House salad topped with grilled shrimp.

Nestled in the heart of Eagle Landing, their Bar & Grill is a breath of fresh of air amongst chain restaurants. The alcoholic drinks are perfectly stirred and shaken...and the desserts sweetly decadent. Their prices aren't too shabby either. For about $10, I got a house salad topped with seasoned jumbo grilled shrimp. The staff is very friendly, and they offer outside seating. Make sure you land on this hidden nest!

Great view, good food, awesome service!

EL is the quintessential neighborhood restaurant! Recently renovated and under new management, it's a great place to grab a bite with friends and family. The deck offers a terrific view of the golf course and is a perfect place to enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset. The waitstaff is attentive, friendly, and accommodating, (especially if you ask for Cora)! Weekly family entertainment and monthly events add to the appeal. There's a nice variety of delicious appetizers and entrees. Weekly chef specials are a great choice!

The dough was raw, greasy, and had zero structure. When I picked it up, it folded like a limp banana peel -- no crunch, no backbone, just oil-soaked dough. I asked them to put it back in the oven because it was clearly undercooked. They did... and it came back exactly the same. As a New Yorker, I know what real pizza is supposed to taste and feel like. I love to get a slice from time to time, however This was not New York pizza. This was not pizza. Please don't tell customers that it is -- it's honestly an insult. It felt like I could have rolled the dough back into a ball and re-spread it because it was that raw. The pizza needs to actually touch the base of the oven long enough to bake properly. The previous owners did a great job here. Whatever changed -- it's not working. The new owners really need to taste their own product. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to ASPENEDOS Italian Cuisine next to Publix instead. OMG -- the chicken piccata is incredible, and their pizza is full of flavor with a perfectly crunchy crust. I ate every bit of the crust -- even the back end, which I never do. That's real pizza. I asked for a refund and took my self to ASPENEDOS.

As a creature of habit, I get what I know and like, and VERY RARELY am I left wondering why I spent my money here. So, I guess that is something to say considering the last time I went to Zaxbys (at any location) has been well over two years. On a time crunch, this location was en route as I left Jacksonville to head back home to Orlando, and the service was quick despite there being a line of cars. I didn't go inside the restaurant, so I cannot speak to the overall look, feel, and/or ambiance of the space, but I am sure it is standard. Most fast food restaurants have a standard look and feel, especially if they are chain restaurants, and are usually devoid of any personality beyond that. As for the food, it was good. I got the kids (chicken tender) meal (do not judge me). Haha! It hit the spot and did what I needed it to do, which was to hold me over on my drive back home. As always, I paired it with the special sauce and some water (because I promise I am an adult - haha). And that's that. I cannot recommend whether this location is the best spot or not, as I do not live in Jacksonville to be able to say yay or nay. But my experience the day I visited was good.

The place is usually packed, but since it was Sunday before noon I managed to beat the post-church crowd. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had a steady stream of drive thru orders coming in, so it was louder in the kitchen than the dining room. The lady at the counter was patient and leaned in to catch my order clearly, which I appreciated. I went with the Wings & Things meal. The lemon pepper wings didn't have that crisp snap I normally expect, though the flavor was solid. The tenders tossed in Tongue Torch sauce hit the right note, but the wings just weren't at their best today. I didn't mention it to the counter since the rush was picking up. On the bright side, the fried pickles were spot on. The wife was happy, so that part was a win.

This was my first time there, and the way the menu works is not explained clearly at all. If you've never been before, it's confusing and misleading. I ended up paying $35 for the meal because it included a cocktail, which made the whole experience even more frustrating considering how bad everything was. I ordered the hibachi chicken, and when it finally came out it was completely dry, overcooked, and barely edible. The buffet line was just as bad -- most of the food sitting out was cold, like it had clearly been sitting there for a long time. Nothing about the meal felt fresh. Once I realized how the ordering system actually worked and that the food was going to take much longer than expected, I politely explained that I needed to leave soon and asked if I could take the food to go. I was told I couldn't take it to go, which makes absolutely no sense considering I had already paid for it. So the food just sat there getting colder while they refused a simple request. What made it worse was the manager's response. There was zero effort to accommodate the situation. After explaining the experience, the manager wouldn't remove anything from the bill or offer any kind of solution. Paying $35 for dry hibachi, cold buffet food, and terrible customer service is unacceptable. In the end, I walked out and left the cold food sitting on the table anyway. Between the confusing menu, bad food, and completely unaccommodating management, the entire experience was a waste of time and money. I definitely won't be back.

Our waitress was phenomenal and we were taken care of beautifully! She made sure our drinks were refilled and our food was to our liking. Chips and salsa: 9/10 - can't go wrong with their crispy, thin, salted chips and salsa! Always a favorite when we go to chilis! Mushroom and Swiss burger: 8/10 - I didn't try this burger but my brother did and he enjoyed it. I had some fries and their ranch was pretty good. Shrimp Cajun pasta: 8/10 - pretty good seasoning on the pasta was cooked perfectly and al dente. It was a hefty portion and it came with so much shrimp and also garlic Texas toast. The pasta was also super creamy, cheesy, and rich. The shrimp was decent as well! The experience was delightful but when we got home and hours later, we had food poisoning. It was awful and we think it's from the ranch. That's the only reason why I'm knocking off a few stars.
