Fantastic pizza by the slice choices!!!! When we came, there was buffalo, best white, meat lovers, pepperoni, cheese, the works, pesto goat cheese, BBQ, and the special which looks like a deep dish pizza. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and spacious. They have inside and outside eating areas. The parking area is tiny but I managed to get a place. Cost for a pizza by the slice is $4.50 each for larger pieces. The nice thing is that starting at 2pm - 4pm and one hour before closing, pizza is only $2.50! (These are 2024 prices). What a deal! I had the works and it was fantastic. It comes out hot and fresh. Hours are Sunday-Thursday 11 am - 9pm Friday-Saturday 11am - 10pm If you're on Oceanside, this is a must stop eatery! It's a gem in the ocean of options. I'll be eating here again! read more

I wish I could give this place more stars, but part of our order got lost and while some staff was understanding and said they will look into fixing it, some staff definitely gave unnecessary attitude about it. We tried to get a refund for those items, but got refunded for something we actually received? We waited close to an hour but at one point felt like it's better to leave. Honestly, from my family of 5, plus all of the friends and out of town relatives we've taken to grab meal here over the last few years, well, if it is not THE BEST, it is certainly one of them! I only say that because I know that pizza lovers can have their unique preferences, (thin, crunchy, soft, doughy, extra saucy and/or cheesy, or not, you understand). This guy, however, prefers my pie exactly the way the folks at BEST make it. Thin, crunchy crust but with a few softer moments to chew on, and most important, fresh, high quality ingredients that cover the top. As often as we've visited, we have sampled a good portion of the various pies. My beautiful bride prefers the "BEST White", but she is one of those. Basil, ricotta cheese with maybe olive oil and garlic? I could never actually order this, however I don't mind when she does because it is quite tasty. Please don't tell her I said that. My teenage daughter prefers garlic knots and the Caesar salad. Great choices girl but c'mon, no pizza? My boys..all meat lovers, all day. Me? Im a Pepperoni guy and maybe add a few jalapeños on top. I enjoy the traditional style/flavor but ain't nothin traditional about how good it tastes at BEST, especially when you drop by at lunch and grab the slice deal that also gets you a discounted hat for your dome. Some solid options! to rock around our gorgeous city of Oceanside. I will post some pics next time we swing thru. As so many have also said...killer vibe usually some surf flicks running on the screens. Staff is top tier. Had the best cheese pizza and club sandwich today! You can mess up a cheese pizza, it's difficult but it has been done. This pizza was amazing! You can tell the preparer cares because the cheese was perfectly evenly spread. My sandwich had fresh veggies and thick cut bacon, I got it with sourdough and it was just a toasty crunchy yumminess! The place is clean and fun and has beautiful garage style windows so you can enjoy the breeze. The staff was so kind and helpful! Im guessing that they were the owners because the care and kindness that they put into the place showed. We are here on vacation but wish there was one of these where we lived with the same crew! The manager named Jesse greeted us at counter and asked how our day was going first off which was nice. Most restaurants just tell you where to sit and that's about it. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza, meatball sub and two IPA beers. The pizza didn't look like much but the overall taste was exceptional. The crust was perfection! The overall atmosphere in the dining room had a great vibe, all he customers seem to very happy. The entire staff was helpful. The restroom was also very clean with piped in classic music. The menu is pretty darn good (calzones or spumoni would have gotten me to say, "GREAT!" They also have an impressive beer list, that includes a very tasty non-alcoholic beer: Ration Ale Hazy IPA. Last summer, I stayed in Oceanside for a month. I was drawn to local places that had that just right North County vibe. I got plenty of that vibe here, as I watched Padres games with O-siders. I also got plenty of their very tasty pizza. During my trip I went in at least four times, munching on their pizza and a nice selection of side salads. With the windows open and a warm summer breeze flowing through, I couldn't have felt more content. There are several pizza places within a block or two of this place. We went for slices of pizza and found out that they only do certain pizzas by slice, no biggie but just know before you go they don't do specialty slices! We ordered a specialty pizza and we were accidentally rung up for the larger pizza when we asked for the small, not a big deal we ate it but we were just surprised by the price when we sat down. The staff were extremely friendly and the place was clean, as well as the bathrooms. Pizza was delicious and the drinks were good. We would come back again for the different slices of pizza instead of the $30 speciality pizza, just gets too pricey. But other than that it was a good time.
