This biggest special order bagel I've ever seen!
    Michael R.

Picked up a bagel for myself and a coworker and was welcomed with smiles! While waiting on my steak and cheese bagel and nova with lox spread, I watched them remove the biggest bagel I've ever seen. This obviously was a special catering order because even the cashier could not tell me how much an order like that would cost. The place was busy with a purposeful hum and quiet ambiance. There were five people in front of me and was able to get my order in and walk out in less than 10 minutes!

    Bagels friends and outdoor seating

Food came out quick and the workers are super kind and make an effort to remember their regulars. A great customer - business culture. There's not much seating inside but there's a lot of seating outdoors in Rosslyn. I ordered a sausage, cucumber, and tomato on an Asiago bagel. Very good, the bagel was a little more flat/hard fo rmy liking but still amazing! My friends are vegan and vegetarian and did not have any concerns/struggles on what to order. Coming back again soon!

What i ordered.. vs what I actually got

Ordered via Uber Eats early morning, got ZERO of the bagels I selected. I would not have ordered had I known I would be getting an entirely different order. Also the one bagel I tried tasted stale

This place was popping on a Sunday morning! My wife and I had very different experiences. I had a salt bagel with lox cream cheese and chive cream cheese and thought it was excellent The bagel was fresh and had the perfect texture. On the flip side, my wife got an egg sandwich on a bagel and did not like it. In fact, she compared it to a Lenders bagel, which is about a big an insult you can give to a bagel. Maybe she just needs to give it another try :-)

    Lox on toasted plain bagel

Some of my favorite bagels in the DC area! I got lox on a toasted plain bagel with onions and capers. Even though it was around $10, they were extremely generous with the lox. It was an incredibly tasty bite, maybe my only complaint was that there was really just a lot of cream cheese. Definitely wasn't an issue, and overall the bagel was extremely good. I also had a coffee and two other orders, which all came out quickly despite how bustling it was. We were there the morning of the Marine Corps Marathon and it felt like everyone was packed in there. They moved through orders quickly, but everyone was also super gracious, there wasn't a ton of seating inside, but it wasn't hard to find a bench or table outdoors to eat our meals. Note that there's no public restroom in here, but plenty of other options nearby. Can't wait for our next trip back to DC!

bacon egg and cheese on blueberry bagel

Ordered delivery on a Friday morning. Got a bacon egg and cheese on a blueberry bagel, a sausage egg and cheese on a wheat everything bagel, and two banana nut bagels with plain cream cheese (for the price of one). Definitely solid bagels. The blueberry bagel probably could have used more blueberries in it, and the banana nut one was actually like a muffin but without the sweetness. The wheat everything bagel was my favorite. I do wish they would wrap their breakfast sandwiches in foil to keep them warm though, as ours were wrapped in paper and kind of cold by the time they arrived. Other than that, no qualms! Definitely a no brainer when craving bagels.

whitefish salad on an everything bagel
    Michelle V.

Stopped by on a weekday around noon. There was a short line and short wait. There's limited bar seating by the window of the shop. I ordered a whitefish salad sandwich on an everything bagel. The wait was around 5 minutes. This was one of the messiest meals I've ever had. They give you a MASSIVE amount of whitefish salad. Luckily, there is a station for sauces, sweeteners, utensils at the back of the shop. I ended up eating some of my food with a fork and knife. It felt near impossible to pick up and casually bite into the sandwich. By the end, the sandwich was practically falling apart. Overall it was a tasty and filling way to fuel my day of exploring museums. I would recommend ordering ahead online since I saw a lot of people doing that and I was a bit intimidated by all the options ordering on the spot. All in all this was my first meal in DC and it was great. I'd come back!

I dropped over here as I was leaving the metro station across the street. They had a really cool looking Rainbow Bagel for $3.50 and the cream cheese was additional. It seemed like a good choice given the World Pride Weekend this weekend. They were about getting ready to close, and I was a little bit rushed myself so I took it to go. The bagel itself tasted pretty much the same as a plain bagel which was good. I think I would have liked the bagel better with strawberry smear but it didn't appear that they had that. This is a decent bagel shop and I would recommend it to my friends.

Exactly what you'd expect from a bagel shop. They have an assortment of bagels and different sandwiches on the menu - the line moves fast so be prepared to order! You don't want to hold anyone up on their morning rush lol. I tried their seasonal rainbow bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese - made for a sizeable breakfast sandwich!

0/0 lol. I ordered an egg and cheese bagel through uber eats. It wasn't hot, the eggs weren't scrambled, the cheese wasn't melted, and it had the wrong bagel! :(

Cinnamon raisin bagel with honey butter shmear
    Lauren C.

Solid bagel spot that's close to my office so I usually go here every now and then. I love their honey butter shemar!! Main reason I come here. The bagels are okay. I prefer my bagels more airy and fluffy and soft and these bagels were thinner and a bit crispier (could have been because they over toast them). Bagel sandwiches are the best bang for your buck in my opinion. Bagel with shmear is $4 alone and sandwiches are about $8-9.

Impossible sausage breakfast bagel. Sooo good!!

I was sitting down inside and the ambiance was very nice and quiet, and I have super sensitive hearing, I can hear things very clearly, I heard this one guy working there and it sounded to me like he was harassing one of the girl workers there, she seems very young, it was very concerning and honestly kinda weird and disturbing to hear this guy say this at work. Not very professional like, I would suggest talking to this guy or firing him. If I was working there and this guy said this to me, I would quit. Then another time I was there and he was being rude to a customer, this was on a Sunday and one again I was there just sitting and I was witnessing it. Other than that; everything else was amazing.

I got a McLovin (Sasuage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit), a New Orleans style coffee, a slice of PB Nutella Pie, and two cookies: one Oreo in a blanket and the other a PB Cup in a Blanket (which are basically chocolate chip cookies with an Oreo and PB Cup inside of them). I've had the pie and coffee before and loved. But the other items are new. I'll start with the McLovin: it's incredible! All the flavors work together nicely. The buttermilk biscuit is nice and fluffy and the sausage is well seasoned and egg was cooked to perfection with some melty cheese! The PB Cup in and blanket was yummy too! A stagger advised I heat it ijnthe microwave for 10 seconds and it was so gooey! The Oreo in a Blanket was also great! I really enjoy Bakeshop and I'm so glad I live really close to one! I've been to the Vienna and Arlington locations and the staff for both are really nice! Quick service too!

They are a no fail and no disappointment here and A-OK with me. Both sandwiches are loaded with meat and the right amount of fixin's to balance it all out! Plus there are many other toppings to choose from to complete your sandwich just the way you like it. This is mandatory for me!..... essentially by the time I'm finished adding toppings on my sandwich.... I pretty much created a side--for free!!
