The food was good, the chilaquiles verdes needed a tiny bit of spice tho, there pickled onions were good that I asked for an extra side to give it a little more tang since it needed something. I'd come here again and try more things on the menu. Everyone seems super helpful and good helping staff. I give it a solid 4.5. The vibe is super chill and comfy. Gave me time to read my bible while I was eating.

The café de olla had a nice flavor, but it was much sweeter than expected. I think it would be better if they served it unsweetened (or lightly sweetened) and let customers adjust the sugar to their own taste. I really wanted to enjoy this place because the ambiance is so charming, but the food just didn't live up to the experience.

Coffee is alright but twice now the service has been not great. We ordered on the app and both times we came and got in the drive thru a few minutes early due to the fact that there was a line. As a customer, when you have a pick up time, sometimes it's hard to gauge how fast the long line is going to take to get through. Both times we were a few minutes early. And both times they made it a point to let us know we were too early and that they would have to push our order through inconveniently and to have us "drive to the window as slow as possible." They then stuck the coffee out the window for us to grab and then turned around and shut the window before we could even say thank you. The attitude was off putting to say the least. If the pick up time is that critically time sensitive maybe there should be reserved pick up spots for us to pull into while we wait for our order instead of making us feel bad. read more

I've visited the Fullerton location previously, but I was in the area of the Placentia location earlier today. I went in to order the same drink from before, the "Matcha Buzz" with some alterations. I was exuberant with my experience. I spoke with Andrew and he was very kind and helpful! Since my drink was very specific, he took it into his own hands and made it himself to ensure the quality of my drink was exceptional. Just got home from Better Buzz to get my afternoon lunch. I got the Turkey Pesto sandwich with avocado and sliced tomato. It was perfectly toasted. It was hot, the cheese all melted, and the bread was so crispy this time. I don't know what they did different, but it tasted so good. The tomatoes and avocado were the perfect addition.I love going through the Better Buzz drive thru; everyone at the drive window is so nice and always thoughtful of the customer's needs and wants. Ryan was very kind at the drive-thru as we kicked off the Fall Season with our first Pumpkin Spice Latte. It was packed with flavor, slightly heavy on the cinnamon, but delicious. If you're going to Better Buzz, don't go inside. I ordered two drinks and waited over 30 minutes in an almost empty café while the drive-through was prioritized. When I finally asked about my order, they said they had to take care of the drive-through first. The drinks were then made in under a minute. The bubble waffle was also made perfectly and paired really well with the soft serve. The Thai milk tea was just as good. It had a nice tea flavor and wasn't overly sweet, which I really appreciated. The boba had the perfect chewy texture with a noticeable brown sugar flavor that made it even better. Customer service was on point from start to finish, and the store itself had a clean, welcoming vibe that made it a nice place to enjoy dessert. Everything I ordered was solid, and I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu. If you're a fan of milk soft serve, the Hokkaido milk is definitely worth trying!

I got the earl grey matcha which are two of my favorite flavors it was of course delicious. Food: They had just rolled out a new menu that includes a slice of sourdough bread and butter for 5$. I'm really working on cutting out the sweet treats (which they have plenty of) so it was perfect for me. They also have wholesome foods such as breakfast sandwiches and burritos which-- if I didn't have dinner plans after my study session-- is always appreciated as too often the food at coffee shops are sugary pastries and a bunch of empty calories. Service was friendly and personable. Communitea shows its dedication to being a warm, welcoming third-space environment. There is a shelf filled with board games and a kids play area (if you have one of those). They have assorted merchandise like coffee beans, plants, mugs, chips & snacks, etc.. There were flyers for all types of events throughout the month. I don't often write reviews I don't even live anywhere near Brea, but I would love to see this business thrive if not expand.
