    Carne asada tacos
    Samantha T.

Worlds best San Diego burritos! We've came here twice now and I can attest that it is pretty close to what San Diego has. We've gotten the carne asada burrito, carne asada super nachos, carne asada tacos. The burrito had pico de gallo in it which was good! The flavor hits so different from other Mexican restaurants. The tacos were HUGE! Tortillas could've been cooked a little longer but was still good. Moving onto the nachos...just thinking about it makes me drool! Seriously one of the best I've ever had. I NEVER finish super nachos anywhere. I hardly can eat half, but Pacos? I've ate the entire thing, twice. Fat kid status? Totally! Felt sick after? Yes but every bite was worth it. The red sauce is fire!!! It's got a really good kick and is so good. The avocado sauce is good as well has a bit of a kick. The green sauce however wasn't that great. Hardly any flavor. Service was fast but the guy did have a hard time understanding us as he didn't really speak English so we had to go back and forth on how much the total was. We did have to go in to get the red sauce. He gave us the green sauce instead. The first time we went, we didn't expect it to be inside a gas station. There is a drive through with full menu. I will definitely be back. I really want to try the chilaquiles.

This place was just ok. I got 2 cheese enchiladas with rice and beans, and the sauce was too sweet for me with a hint of cinnamon. I prefer savory/spicy sauces. The rolled tacos were just ok. They had a plastic taste to them, and weren't as crunchy as we had hoped. The green sauce was great!

Lunch today was amazing! We have been through the drive-thru three times in 6 days. Love the Carne Asada tacos! Green sauce is delicious!

My daughter loves the breakfast steak burrito from this place. I like them as well. These burritos are gigantic and tasteful. Very filling and served very hot with a variety of salsa. I have never been inside this location that shared space with the gas station. Instead I order using the drive thru and take it home, and by the time I arrive, it is still surprisingly hot. The cashier is nice. Paco's Tacos is a hole in the wall, an affordable satisfying gem.

Our server was a very kind young man and took good care of us, but with the quality of the food and the price, I really wouldn't suggest trying. The fish tacos are fried (and probably frozen from Sysco), the chorizo tacos I ordered were burnt to the point where it wasn't enjoyable to eat. The pastor was honestly really good though. My wife enjoyed the enchiladas, but again, $15 for the plate we got just seemed agressive and inconsiderate of the customers. The restaurant itself was nice enough, not particularly dirty or clean. The door leading to outside seating was locked, apparently we couldn't eat out there. It's not the worst I've had, but the value for price is insanely low.

They put a lot of meat in the taco for the al pastor although the shrimp taco only had three pieces of shrimp so I couldn't even finish the full taco because there was not enough shrimp in it. The salsa is very delicious as well. I love that they give you a small bag of chips and salsa with your order. Their beans are very good and I always get a side of them. They are very authentic! Their food is very fresh and flavorful. They have a large menu and can accommodate anyone's needs! The service is always good too. I appreciate that everything is made to order!

Sonora on Main Street Do not let the location fool you…read more Tucked into a corner spot near the freeway entrance on Main Street American Fork, Ocotillo is easy to drive past and a mistake to miss. Step inside and you will find a beautifully decorated space with an open kitchen greeting you at the entrance and a staff that is genuinely enthusiastic about the food they are serving. Ocotillo specializes in the cuisine of Sonora, Mexico, a region known for bold meat and seafood dishes. They also offer a daily brunch menu that is worth planning your weekend around. We ordered the tres leches pancakes, a triple stack that delivers exactly what the name promises. Bathed in a three milk mixture and topped with fresh berries and whipped cream, moist but not to sweet. The Sonorense combination was equally impressive. Arrachera steak strips, chilaquiles made with poblano chile, a tamal de elote, and two eggs. The arrachera was excellent and the chilaquiles were crispy, which is exactly how they should be and not something every kitchen gets right. The menu is long enough that choosing something different next time will be a genuine challenge. Omelettes, chilaquiles, brioches, and other specialties give you plenty of reasons to return. We are already looking forward to exploring the lunch and dinner menu. Slightly more expensive than a standard breakfast spot, but the generous portions and the quality of the ingredients justify every dollar. Five stars without hesitation.

They were 3 whole fried jalapeños covered in a spice. They were still hot as in spicy hot) but they were also mellow at the same time. I'd never had jalapeños like this before, and I will be back just for these! I loved cutting them up and eating them with my veggie quesadillas and bean tostada. The grilled onions and peppers in the quesadillas were really good and had a nice grilled flavor. I was kind of afraid to order a tostada to be delivered because I was worried it would get soggy. But it was still crisp and was very tasty.

Goodbye old friend…read more My family and I have been going to this restaurant for 16 years. We know the owner, he knows us. Over the last 5-6 years we have seldomly ate here for a few reasons. The quality has decreased, the rice is often hard. Last night we decided to give it another go hoping for a better (old time) experience. I ordered a smothered burrito- and received a flat tortilla smothered with a little amount of beans on the inside . There were a total of 2 chunks of pork on the outside of the plate and zero pork on the inside of my burrito. My husband also ordered a smothered burrito and received a bean and cheese burrito half ass smothered. My son didn't get a side of beans he ordered and the waitress didn't give us a chance to order drinks. Their prices have doubled since our last visit as well. I paid $15 for a burrito smothered in chili verde sauce without the protein. I'm highly disappointed and it was unanimous this restaurant is no longer what it once was, we will unfortunately not be back.
