Given his years of doing this he was also a good one to enhance what we we wanted to do, or alternatively tell us "that is not a good idea". We were on a timeline to get the job done and he was able to deliver. One thing that is really helpful with Newland Landscape is that he has multiple crews working. This allows him to shift resources around as needed. I think we had people at the house working every day, and some Saturdays. In our experience this is a rariety with many contractors. We had to do our work as well, staying ahead of him picking out materials, plants, etc. but with that he was able to stay on track with our need. I rearranged my schedule twice to accommodate them during what was already an exceptionally difficult time, as I was preparing to say goodbye to my 16-year-old dog that weekend. Chris did arrive on Friday as promised, but a week has now passed and I have received neither a bid nor any follow-up communication from anyone at the company. Shortly after the appointment, their Thumbtack profile was also removed or hidden. While I can't say why, the timing was odd, as it prevented me from leaving a review on the platform where we originally connected.
