I always enjoy this place. The people here are so friendly, the coffee is really good and it's a great place to work from home. I forgot my headphones and it wasn't even bad with the noise level. It's a very familial environment. The coffee is very expensive however but the environment and the location help sometimes.

As predicted, despite a mixed meh experience with service last time, their new seasonal drinks roped me back in. But happy to report we had a MUCH better experience this time around! And the drinks were even better. The seasonal salted brown butter latte was amazing, definitely enough to bring me back! Five stars go to that drink. It was actually the seasonal strawberry latte that initially brought me in but the strawberry latte was pretty subtle. If I didn't see the strawberry dust on top, I wouldn't have really guessed it was a strawberry latte. We also ordered some more pastries and food this time. I liked the avocado bagel a lot better than the tiny burrito I got last time. Perfect seasoning and I loved the fresh lemon on it. The croissants (ham and cheese, and chocolate) were both winners as well once warmed up. It's definitely a pricier and more high end spot but worth checking out for the seasonal drinks!

Have been here a few times now, and I'm so glad I have been able to check them out. This place is so beautiful on the inside, spacious (tables and bar seating, has lots of drinks and food options, and great service. I've tried their seasonal salted brown butter latter and strawberry spritz. The latte was absolutely delicious, perfectly balanced, and not milky at all. The photo may look like it was a lot of milk but once mixed the espresso was not overshadowed. The spritz was light and had a not-too-sweet flavor. My friend had the blood orange spritz and it was less sweet and more bitter. I have yet to try food so that'll be my next adventure here. During the day it's bright and lively, and during the night it is a bit more romantic and intimate. It's a great spot to either sit and read at, have a friendly lunch, or less formal dinner date. The staff were super nice and friendly, provided recommendations/suggestions, and are attentive. I definitely recommend coming and checking this place out!

My favorite thing about this place is the area that's it's in! Very walkable especially if you have pets! Service: barista was awesome in assisting with menu options and welcoming us in as it was our very first time here. Inside: it's insanely clean inside with lots of seating and so much good lighting! This can definitely be a brunch and yap spot if you want it to be! They do have weekly specials posted inside so be sure to check that out! Coffee: I ended up ordering a banana bread latte w/ almond milk which was delicious. Not overly sweet with just enough flavor to get a hint of banana bread. Highly recommend y'all to check this place out!

I came here on a weekday morning and there were quite a few people working and enjoying their morning drink and snack. The place looked great for a peaceful morning vibe, with relaxing music, nice blue felt chairs, and spacious tables to sit at. I ordered their Marshmallow Latte to-go. Service was friendly and quick! I loved the latte taste and the coffee was on the stronger side. The roasted marshmallow placed inside added just the perfect amount of sweetness to the latte. The price of the drink is reasonable for its quality.

I always come in with low expectations when trying new coffee places. (As noted in their name, Tandem also serves wine.) I tried their Honey Lavender Latte, which exceeded my expectations. The flavor of lavender was there, and they managed to have the right balance of sweetness. It honestly was a great latte, in my opinion. I typically opt for a plain latte, since I find many places that produce syrupy sweet drinks, but I found this wasn't the case with Tandem! I also tried something to eat off their PM menu. (They have a menu just for the morning and a menu for the afternoon.) The Marinated Veggie and Herbed Cheese Sandwich was packed with flavor, definitely one of the better things I've eaten this year! There's a small lot and some street parking around. When I first arrived, I thought I was in the wrong spot. FedEx is the prominent signage on the building they're located in. They have a bright, open interior with a good amount of table seating. Many people were working on their computers as they enjoyed their coffee. Great coffee/food and good service. Can't wait to return!

I've had Tandem in my bookmarks for a while- I'm currently trying all of the PSLs I can, and they have a pumpkin pie latte for the autumn! The free parking is definitely a plus, but definitely make sure you keep an eye on time because they will ticket/tow. It's a beautiful open space with plenty of seating. I got their pumpkin pie latte hot with oat milk, and a honey lavender latte for my coworker- she loved it. The pumpkin pie latte was like you scooped some pumpkin pie filling and put it in a latte. Very pumpkin forward! Would love to come back and try more. Staff is delightful.

I visited Tandem Coffee early on a Saturday morning and had a great experience. It was easy to find, and while there is a small parking lot available, be mindful of the posted one-hour parking sign. Upon entering, I immediately loved the ambiance. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I ordered a hot cookie butter latte with oat milk (no whip) from their winter menu, and it was absolutely delicious. They also had a selection of pastries available for purchase, which looked tempting. I arrived early enough that there were plenty of tables to choose from, but by around 10:30 a.m. the place had filled up and all tables were occupied. If you're planning to dine in, I'd recommend getting there early to secure a seat. Overall, I highly recommend Tandem Coffee if you're looking for great coffee in the East Sac area. Can't wait to visit again soon!

I almost don't want to write a review for this place because this is a hidden gem! There's something about coffee and wine that I love. And this place has it all great coffee, wine selection, and ambience. Bonus customer service is amazing. I ordered a Banana Bread Latte and this literally tasted like a Banana Bread Milkshake with coffee notes at the end. I sat at the bar to do some work, and chatted with some of the workers there. They are knowledgeable of both coffee and wine products and even offered me a sample of wine I was curious about. For food, I split the Marinated veggie & herbed cheese with a friend, and the quality was great. Overall this was an amazing experience and will be back to try some of their breakfast offerings and their wine offerings.

May be one of my new favs. It was BEAUTIFUL inside, the lighting was hitting everything perfectly and it felt so warm and inviting. The reflections from the windows are so cute. The coffee was delicious, I got their seasonal brown butter latte and it has a very distinct bit great flavor. I also got a lemon poppyseed muffin and it was so tasty. Very moist and the glaze wasn't like sweet it complemented the flavor of the lemon very well. The cheddar scallion scone was good too but I preferred the muffin. Service was very friendly and even struck up a convo that didn't feel forced or awkward which I loved. Would make a great place to get some work done in or meet up with a friend. Will have to come back to try the wine bar aspect.

What a great new spot for coffee, wine, and hanging out! I came here in search of a new place to do work and was pleasantly surprised. The staff is super friendly. I got the banana bread latte and it was great; it had an almost bourbon taste to it which was different from other banana bread lattes I've had. After working for a few hours, we got a bottle of wine to share and played some of the board games they have. Good seating with outlets and wifi. Highly recommend for both doing work and grabbing a glass of wine with friends.

My husband and I like to walk to get coffee on Saturdays when our daughter is at her Jiu Jitsu class. We usually visit Coffee Works, but today we decided to check out some place new. Tandem Coffee & Wine is located on the corner of Folsom and Alhambra - across from Jayna Gyro. The inside was super modern and sleek - I really liked the pop of blues from the lighting and I liked that they had a bar area to sit at as well as regular tables throughout. We ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte, a Fresh Brewed Iced Coffee, a Cinnamon Roll and 2 Breakfast Roll-Ups. The Vanilla Latte was good, not too sweet. My daughter loved her Cinnamon Roll and we thought the Breakfast Roll-Ups were decent - I really liked the kick that the homemade green sauce added to it. Overall, I liked the coffee and food options a lot. I also really liked the interior and how spacious it was. The staff were also very friendly and personable - the guy who took our order gave great suggestions! We will definitely be back next weekend when we're in the area! Check them out!

Tandem is such a cute little place! The first thing I noticed about it was how much light comes into the cafe; it is a great place to sit and relax in the morning with your beverage. I got an iced chai latte with oat milk. The barista was friendly and quick with his service, though I was disappointed to see that oat milk is a whole dollar more (which was not clear until I ordered it). However, it was super good! It was definitely on the sweet side, so maybe not an every day treat, but I really enjoyed it!

This hidden gem offers an experience that's unlike anything else in the city. The setup is simple but charming: you literally walk up to a window and order your wine. I believe it's one ring for white, two for red, and three or four for sparkling--don't quote me on that, but it adds a playful, old-world vibe that makes the whole experience memorable. The Wine Window is affordable, laid-back, and surprisingly quaint. It's the kind of place where the ambiance, the people, and the energy make it feel more like an experience within an experience--not just a drink stop. I had the chance to chat with John, the owner, who shared a bit of the backstory. He previously owned a full wine room nearby, but when the pandemic hit, he had to pivot. Instead of calling it quits, he leaned into a smaller, more intimate concept inspired by wine windows in Europe. Honestly, I think the scale makes it even better. The outdoor patio is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine while people-watching on L Street, and yes, there's even a restroom available (a rare but very appreciated amenity for this type of setup). If you find yourself downtown, do yourself a favor--swing by The Wine Window, have a chat with John, and enjoy a unique Sacramento experience.
