When I finally got to the window, they asked me what my order was again (a single carne asada burrito). I waited another 5 minutes for them to prepare and provide my order. I politely asked for complimentary churros for having to wait 20 minutes in line. Uncertain if they did not hear or did not care, but they handed me a water and shut the window. I sat there and waited for another minute for them to open the window; they did not. No apology for the wait. No acknowledgement of the delay. No complimentary churros. Sorry to say but The food just isn't very good here. I got a breakfast burrito with sausage but it was loaded with nothing but potatoes. I was searching for the eggs which are an important part of a breakfast burrito but was unable to find them. Worst of all when I did see some thing that resembled egg it appeared to be the processed eggs that are liquid And can be poured out of the carton. This was truly a disgusting burrito. Worst experience! I ordered a drink and asked for them to take it off and the male representative that was working the cash register was wildly rude and told me he can't take the drink off at all. I calmly told him and said well I'm. Not paying $3 for a drink I just want the burrito. He flips out goes to the bank brings out the manager who can't mediate cause she doesn't speak English. He then tells me next time don't order a drink if you don't want it. I told him I am the customer if I want to remove an item I can and he just laughed at me as I took my food and left. They drip grease, so if that bothers you, don't get them, and ask yourself why you went to a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant if you don't like greasy food. So if you look closely at the sign, you'll see that it no longer says Beto's, it says "Bero's"!! IMPOSTERS!! (I know, it's the same) But they recently changed to Bero's and their breakfast burritos are more expensive now. They also don't allow you to eat inside the restaurant late at night anymore. As of May 12th, 2012 they have cheaper 'lengua' tacos than the Betos in North Orem. Not only that, the lengua is much better. The place looks a little run down but don't be misguided, this is the real deal. I prefer this location over any of the other Betos or Rancheritos. I have always had a good experience at this beto's. But today was not one of those. I ordered a bacon and egg breakfast burrito. I waited about 5-7 minutes for it, which isn't too bad. But the cashier seemed confused by what burrito was what burrito. There were many orders as the drive through was busy. I had to rush to work after or I would have been late, so I didn't have time to check what burrito I gave me because I assumed it was mine. I got to work starving ready for the beto's burrito I love. But got a mouthful of tomatoes steak and onions. Yes I shouldn't be so picky, but they shouldn't have given me the wrong order. The workers seemed relaxed and service was okay.
