love to give a different price over the phone. They give a good price when you call but once you are there and ready to pay after the service they will just tell you that they made a mistake over the phone and forgot their pricing. Idk how to feel about this place. I know they just opened and stuff but I got a pedi and I was charged to remove the gel even though I was getting gel again. I never paid extra for that? My full set looks decent but for what I paid it could have been better . I paid over 100. I don't think I will return but if you're desperate and need your nails done I guess give it a try . Stopped by because I noticed the $35 mani pedi with salt scrub and massage sign hanging in the window. I really don't get my nails done that often but I had a fading gel pedicure that needed to be removed so decided to check this place out. I didn't have an appointment, it was fairly busy when I got there but they were able to accommodate me. It's a pretty big nail salon. I had fairly low expectations given that I just walked by and the price was good. Danny did my nails. The salt scrub and foot/hand massages actually felt pretty good. The massage chair was cool as well. Nail polish was applied evenly and my cuticles were trimmed without any pain. He buffed away some of the skin on my heel but I do feel like there is still some dead skin left. It's definitely not a luxe kind of place but they are nice enough and I don't need a whole lot to feel pampered. Minus a couple of stars because I noticed that my fingernails were not filed smoothly, they are a bit uneven after the trim. On the plus side, I think I found a new favorite pink neutral shade - OPI mimosas for Mr. and Mrs! I was charged $40 instead of $35 but I'm assuming maybe it was because of the extra time/effort spent removing my gel toenail polish. Overall, met my expectations given the price. I'm fairly satisfied with my nails but I wish my fingernails were filed more smoothly. read more

No thanks! The girl I got was super lazy. She didn't trim the cuticles on my hands AT.ALL. and it has been MONTHS since I last got my nails done...There were also pieces of nail dust all over my nails and she still proceeded to paint over them. I kept pointing them out and told her that it'd probably be easier if she just redid my nails instead of picking it out. Guess she didn't understand what I said because she tried to paint over another speck. I stopped her and pointed out all the bumps on my nails and that's when she just redid all my nails. I felt bad but there were too many bumps for me to not be bothered by them in the long term. The stone massage was a joke. They take a hot stone and just rub it on the sole of your foot. There's no pressure at all. The paint they use is also cheap, I've never had a top coat peel on me before. In a sheet! It's the oddest thing...it leaves a glossy part to your nail and a semi-matte part... SKIP!!! read more

She helped with two ingrown nails that other nail techs have failed to address and Jessie took care of it. My feet are much better now and she did great. I rarely write bad reviews. I love giving compliments where they are due, and helping businesses get more business if they do a good job. With that said, I am giving two stars for this place, as an average between my experience and my friend's good experience. My friend who brought us here is a long time repeat customer so perhaps that is why she had a better experience (which should never be the case). My nails were nice, but I got gel and they chipped immediately after I left the store. She did give me three layers but perhaps they were still too thin, as this never happens to me. I went back to get it fixed and the lady told me she could tell I bumped it. She basically blamed me for GEL nails getting chipped. Lady, they are supposed to hold up if they are bumped, and secondly I didn't do anything crazy after I left the store to cause it to chip. Blaming your customer and giving her attitude...never the best way to go. The whole point of gel nails is so they last through regular wear and tear (especially the same day!) She HAD repainted one of my toenails the day before that I had smudged as it was drying, and I take full responsibility and appreciate her fixing it at that time. After getting my nail repainted, a few hours later my thumb chipped. I didn't go back this time to get it fixed. Once again, not blaming her as it is probably the nail polish itself, but perhaps this brand just needs extra coats (orly). Secondly, we had paid for our friend to get her nails done, including tip, as a surprise treat. I am not sure if she told my friend that tip had already been paid, but she had no problem accepting more tip from my friend. Thirdly, I hate when people paint the cuticles and then use a brush to clean it up. My pedicurist did this. It never looks as nice as being careful the first time and not painting the cuticles. If you hate this technique, make sure to let them know you want them to be careful the first time around. The whole experience just left a bad taste in our mouths. I got my nails done in preparation for a banquet and graduation and needed a place in Pasadena nearby. I found this place on yelp and noticed a lot of people praised Tanya, so I put in a request for her when I made my appointment, and she assured me I would have Tanya work on my nails. When I came in early (1:45ish) for my 2pm appointment, the place was completely empty except Tanya and two other technicians, so they took me right away. It worried me though that it was so empty. However the two other technicians began working on my manicure and pedicure right away once I chose my colors. The technician that did my gel manicure, Lynn, was very friendly, but after a few minutes she and the other technician just spoke Vietnamese with each other. I had thought that Tanya would be doing my nails, but she ended up helping another customer that walked in for a manicure. Overall, they both did a great job on my nails and I would go again if in the area. I do wish they had a tv or something on because I had nothing to do while the technicians talked to each other. I have no issue with them speaking with each other in Vietnamese but I just wish I had something to keep me occupied. read more

If I could rate this place no stars I would. I made an appointment for 12pm today for two people. When I get there there's 3+ seats open and we get seated. Some time goes by and the water for the pedicure is cold so I asked them to put warm water again, and they did. It's 12:30 and there was no sign of us getting helped. Absolutely ridiculous... And they try saying you should've made an appointment but that was the first thing I told them when I arrived. My first time getting a gel manicure. I booked a same day appointment on the phone. It was pretty easy. I came in on a weekday at 5:30 PM. I was the only customer in at the time and I was surprised there weren't more at that time. Anyways, the manicurist took her time cutting and pushing my cuticles back. It wasn't painful at all. I chose a very neutral pink and I was very happy with the results. At the end one of my cuticles was bleeding. But it didn't bother me since all the hand washing I do at work leaves my hands and cuticles dry. My manicure took about 40 min. I was pleased with this place and would come back again. read more

The nail salon I typically go to was full and the one near the house I would not make it there in time so I decided to give this place a shot and was thankful they could fit me in. Pros: They are SO nice! All of the women in there are just total gems. The place was also relatively clean and they give a nice foot massage. Cons: Terribly small selection of polishes... very few OPI and Essie and most of the polish was pretty old. They also applied such a thick layer that it took forever to dry and as my nails were trying to dry, the polish on my thumbs all dripped down to one side of my nail creating a noticeable lump of nail polish on one side of my nail. Tips: You can park in the lot in the paid lot on Hudson or on the street. There is no free parking lot nearby (unless you were to park at Target and risk getting towed..). read more
