Who ever work the night shift on may 17th 12:40 who mad my carne asada fires burritos nothing but fat, bone and pico like really I'm report this shop if I can get a gift card for my money I paid or my money back

    Bacon, egg, and cheese burrito

Came here for a quick bite to eat and ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito. There wasn't a lot of eggs, the "bacon" tasted more like ham and was cooked like ham, and the tortilla tasted old. The only thing I enjoyed was the green salsa and the potatoes. The burrito wasn't hot when we got it so we had to reheat it in the microwave. I'm good to never come here again.

Combo breakfast burrito. Mostly meat, cheese, and potatoes. Pretty sad breakfast burrito.

Update to my last review. I'm reducing my rating to 1 star citing poor management. Beto's had one of my photos taken down. Instead of addressing my quality concern Beto's decision was to complain to yelp because comparing their product to something else hurts their feel-bads. Sad. See pic for what a beto's breakfast burrito looks like. Too much meat. Too salty. And little to no eggs.

Beto's is one of those go to Mexican food places when you have a hankering for carne asada tacos, fries or burritos. This review is from one of the times we were able to go here for sit down service. Being that my wife has the gluten allergy she chose the carne asada plate, which is like having a thin sliced steak with Mexican style rice and re-fried beans. I ordered a carne asada taco and a carne asada fries to share with the wife. It's not like a sit down restaurant where they take your order, it's a fast food restaurant with some sit down tables. They have a salsa bar that you can get various salsa from. I usually get the red and green sauce for mine. You can get pico de gallo, a cilantro and onion mix, and a jalapeño and carrot mix. For drinks they have Pepsi products, however I like the Mexican style drinks they have available. Horchata is a cinnamon rice milk drink that I like to order sometimes. Also the Jamaica drink is my favorite and is a hibiscus flavored beverage that I recommend you try.

    nicely unmelted cheese

i'd say 1 out of 5 times i try to go here the burritos are good. Sometimes the food actually is warmed up and actually tastes fresh. 90% of the time their burritos taste fishy and the tortillas are dry and taste old. I primarily go to the saratoga one cause they're the best location but every once in a while give the af location another shot, never again. It's so bad that it's been a running joke with my friends frowning up to never go here unless you're wanting some sushi burritos.

Ordered a mix breakfast burrito and asked less/easy on potatoes. I've had this at other locations and never has it been this bad. Literally got a cold potatoes burrito with a couple tiny pieces of bacon and cold non melted cheese. I was the only one there so it's not like they were busy. I'd like a refund or new burrito and don't have time to turn around. I may just come after church with my receipt and burrito Here's pic for proof.

The burritos here are trash. Paid way too much money for a tiny burrito and drink. The burrito was cold. Go to Rancherito's!!

Good value and basic quality for beto's. My only complaint is this is probably the slowest shop on state street.

Our server was a very kind young man and took good care of us, but with the quality of the food and the price, I really wouldn't suggest trying. The fish tacos are fried (and probably frozen from Sysco), the chorizo tacos I ordered were burnt to the point where it wasn't enjoyable to eat. The pastor was honestly really good though. My wife enjoyed the enchiladas, but again, $15 for the plate we got just seemed agressive and inconsiderate of the customers. The restaurant itself was nice enough, not particularly dirty or clean. The door leading to outside seating was locked, apparently we couldn't eat out there. It's not the worst I've had, but the value for price is insanely low.

Step inside and you will find a beautifully decorated space with an open kitchen greeting you at the entrance and a staff that is genuinely enthusiastic about the food they are serving. Ocotillo specializes in the cuisine of Sonora, Mexico, a region known for bold meat and seafood dishes. They also offer a daily brunch menu that is worth planning your weekend around. We ordered the tres leches pancakes, a triple stack that delivers exactly what the name promises. Bathed in a three milk mixture and topped with fresh berries and whipped cream, moist but not to sweet. The Sonorense combination was equally impressive. Arrachera steak strips, chilaquiles made with poblano chile, a tamal de elote, and two eggs. The arrachera was excellent and the chilaquiles were crispy, which is exactly how they should be and not something every kitchen gets right. The menu is long enough that choosing something different next time will be a genuine challenge. Omelettes, chilaquiles, brioches, and other specialties give you plenty of reasons to return. We are already looking forward to exploring the lunch and dinner menu. Slightly more expensive than a standard breakfast spot, but the generous portions and the quality of the ingredients justify every dollar. Five stars without hesitation.

I will say, this is NOT fast food. They make the food fresh to order so do not expect to have a fast drive-thru. We waited quite some time but I have no complaints about that because of the freshness of the food. Additionally, we ordered a side of rice but the nice gentleman at the window told us that as they were cooking the rice, they decided after doing quality control, it just wasn't up to par with their standards. So, he offered us a refund on the side of rice and they filled the taco salad with all the other yummy stuff. We appreciated the honesty and would rather a refund than to be sold yucky rice! As far as the food goes, it was all fantastic. The taquitos hit the spot and had guacamole, cheese, and lettuce. I'd for sure get them again! The refried beans were hot and flavorful. The beef in the taco was juicy and fresh. We will definitely try the taco salad again when they have better rice so we can get the full experience but the chicken was super juicy and flavorful. We are happy to have stumbled upon this place and grateful they're open for our late night cravings. We will definitely be back!
