Came on a Monday morning and this place was popping! I've been to their other locations and was a little disappointed to find out this place didn't have an inside area to hang out. You just walk up to the order window or go to the drive thru which is pretty small. The parking situation is a bit confusing as well. Like any new spot, there will be some hiccups. They need to figure out a better system for calling out drinks because they were getting everyone's orders mixed up. The employees were very nice though and I'm sure they were trying their best given how busy it was. I ordered their Horchata Iced Latte. It was pretty good. I've now gone 2 times. The people are peppy. The buzz is abuzzing. Good vibes and energy around the location. The avocado toast is good. The drive through line goes by pretty quickly. I haven't quite found my drink yet so I'll try a few more times but glad it's close to home. read more

Saw that this opened up in my neighborhood and definitely needed to check out this location. I didn't realize that it is a drive thru and walk up window only. There are a few seats in front of the walk up window but no inside seating available. I went to the drive thru on a rainy day. Their staff was out in the rain taking orders from a very long drive thru line. For being outside in the rain, the gal was super nice and helpful with the menu. I got an iced Best Drink Ever and an iced vanilla latte with oat milk. I really liked the drinks. The latte was creamier than the Best Drink Ever. I wanted to try their toasted marshmallow but it was sold out. I'll definitely go back and try for that again some other time. I also ordered an almond croissant and it was yum! Not me hoping that the hype dies down cuz I obviously want them to stay but hoping for shorter lines so that I can enjoy this yummy new coffee shop in the neighborhood with more ease (though they do a great job of moving the long line as quickly as they can). read more

Had to come and check out what the hype was about. Went on a Sunday around 12:15pm and the place was buzzin' (get it?) Tons of people had the same idea as us, but the workers handled it all pretty well! We walked up and probably waited about 15 min for 2 drinks and 2 food items. I will say, the drive through situation is definitely going to upset a lot of people. They have overflow cars waiting along the residential street and blocking traffic coming in and out, so not ideal. Now to the good stuff. The food and drinks. Drinks: we got 2 of the "best drinks ever", one with regular sweetness and one 1/2 sweet. Both were very good! Sweetness of the regular one was about an 8/10 and the half sweet was like a 6/10. Smooth, creamy, would 100% get again. Food: we got a Chili Crunch breakfast wrap and a Brie and Turkey croissant (seasonal I think). The chili crunch wrap was ordered without ham, but even with the ham, I don't know if this could be saved haha. Maybe you can substitute bacon? Overall, the wrap was pretty lackluster. Flavor was OOOKAY, but the crunch wasn't there. Just tasted like flavored mush in a bland wrap. The turkey croissant was a mix of emotions. The croissant was perfectly cooked, the brie cheese was very creamy and delicious, but only 2 small slices of turkey left a lot to be desired. Will not be getting the wrap again, but will try out something else next time. Price: our total was almost $37 after a small tip. The drinks are worth the price, but the food items were really hard to justify unfortunately at roughly $10 each. read more

The reason I gave them 2 stars was solely on the great customer service that the person had that was taking my order. Now for my order i would give negative stars if I could! I ordered feta avocado deluxe toast and a large best drink ever with an extra add shot! The toast was not toast it was a soggy piece of bread with avocado and messing fixings on top! With the avocado the bread just got even more soggy, definitely not appetizing. The coffee was an iced coffee but since they only added about 3 iced cubes it turned out to be a warm coffee. After fasting and visiting a local lab for a blood draw, I was starving and weak from lack of caffeine. Happy to see a Better Buzz right down the street so I made my way over to get my buzz on. Not going to lie, seeing a security guard and orange road cones right at the entrance kind of threw me, but I drove in anyway without stopping. Hopefully, security is there just to direct traffic rather than stop coffee fighting. There are very limited parking spaces if you plan to use the walk up window. I counted 8 total I believe including the disabled parking. This can be tricky with the DoorDash peeps coming and going. There is also limited seating outside, but as long as people don't camp out there to do homework or office work, you should be able to find a seat to enjoy your drink and maybe some fumes from the drive thru. The drink menu is huge. Drinks are available hot or cold, and their food menu is impressive for a small coffee stop. Because I am a boring coffee drinker, I almost want to come moreso for the food than drink. All kinds of bowls, breakfast sammies, yummy sounding toasts, pastries, etc. My order was a hot Hazelnut Divinity (a white chocolate mocha with hazelnut) and a chili crunch breakfast wrap. The drink was tasty, but as usual a bit too sweet for my liking. I drank half and saved the rest for later. Sugar free options here would be a bonus, but next time I should just stick with a basic espresso or Americano. The wrap was delicious. However, I would like some extra chili crunch. Next time! We love our Upland Better Buzz! We just came back from another trip to SD and of course stopped at other Buzz locations, but none compare to our small but mighty one here in our city. Whoever does the hiring for this location should get kudos because customer service here is always top notch! Today Hayley helped us at the drive thru and she went above and beyond. She was conversational and got us the latest sticker I've been looking forward too. It wasn't just about handing us coffee. She was smiling and just like others there, actually enjoying her day at work and it shows. I chose the dark roast it is not burned or excessively bitter it was hot , I won't say it is the burst I have had it is an equal to Dutch brothers. But if you are not getting syrup, milks, and whipped cream it is a bit underwhelming. The store offers both walk up and drive thru service and a small patio . Service was moderate. I ordered a large black coffee payed, and was ask my name . I joined the queue at pick up ( I don't expect to be prioritized by simplicity. I've been wanting to check out this location ever since I visited another spot from this chain in Laguna Beach, so I was super excited to finally try it out. Overall, I'm glad I came to see what the hype was about. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't any indoor seating, but they do offer outdoor seating, which would be perfect during the summer months. They also have a drive thru, but I ordered from the outdoor window. I ordered the Better Breakfast Sandwich, and it was really good. I also tried the vanilla bean latte, but unfortunately, I didn't really care for the way it tasted at this location. The service was friendly, and I was surprised by how busy it was at 8am! The avocado spread was not seasoned at all, there was NO FLAVOR! No taste! But what really keeps me coming back is their Better Breakfast Sandwich. It's stacked with bacon, egg, Havarti cheese, arugula, and garlic aioli on a pretzel bun... and wow.
