I asked them to put it back in the oven because it was clearly undercooked. They did... and it came back exactly the same. As a New Yorker, I know what real pizza is supposed to taste and feel like. I love to get a slice from time to time, however This was not New York pizza. This was not pizza. Please don't tell customers that it is -- it's honestly an insult. It felt like I could have rolled the dough back into a ball and re-spread it because it was that raw. The pizza needs to actually touch the base of the oven long enough to bake properly. The previous owners did a great job here. Whatever changed -- it's not working. The new owners really need to taste their own product. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to ASPENEDOS Italian Cuisine next to Publix instead. OMG -- the chicken piccata is incredible, and their pizza is full of flavor with a perfectly crunchy crust. I ate every bit of the crust -- even the back end, which I never do. That's real pizza. On a time crunch, this location was en route as I left Jacksonville to head back home to Orlando, and the service was quick despite there being a line of cars. I didn't go inside the restaurant, so I cannot speak to the overall look, feel, and/or ambiance of the space, but I am sure it is standard. Most fast food restaurants have a standard look and feel, especially if they are chain restaurants, and are usually devoid of any personality beyond that. As for the food, it was good. I got the kids (chicken tender) meal (do not judge me). Haha! It hit the spot and did what I needed it to do, which was to hold me over on my drive back home. As always, I paired it with the special sauce and some water (because I promise I am an adult - haha). And that's that. The place is usually packed, but since it was Sunday before noon I managed to beat the post-church crowd. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had a steady stream of drive thru orders coming in, so it was louder in the kitchen than the dining room. The lady at the counter was patient and leaned in to catch my order clearly, which I appreciated. I went with the Wings & Things meal. The lemon pepper wings didn't have that crisp snap I normally expect, though the flavor was solid. The tenders tossed in Tongue Torch sauce hit the right note, but the wings just weren't at their best today. I didn't mention it to the counter since the rush was picking up. On the bright side, the fried pickles were spot on. The wife was happy, so that part was a win.

The buffet line was just as bad -- most of the food sitting out was cold, like it had clearly been sitting there for a long time. Nothing about the meal felt fresh. Once I realized how the ordering system actually worked and that the food was going to take much longer than expected, I politely explained that I needed to leave soon and asked if I could take the food to go. I was told I couldn't take it to go, which makes absolutely no sense considering I had already paid for it. So the food just sat there getting colder while they refused a simple request. What made it worse was the manager's response. There was zero effort to accommodate the situation. After explaining the experience, the manager wouldn't remove anything from the bill or offer any kind of solution. Paying $35 for dry hibachi, cold buffet food, and terrible customer service is unacceptable. In the end, I walked out and left the cold food sitting on the table anyway. I had a free pizza via my Dominos app but with the wings, delivery fee, taxes and tip I still paid around $30. I mean a $5.93 delivery fee that does not go to the driver (per the website) seems a little steep but I know most places are doing it now. The app makes it easy to track your meal so you can plan dinner and it was pretty accurate. It looks like it updates in real time based on traffic. When my food arrived, the driver was pleasant and polite. The food was still warm and ready to be consumed. Upon opening the pizza box, I noticed that the toppings were hap hazard in that some slices had sausage and pepperoni, some had only pepperoni and some had only cheese. The same was true for the wings as some had a lot of sauce and some had very little. All of the food tasted good and my son really liked the baked wings which were tender and came off the bone easily. There were no leftovers. No major complaints but will definitely pick it up next time to avoid excessive fees.

Shrimp Cajun pasta: 8/10 - pretty good seasoning on the pasta was cooked perfectly and al dente. It was a hefty portion and it came with so much shrimp and also garlic Texas toast. The pasta was also super creamy, cheesy, and rich. The shrimp was decent as well! The experience was delightful but when we got home and hours later, we had food poisoning. It was awful and we think it's from the ranch. That's the only reason why I'm knocking off a few stars. The burger was so delicious, cooked perfectly and hot. The fries were done to perfection also; I brought them home to enjoy later, even cold they'll be good. As I said, it was lunch rush time but the restaurant wasn't loud. The only thing I'd say is it was cold so being a light weight sweater. I'll definitely be back when I need a big burger that tastes like I cooked it myself.
