I appreciated the smiley face on my chorizo breakfast burrito. Always great comfort food, and smiling friendly people working here. It's a bummer that a meal costs $15 here now. Came here for a quick bite to eat and ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito. There wasn't a lot of eggs, the "bacon" tasted more like ham and was cooked like ham, and the tortilla tasted old. The only thing I enjoyed was the green salsa and the potatoes. The burrito wasn't hot when we got it so we had to reheat it in the microwave. I'm good to never come here again. read more

I can't bear to give Beto's under a 4 star, but it's probably more like a 3-3.5. I visit the various Beto's locations probably 2-3 times a year in total. This one is the OG for me, one I went to in high school. Anytime I come here the first thing I do is complain/reminisce about the days when a breakfast burrito was around $3-4. Now it's $8+. It hurts every time, but then I just remember that I was eating these $3-4 breakfast burritos at least once a week on a high school wage, so I'll survive paying $8. For your $8 you get a large burrito. I have never ended a Beto's burrito wanting more. It's huge. The red sauce and green sauce are great to pour into your burrito (be sure to ask for 2 each). The meat isn't the highest quality, but overall the burrito is pretty good. They've always got my order right, my food has always been hot, and overall I really can't complain about much here. Beto's is one of those go to Mexican food places when you have a hankering for carne asada tacos, fries or burritos. This review is from one of the times we were able to go here for sit down service. Being that my wife has the gluten allergy she chose the carne asada plate, which is like having a thin sliced steak with Mexican style rice and re-fried beans. I ordered a carne asada taco and a carne asada fries to share with the wife. It's not like a sit down restaurant where they take your order, it's a fast food restaurant with some sit down tables. They have a salsa bar that you can get various salsa from. I usually get the red and green sauce for mine. You can get pico de gallo, a cilantro and onion mix, and a jalapeño and carrot mix. For drinks they have Pepsi products, however I like the Mexican style drinks they have available. Horchata is a cinnamon rice milk drink that I like to order sometimes. Also the Jamaica drink is my favorite and is a hibiscus flavored beverage that I recommend you try. read more

If I was just reviewing the breakfast burritos, I'd give this place a 4/5 (just always wish for more salsa in the drive thru). The super combo breakfast burrito is great! Their staff while not very friendly have always been great at order accuracy and also who goes through a drive thru for conversation The reason for the low score is just the value of the rest of the food, can easily order from an actual Mexican sit down place for better food for equal or sometimes even less than the price at Betos. Mostly just not a lot of meat, very easy to spend $30+ for just two people if not careful. i'd say 1 out of 5 times i try to go here the burritos are good. Sometimes the food actually is warmed up and actually tastes fresh. 90% of the time their burritos taste fishy and the tortillas are dry and taste old. I primarily go to the saratoga one cause they're the best location but every once in a while give the af location another shot, never again. It's so bad that it's been a running joke with my friends frowning up to never go here unless you're wanting some sushi burritos. read more

I accept this as my fault for not checking it at the drive-thru and not returning it. due to lack of time, I decided to keep the order, the portion was large but the food was far below average. I liked the food and the service. The care asada fries burrito is my go to! They also have steak and eggs and ham and eggs and a good selection of burritos. You get a great amount of food for the price. And the ambiance of the store makes Beto's a nice place to bring friends to eat at here. I would recommend Beto's to anyone! Ordered a mix breakfast burrito and asked less/easy on potatoes. I've had this at other locations and never has it been this bad. Literally got a cold potatoes burrito with a couple tiny pieces of bacon and cold non melted cheese. I was the only one there so it's not like they were busy. Every other betos location is great this one is quite honestly awful. Whoever is managing this location needs to really step up there game. No one is ever at this location and I wondered why because it's on the busiest road ever. I don't even know how they are in business. Anyways the food is great but it's expensive. We went to Betos this last weekend. I ordered, she repeated my order and I verified it was correct. Got to the window and she gave me the total, handed my card over and I asked for 4 red sauce. She gave me a dirty look and told me they charge for extra sauces ( I think this is dumb as the size of the sauce is tiny. But I digress) I asked if she'd take out the two green sauce and switch it for red. She agreed, although annoyed and threw two extra in the bag. Once she handed us the bag, she slammed the window and we looked and it was the wrong order completely. I stayed at the window and she acted like I didn't exist so I knocked and said it was wrong. She huffed and asked what we ordered. Looked around and told us it would be $15. I told her there was no way I was paying $15 and I'd pay the remaining That I owed because id already paid. She asked for the food back, which is a little alarming because it's against health code but she wouldn't give us our actual order until we did. She took the wrong order and threw it in the garbage hard (trying to make a point I guess?). It was really weird. And we had to go through the whole red sauce thing again. I'm not sure what her problem was but I was nice the entire time. They charge for everything and you get a bad attitude with your food. I had been going to this location since moving here in 2011. But I won't, the quality of food has gone down hill and the attitude is off the chart. Safe to say I won't be going back and I will be sharing my experience with my friends and family. Got my order completely wrong, unfortunately I did not realize until I had gotten back to the office. I ordered a California burrito and instead received a ham breakfast burrito (gross, btw). Their breakfast burritos are the reason I go. I used to feel that they were a perfect value considering the size and price. But I have found recently that the price is going up and the size of the burritos is going down, which seems to be the wrong direction to head toward. My reason for the two star rating is that this location has given me cold burritos the last two time I have been there. Meaning the ingredients were cold and the tortilla was burnt. This Betos has really gone downhill. I used to come in a lot but have not been here in a while since moving to Orem. The Lindon and Provo Beto's are much better. The prices are higher than the other locations, they dont have a salsa bar anymore, and the food is not as good. I ordered a chile verde smothered burrito and got almost no chile verde sauce, very dry. As others have stated, the staff is not that friendly here. Whoever the owner of this location is, better get on the stick and shape this place up or they wont be around long. read more
